Tiara styled my hair the morning of my wedding, and it couldn’t have turned out better! I loved it so much, and it kept so secure and neat all day, even through taking my veil on and off and lots and lots of dancing. Would recommend!!!

I knew nothing about the salon or who to ask for when making this appointment so needless to say I was a little nervous. My appointment was made with Tiara and within the first 5 minutes of my appointment I was at ease. The salon is very nice, clean and everyone friendly. Tiara is amazing with hair color I could not of asked for more. I will continue to go back and would recommend you make an appointment. My hair looks amazing , THANK YOU Tiara !!

I visited for the first time last week and I could not be happier with the service I received. Tiara was my stylist and did an amazing job with my hair color and cut! It was a pleasure to be with Tiara who was extremely professional and carefully listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly. I could not be happier with the result! I've been to multiple salons in Albuquerque over the past 10 years and this is the best i've found. Tiara the owner, is excellent! She is very professional and a very down to earth person. My daughter got her hair done by Natacia, She did an amazing job! Definitely will come back to get her hair done again. So, if you're looking for a great hairstylist, this is the place to come to. All the ladies are friendly and helpful with what kind of hairstyle you like. This is my first time coming here and I will be returning. Natacia did my hair and she did great. She was very friendly , nice and professional. The place was real clean and pretty. If you are looking for someone to cut, color and/or style your hair I would recommend coming here. She also does waxing. She did great on my eyebrows. I love how my hair came out. It is very hard to trust someone with your hair and waxing as well but she did amazing and made me feel comfortable. Thank you Natacia.

Amanda knows her stuff! I initially went in a few months ago needing some help after a total disaster that left me in tears from another hairstylist in Rio Rancho. I went in looking like a clown 🤡 literally! Amanda educated me on what happened and more importantly found a solution. Although I went in with images of what I wanted, she was honest enough to tell me that "my hair needed to heal". With a trim, color correction and a deep conditioning treatment, she gained my trust and sent me home with some home remedies to get me back on track. I recently went in and couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks again Amanda

I came to rave again about Tiara & her girls but I saw "S"s one star review...and yeah...no. First, LOVE my hair and my mom's hair (my selfie sucks, but you can see better pics on IG @tiarashairsalon ) Second...I saw who I'm assuming is "S"s hair on IG and it's nice as hell. Then I did a little digging...this chick writes reviews to scam businesses out of their payment for services. I included pics of her other "reviews". Trust the stars ladies and gents...Texas girl ("S") is just tryin to get mani's, pedi's, sun tans, and hair services for free or reduced price.

Amanda did AMAZING work on my hair the day before my wedding, and gave me essentially exactly what I wanted. Definitely going back and 10/10 would recommend going here if you want to look beautiful and feel valued as a person and a customer!

Lynn is very professional, sweet, and damn good at her job. I was referred to her for my lashes and ever since going to her they have lasted me so much longer than anyone I've gone to in the past. I still send clients to her as often as I can! 10/10 !! The color lashes she has been doing for me has been beautiful!

Stylist was very nice, not assertive and overpowered by the owner maybe, but nice. It is the owner I am reviewing. After consulting with the stylist, Tiara pretty much took over determining what to do with my hair then left the stylist to deal with the results. Having shown photos and discussing at length what I did not and did want, hearing Tiara saying “it’s brightening, see?” And “I think this is a good color!” I expected to see at least somewhere near what I’d asked for. Unfortunately, this was NOT the case. I’d asked for brighter not gray or dark and dingy hair. The stylist saying she wanted me to “be happy and did not think what was recommend what I wanted or would work,” she set about conditioning and highlighting it. This is what should’ve happened—but at THEIR cost. I think Tiara called at least 4 times during processing, once telling the stylist what she “should’ve done.” [wow. Why didn’t she care enough for the stylist! (and the customer) to come back and deal with HER results?] I thought I noted the stylist measuring her words and avoiding arguing with her “boss.” Imagine my surprise when they attempted to charge me almost $300. I did not pay that amount, but did pay far more than what should’ve been charged since I’d left no doubt as to what I wanted and did not get anywhere near it. I felt bad for the stylist and ended up tipping her— after all the owner had taken over and directed her, then took off—calling multiple times but leaving her to cope with the results. I think it’s likely Tiara left knowing or suspecting there would be fallout. I regret ever believing the positive reviews or walking into Tiara’s Salon. What I should’ve taken more note of were these: Tiara’s defensive and immature posture with those who have left negative reviews, the multiple stylists she has been through, a completely dead shop at 3:00pm on a Friday afternoon, and her “joking” about me not pressuring them, with veiled threats of, one example, “putting brown in your hair.” (My hair is white, silver, and blonde.) I honestly wonder if she set out to “make me pay,” out of pride or resentment of feeling I was pressuring them—and not only my making very clear what I did and did not want. I have no respect for dishonest business practices or misleading to make a profit, no respect for the owner’s questionable ethics, no respect for “sales tactics,” including her saying “I’m not trying to sell you anything 🙄,” or for bosses/owners who micromanage then let others deal with the results of their micromanaging. I regret entering Tiara’s Hair Salon, and strongly recommend others don’t. For those reading reviews, read very carefully should the owner respond. I’ve noted she has offered to “fix” other errors in response to negative reviews, then found fault with those who didn’t accept her offer! If she responds to this one with anything other than, “I’m so very, very sorry and would like to refund your money,” … I’m hoping you get the picture.
