I came down from Alaska. 11/10 recommend coming here for your spa services! Everyone is extremely kind and professional - they deliver quality service and always make you look and feel amazing! Michelle thank you for your kindness and professionalism. We will be back!

The experience was great but it's really hard to find if you don't stay at the hotel.

customer service at this place was so horrendous that I started crying. They treated me like I was a beggar off the street when I thought initially that I was walking into a luxurious spa they treated me like I was not welcome like I was not supposed to be there made me feel very uncomfortable very unwanted charge me for drinks that I did not even drink I do believe that someone sold my belongings out of my locker and nobody wanted to take action into it and claimed that I was a liar when I told him to check the video footage of me walking in with the belongings and now I am walking out with none of those belongings I came in on January 15 try to celebrate my birthday with me and my sisters and they treated us all like complete garbage. That’s the best way to put it I highly do not recommend this place to staff. The service cleanliness is all under and minus one star. We told him that their showers were Unclean They kept persisting that they just cleaned it when I even took photos to prove to them that they did not. The steam room was filthy with dirty, make up wipes and dirty towels when I told Danielle the front lady that was there and Kaitlyn, I believe or Katie I think her name was that the way that they treated me was very unfair. It was not nice. They told me OK and and told me to stop talking and level I told them I want you to bring Security and I want you to bring the main manager. They told me we’re already close. You have no choice but to get out and you could figure this out or disputed on your card if you don’t like our behavior or the money you spend. Don’t waste your money don’t waste your time and save your tears

Absolutely gorgeous spa and incredible services and providers! Big shoutout to Paris for assisting us with booking and checkout.. George, for guiding me through my Sun Worshiper service and being SO ATTENTIVE and taking care of us and our bachelorette party group- he was such a sweetheart! And I also heard all about the incredible massage my mom received from Evonne! 11/5 stars if I could! 🫶💕🧖🏼‍♀️

I was underwhelmed by the experience. They did not have a sauna but had a steam room. There are only 3 bathrooms and 3 showers. The spa was difficult for me to find and I wish there were better signs. I asked for a second robe and was told that they were running low but would give me one anyways. The deep tissue massage was average and did not feel any different than a regular massage.

I booked the couple’s massage experience at Tierra Luna after carefully researching various spa options in the area. Let me start by saying that most spas around here are just "meh" in my opinion—but let's focus on this one. This spa, located inside the enchanting and magical-looking Arizona Biltmore, was incredibly difficult to find. The layout is so confusing it feels like a maze, and it took us a frustrating amount of time just to figure out where to go. We arrived 10 minutes late to our appointment. Yes, we were late—but here’s the thing: I’m paying for a service. And let me emphasize, this service is not cheap. I’m paying them to take care of me, not the other way around. A spa visit is not a favor they’re doing for their customers. Yet, from the moment we arrived, the staff made it very clear how “inconvenient” our tardiness was. The space itself is undeniably beautiful—but don’t let that fool you. The massage experience was absolutely terrible. I cannot stress enough how bad it was. The room was brightly lit and failed to create any relaxing ambience. Our backs were left exposed in a chilly room the entire time, making it impossible to unwind. To add insult to injury, the masseuses kept reminding me about how late we were—breaking any illusion of tranquility. Before the massage even began, they threw in upsell tactics, asking if we wanted to add a hot stone massage (for an additional cost) or enhance the experience with essential oils (also extra). It felt manipulative, like you’re forced to choose between overpriced add-ons or sticking with their basic service, which, as I discovered, wasn’t even remotely worth the money. This spa is vastly overrated and overpriced. The aesthetics don’t make up for the subpar service and the lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—not friends, not family, not even casual acquaintances. Save your money and your time; there are better options out there. Tierra Luna is all fluff, no substance, and definitely not worth it.

My favorite was the amazing waiter Big Six, pictured here with my husband behind the S'mores Sundae

Dec 05, 2024

My daughter and I had the 50 Hyrdra Facial the day after Thanksgiving. Mine was okay, but it was not worth the money. The therapist my daughter had was not trained for this service and barely touched her face. Save your money.

Overall the spa looks amazing but the actual services do not hold up to that standard. I was unpleasantly surprised

This may have been the worst facial I have ever gotten. I put my hair up and under me on the table because it’s long enough to touch the floor and I didn’t want it to be on the floor. Lisa pulled my hair out with no warning told me my hair was pretty and asked if it was real. Smh. She put a million products on my face that were room temp, cold, some tingling (even though she made it clear that it was not chemicals). She turned on a bright light with no warning. Everything she did had no warning and was uncomfortable. She was not gentle at all. I have NEVER had a facial where the aesthetician is completely careless and doesn’t inform you of everything they are putting on your face especially if it is very cold or even tingly. She even put product in my eyes which burned. Smh this was not luxury at all. I will never return.

I cannot speak highly enough of the Spa at the Arizona Biltmore!! The facilities are brand new and incredible; in particular the sol garden. SO nice to actually have cold/hot plunge tubs that guests can use. But the staff is first rate. Sandro set up our tub soak and did a great job explaining everything - and my wife had a facial from Solida and absolutely RAVED about it. Five stars across the board; will definitely be going back soon.

One of the best spas we have ever been to. First the service was incredible. Megan at the front desk was beyond helpful and gracious. She spent the time to help us craft an absolutely incredible spa day. She also checked in with us throughout the experience to make sure we were enjoying it. The facility itself is gorgeous and has every amenity one would need including a cold plunge and steam room (a dry sauna is apparently being added next week). Beyond this, the wellness treatments were great as was the overall ambiance. I can’t say enough about this place.

Sep 05, 2024

The aesthetic of the spa is definitely nice. I saw online there was a 100 minute deep tissue massage for $235. I got an under eye mask addition that was $45 and they added a $100 gratuity charge as well. My total should have been $380. Somehow the receipt was $624.42. I called to follow up on this because I essentially got charged double. No answer and no returned call. I try a lot of day spas in Arizona. Please go elsewhere, there are much nicer resorts that do not give mediocre massages and that do not rob you.

This was my first time visiting the spa, and I was really excited when I called to book the appointment. The lady who answered the phone was pleasant and upbeat, so I was looking forward to my visit. It started off on a really good note. Getting to the spa was a bit hectic because I got held up, so I was in a rush when I first walked in. Unfortunately, I found the staff to be somewhat rude, particularly Yvette and Zari. It took them about three or four calls to get someone to take me back, and the person never came, so Zari had to take me back herself. I was told there were no phones allowed, so I put my phone away. However, in the reviews, I saw photos taken by others, and after my facial, I noticed women in the locker room using their phones. I asked if I could take pictures and was eventually told no because people might be walking around nude,( locker room ) which I understand. But seeing people use their phones freely in the locker room made me feel singled out. Why was I being told no while everyone else seemed to have a free-for-all with their phones? This inconsistency was frustrating. When I checked out, the process felt rushed, and I wanted to speak with the esthetician to find out what skincare product she used on me. I had to ask Zari multiple times to get her, and it felt like she didn’t want to help. Why should I have to ask multiple times for something so simple? Eventually, she did it, but their attitude was poor overall. Yvette was trying to be what we call in the South “sweet but rude,” and it just felt very disingenuous. They’re the first people you see when you arrive and the last when you leave, and unfortunately, both of them had not-so-great attitudes. Yvette even commented, “All the staff here are nice,” but I beg to differ not those two. They were very unpleasant, which was disappointing given the high expectations I had for the visit. I was considering visiting once a month, but I’d rather explore other options than pay the price to be treated poorly. My esthetician, Solida, was wonderful. She was very professional and allowed me to relax in the room without constant chatter, explaining everything at the right moments, which I appreciated. The rest of the staff was friendly, including the guy who brought the wine and all the masseuses.I give her 5 stars . The robes at the spa were disappointing. They were scratchy and uncomfortable, even the extra-extra-large ones. They weren’t plush and felt more like sandpaper on your skin. For a spa experience, I think it's important to invest in better quality luxury robes that offer more comfort . It’s unfortunate that the front desk staff were not pleasant because they are the first and last people you interact with during a visit. No matter how great the other staff are, their attitude makes me hesitant to return. In this economy, I don’t want to spend my hard earned money on a place with such unfriendly receptionists.

Beautiful spa. Very peaceful experience. The services are pricey but for us it was definitely worth it. One booking at the spa allows access to all the amenities as well as the water slides and pools next door. The cold plunge is one of the coldest I’ve felt. Very impressive in 107° arizona heat. There are complementary baked goods and tea as well as salads and alcoholic drinks to order. The staff were all incredibly attentive and kind.

I was just charged $75 for a missed spa appt when I had canceled this via email over a month ago!!!! Don't give them a credit card to save on file! I'm not even in the same state as I am recovering from surgery...in Iowa!!! Just terrible customer service! I will reschedule my trip to the Biltmore Hotel in Arizona but will NEVER use their spa services. #GREEDY!!!!

Tierra Luna Spa is such a peaceful and tranquil place. I only got a pedicure but enjoyed the experience from start to finish. The relaxation area is indoor and outdoor and the ladies changing area was nicely done. The pedicure was one of the best I’ve ever had and the polish lasted a loooong time…definitely worth the cost! Parking is a bit tricky, just let the person at the gate know you’re going to the spa. They’ll let you in and direct you to their parking area.

I had an appointment for a pedicure. They had me wait in the area for massages. It was nice, but not the right area! My aesthetician got me shortly after my appointment time and I had a pleasant experience.

THE MOST LUXE atmosphere ever! I flew in from Vegas to visit this location and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! I am scheduled to visit again soon!

Absolutely incredible experience here! I've been to spas all over the world, and this one definitely stood out. We did the couple's ritual experience, the Luna balancing, and it was extraordinary. The whole process from check-in feels very welcoming and calming. The garden area is very serene and inviting. The massage was perfectly timed at 50 minutes. The wellness bar offered delicious hummus and quinoa salad with either champagne or mocktail. The soak tub smelt incredible, and the intention stones made for an even more romantic time. The steam shower was absolutely invigorating. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will be back. All of the packages were extremely reasonable with pricing, from my experience.

Apr 05, 2024

Atmosphere was great. However the massage was less than desirable. Masseuse appeared very uninvolved and not happy to be at work. The experience and the massage were a 1 star. We’ve been all over the world and this was by far at the bottom of the list. The hair on the masseuses arm was prickly like a man’s beard. It was all around just bad.

Extremely pricey for services. They do a good job but not exceptional. The ladies in front are a bit pushy. One asked my husband several times if he was getting services (when he was) and then asked for his name. She was frankly rude which surprised us. We stay at the Biltmore every year. We won't be using Tierra Luna again.

Let me start by saying, I’m so grateful for my husband and that he surprised me with a day at the spa! Tierra Luna is a beautiful little desert sanctuary. No one on cell phones, no kids, no loud noises - just nice and peaceful. I really enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room (in the women’s locker room/lounge), the common lounge area, my facial, and being in robe and slippers all day. My esthetician was informative and made my skin look great and clean. The hot tub and cold dip pool was nice. They offer (for extra) three lunch menu items: a bowl (see photo), salad, and I can recall the third. They also have a small plate of chocolate bites, a few wines to choose from and mocktails. (Again, all for an extra cost) I was however SHOCKED at the prices. My 55 minute facial, although lovely and was a fave, was $215!! My 100 minute, basic, massage was… Gulp… $415!!! There was nothing spectacular about the massage. It was standard. I’ve had better. My 55 minute pedi was $85. I was disappointed that they didn’t have many polish colors to choose from - no vibrant colors for summer. I did enjoy the locker room amenities and just the tranquil, relaxing part of the spa experience that you have all day access to. The staff was nice. I felt like they charged so much because it has the Biltmore name attached to it. Quality of services is about a 3.5 star. Price is a 1 star. Overall relaxing experience and amenities is a 4 star. Can’t say I’d be back at those prices, but I am now a fan of day spas.

I moved appointment to Jan 1, with lead therapist of this spa. Name Steve. On 31 cancel again under: therapist has family emergency. Shaaady place. Should go out of business with such a work ethics

Our experience at the spa at Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, was an unforgettable journey of luxury and relaxation. This sanctuary of serenity goes above and beyond in redefining what a luxury spa experience should be. From the moment we walked in, the warmth and professionalism of the staff were evident. They attended to our needs with a personal touch, making us feel exceptionally pampered. The spa offered a diverse range of treatments, blending traditional techniques with innovative approaches. Each treatment, particularly the massages, was a masterpiece, utilizing high-quality, natural products that soothed and rejuvenated us. The facilities at the spa were immaculate and aesthetically pleasing, from the pristine sauna and steam rooms to the tranquil outdoor areas with breathtaking views. Every detail was meticulously crafted, emphasizing their commitment to holistic wellness. The experience was further enhanced by yoga and meditation sessions, led by skilled instructors who helped deepen our sense of relaxation. And the culinary offerings were a delightful surprise, featuring healthy, gourmet snacks that were as tasty as they were wholesome. In summary, the spa at Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, is not just a spa visit; it’s an immersive journey of sensory delight and profound relaxation. We left feeling not just pampered, but revitalized and eager for our next visit. For those in search of an unmatched spa experience, this spa is a top-tier choice.

The receptionist was extremely helpful. Seems rare locating spas with soak bath treatments. So happy and I feel lucky to come across Tierra Luna Spa for a future booking when I touch down in a few of months. Can’t wait! ☺️

The spa itself is beautiful. Gorgeous interior design and truly makes you feel at home in Arizona. The only non-coed amenity was the steam room which I was not expecting. You have to pay extra for the salt room which is so pointless in my opinion. Plus, most of the amenities are outside so unless it’s good weather, you can’t fully enjoy it. My spa day started off good until came the time of my appointment. The masseuse didn’t even work on my feet or arms even though I booked a FULL body massage. I also requested a deep tissue, which I didn’t receive even though I asked her twice to go deeper during the massage. She seemed annoyed that I was her last appointment and rushed me out of the room when my appointment was done. Then when I went to go check out, the girls up front were so rude and unwelcoming. I stood there for a solid 5 minutes before either one of them greeted me or looked up from their computers. I understand it’s the end of the night, but maybe don’t have such late appointments if it’s such an inconvenience to your staff? I was going to change my gratuity from 20% to 18% cause I didn’t feel like the masseuse earned the full 20%, but before I could even change it they printed out my receipt and told me I was all set. I didn’t even sign the paper yet??? This staff could use some proper training on customer service especially at such a high end hotel. Disappointed to say the least. There’s plenty of better spas in the area, don’t waste your time.

Throughly enjoyed our visit to Tierra Luna. This is a complete redesign and the outdoor space was done impeccably. Special thanks to Leo and Lisa who went above and beyond to elevate our experience!

We had the strangest experience here, opposite of luxury. I kept saying to my husband, who brought me as a gift, that the employees must hate their jobs because the vibe was v strange. Unlike other spas that cater to comfort, Tierra Luna seemed consciously unwelcoming (there's tea but no cups to put it in, for example). Far from catering to sensory experience, TL seemed to have a "toughen up" approach: the steam room in the women's locker room smelled bad. The water slides and tennis courts are loud and next to the spa "meditation" lawn. There are no hooks inside the shower stalls, just rt outside. The lockers themselves are half the size they need to be and my badge didn't work to lock or unlock mine... but my neighbor's did!? The decor is Western like and there are horsehair pillows or burlap in the shared lounge. Stranger and stranger for a spa experience, and I won't get into staff behavior (some of it seemed like fireable offenses). In any event, the weirdest part was they charged my husband for a second day of service two week later. When he called they said he'd made a 2nd reservation (though we received no confirmation or reminders as with the original), told him they'd call back and never did. We made numerous calls to the spa and management and never heard from them again. Reluctant to criticize because the spa day was a very thoughtful gift, but we will not return. I'd suggest one of many better spas in the Phoenix area. I hope the Biltmore can get this worked out.

What a beautifully renovated and gorgeous spa! A little desert oasis. I had the quartz massage and it was wonderful. I’m a spa lover and wasn’t sure how I would feel about this one. The website and other reviews don’t do it justice—lots of amenities and a beautiful property. Super clean, loved it.

One of the best Spa’s in the US.
