This is my second time getting a haircut from this salon. The first time I visited was during summer. Julie did my hair on both visits. She is very nice, warm and accomodating. Highly recommending Julie and her expertise!

Came here to gives 5 stars for julie. I'm visiting my friend and next day had a flight for my vacation searching hair cut place in 1 days and this place shown up. Julie you had my heart at first sight like wowwww this is the best layer cut I never had. I need her to own the salon in MA, then I can see her everytime I need hair cut😄

Casual salon with a friendly staff. I was nervous about trying a new stylist but Julie was open and explained to me her recommendation while also putting in mind what I wanted. I’m very picky about my hair and have been traveling to Houston for years to see the same stylist. So happy I finally found someone local that I trust. This is my new salon!

This was my first time going to a salon since I moved to Chicago from Detroit around 4 months ago and I was very nervous. I called and asked if they did walk ins, and they said yes come in an hour! I got a shampoo/condish, haircut, and blowout. I gave my stylist Julie a brief description of what I wanted, a trim with layers and more emphasis on my curtain bangs, and it’s the BEST haircut i’ve ever gotten in my LIFE! She gave me exactly what I envisioned when other places never could. I’m so happy and Julie was so kind and did the most amazing job. Also the lowest prices i’ve seen in years!! I’ll be coming back for sure!

I out out 9 months to grow my hair out . I come in here and ask for a low taper to end up with some mullet looking fade that is all he way up past the high point. Completely ruined my hair and 9 months of effort to grow. Unbelievable this is not a low taper he didn't even know how to do taper cuts and just threw some weird cut on my hair. Completely ruined 9 months of effort I put to grow my hair. Never coming back or do I recommend low tapers here I'm sure they do other good cuts but the service I received was very unsatisfying

I made an appointment for 3 PM and I was expecting to get a haircut at that time, They told me to sit down and they’re just gonna let me know if it’s my turn. Like I don’t mind waiting for 10 minutes but 20 Min had passed so I asked how much longer because I have somewhere to go at 4 PM and They told me 20 minutes. So I left, I wish they had told me sooner that they cannot do it Or if they are fully booked. Because I made an appointment for a reason.

I’ve been going to see Julie here for over a year now. She is the only person I will trust with my hair. Julie always gives the best shampoos and cuts my hair exactly as I ask! Every time I leave the salon, people compliment her work. Without Julie, my hair would not feel or look healthy.

I’ve gone here many times for a men’s haircut and occasionally highlights. Julie cuts my hair and is super kind and receptive of my opinions / what I want. Ken did my highlights and they turned out fantastic. I wanted to change up my hair recently but still had some highlights, both Julie and Ken talked to me about what’s possible to do / what they recommended. Even though they could have charged me money to attempt what I wanted, they told me it wouldn’t come out to be what I wanted and advised me alternatives, which saved me money. They’re very realistic on what can be done, and try to do your hair right. I highly recommend Tina Beauty Salon - The stylists are so kind and are there to make people look good & not rushing to make money!

I have been going to Julie only but I can tell everybody else is just as good. Julie is amazing though! Very detail oriented and super sweet! Recently got a straight perm, some of my hair broke at the root but I think it’s because my hair was too vulnerable and weak, it’s not her fault. She made sure every strand was perfectly straight and trimmed evenly. I have gotten balayage/highlight from her before and it was also great, got many compliments. I loved the way she styled my hair back then too. I’ll definitely keep coming to her.

Julie possesses a knack for listening. She always exceeds what I look for. What makes me trust her so much is that she would not do my crazy requirements and honestly consult me with way much better ideas, which turn out to be perfect. She’s adaptable to new trends and updates my look just right. Talking to Julie is so relaxing. I believe she has a full package of an A++ cosmetologist.

Julie was able to squeeze me in without an appointment and gave me the best haircut i’ve ever had. My hair has been super easy to style and i’ve gotten so many compliments on it and this is coming from a former hairstylist. Julie really knows what she’s doing and I highly recommended her!

Overall, I had a very satisfying experience. I came in with strawberry blonde hair and left with this ombré brownish color. The service was fast and it was an inviting environment. The staff is super friendly and nice. Highly recommend if you’re around the area :)
