Tessa is hands down the best in the biz! I’ve been going to her for years and she’s consistently been giving me the best haircuts I’ve ever gotten in my life. I even got all my buddies to go to her too and they agree! If you want the best go to Tess!!

Hidden gem in the city ! I made an appt here with Tessa since my stylist moved out of the city. Tessa gave me an amazing cut and she is an absolute pleasure to talk to. I am very picky with the specifics and she really followed through the detail.

It’s been just over a year that Tina has been my hair stylist, and my experience with her today reminded me once again why I keep coming back. She’s a consummate professional who knows what she’s doing! Always. Whenever I have questions about something new (or something we’ve been doing for ages), she answers in a way I can fully understand and appreciate. Getting a great haircut is the minimum requirement for me. All of the other things provided by her salon (e.g., scalp massage, hot towel, etc.) make all the difference. It’s never an imposition to my day to go to my appointments. Tina is great! Recommend 5/5!! ✨💇🏻

As a man who has long endured a wide breadth of inconsistent haircuts - some decent, many quite bad - I am pleased to share without reservation, that the illustrious Tina Nikolle & Tessa always deliver the greatest cut of my life…and they will do the same for you. Prepare to look outstanding as you strut down 45th… If you still remain on the fence despite the aforementioned, please know my girlfriend also shares this opinion (and that bar is high!). Don’t deliberate anymore, there is no need. Full transparency, I’ve withheld this review out of selfishness. But I can no longer do a disservice to those wandering aimlessly into Barber Shops, $200 salon appointments, etc only to leave disappointed. Unwavering quality & styling advice you’d never imagine at affordable rates. And no shortage of good conversation w/ Tina…this is the best & only choice if you are a man in Manhattan.

Tina has been making me look as good as possible for the last 15 years. It's even better now that she has her own place. Super clean, great service, even better haircuts. With a complimentary beer if you want! Truly I can't recommend Tina enough. I've referred a bunch of friends and colleagues to her over the years and they've all raved about their haircut. Excellent service from Tina. She was very open to all my questions and concerns about how my long hair care routine looked and about her recommendations before we started. The care she took in explanation and then the cut itself was wonderful. I’m looking forward to my next appointment in a few months!

Tess is undoubtedly one of the best hair stylist in NYC. When I first moved to the city I went around to every high-end men's salon you could find looking for someone that could achieve what I was looking for. Finally, I came across Tess and she knew what to do right away - I haven't looked back since. She's now with Tina at their charming little salon and it's an elite experience. There's a full bar available as you walk in, a great shampoo and head massage experience from Kenya, and a top-notch chop as always.
