Today was my first time at this salon. I was so lucky to get Yukari to do my highlights. She’s so pleasant to talk to and she gave me the best hair wash (massage) I’ve ever had. The wash basin was also so comfortable, and when is that ever the case?? She listened to me and gave me the natural look I was hoping for.

If you're looking for an affordable head spa experience, this is the place to check out. I absolutely love coming here every few months or so to get a scalp rejuvenation. They are very thorough and you get to see the before/after. Highly recommend checking this salon out. You won't be disappointed.

Yukari is amazing! What used to take 4 hours to color my hair now takes just 2, thanks to her incredible color science expertise. I also appreciate her care for my health—she said she wants to ensure chemicals don’t stay on my scalp longer than necessary.

Had no idea what to expect with exception to what I saw online. Booked with Hazuki for the headspa with cindituoning treatment and WOW is all I can say. From the moment I walked in to the time I left - GREAT experience. So very relaxing and worth every dime. And I LOVED my blowout. Highly recommend Hazuki, she did an amazing job and I WILL be back. One thing - if you are looking for a serene, quiet environment, this isnt the spa for you. It is a small space and there are others around you. But the staff were kind, really good and I had a great experience. Thank you Hazuki!

Had an amazing experience. Misaki gave an incredible head massage. The head spa is a must try for everyone. It was so relaxing. My scalp feels super clean and healthy. Misaki also styled my hair beautifully. Very happy with my experience here.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. These reviews must be from friends and family because the customer service here is horrendous! I was charged a no-show fee for an appointment that was never confirmed! I reached out via phone, e-mail, text (and even received read receipts) several hours before the appointment request. I got no replies yet was charged a $62.50 no-show fee!! I finally got a response 1.5 days later, after I sent in a complaint because I noticed that my appointment was miraculously confirmed (last minute) in a way which didn't send me an e-mail alert, likely so they could charge the no-show fee! It's like they purposely don't confirm or respond so you could be charged a fee and they don't have to perform the service. Anyway, the response text said they may be able to apply the no-show fee to a future appointment BUT when I asked for availabilities, I received no replies at all. It's been a week now. I use the same booking app at other beauty related places. It's not the app that's the issue, it's the terrible customer service!

Had a great experience here, staff was so friendly and accommodating. Got a 30 min head spa which was very affordable and done by Toki Saito. He had great technique and was very professional and friendly. Felt like I was getting pampered!

I had a wonderful HeadSpa with Yukari. She was so lovely and nice and made the experience perfect. The massages wow and my head felt so fresh and clean afterwards. My dog was also treated heavenly 💕 Def recommend- get a headspa!

I stopped by here for a scalp treatment/head massage and it was incredible. Shino was so kind! She helped me to understand the health of my scalp and the treatment felt amazing! I’m amazed at how much healthier my hair looks. Will definitely be returning!

Just came from an appointment for the head spa treatment that I saw on TikTok. While it all felt great, the photos of the salon that are pictured IS NOT the location at 14th street. The location is dingy and a little worn, and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a bit. Again, felt nice, but not the experience I was hoping for - and overpriced for what was done.

My mom and I got head spas from Grace and Shino. It was a wonderful experience! It was our first time doing a head spa and we will definitely be returning on our next visit to NYC. Everyone working there was very nice and it was a lowkey and relaxing experience.

Visited this location with a friend yesterday as a birthday gift! My hair stylist was Shaina and she was friendly. The salon was clean and nicely decorated. My friend and I both scheduled scalp treatments. In the beginning they show you a camera of your scalp before they start, which was a cool touch. They put a bunch of oils on my scalp and massaged my hair, it was so nice! When they took us to the wash station they massaged our hair again with so many shampoos. It was an overall great experience. The only weird thing was that at the end, my stylist gave me a blowdryer to blow-dry my own hair. I was super confused because we did select "self dry" but I have never had to blow dry my own hair in any hair salon I've ever been to, even without getting a "blowout". I assumed that my stylist had a next client and therefore I didn't mind doing it myself (and she didn't offer to blow dry it for me) but she was just having a full blown conversation with her co-worker and it was a super strange ending.

I got a 60 minute Head Spa with conditioning treatment + quick dry here with Yukari and I had a wonderful experience. I will start by saying that many videos/tiktoks online depict Head Spa taking place in a private room or in absolute quiet, and as you may guess, this was not the case in such a small salon-- However, that did little to affect how relaxing and gentle Yukari was with my treatment. I found myself drifting to sleep even with the surrounding noise which mainly consisted of regular conversation between the other clients and their hair dressers. I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone who is sensitive to loud spaces, and just in general temper your expectations! At this particular location your Head Spa will not look like at ASMR video, lol. But I want to stress that I gave 5 stars for a reason! Not only was the actual massage and treatment very gentle and incredibly relaxing, my hair was extremely shiny and soft after just a quick dry. (I do recommend adding on the 15$ blow dry if you are going in the winter like me!) I suffer from frequent headaches and I had instant relief. The treatment is also much more affordable compared to other spas and salons in the area which charge around 300$... in total, I spent about half of that. I highly recommend this salon!! :) Also if Yukari is reading, It was wonderful to meet and chat with you! Thank you so much for your hard work!

This review is for the downtown location and I wish this was 3.5: The head/ scalp massage was wonderful. The products seemed great and my hair was very soft when I was done. But, for $110 (plus tip), I was surprised there wasn't much of an experience. You're in a normal hair styling chair, and it just starts with a very fast view of the scalp, then some oil or something is applied and you're rubbed (which was great). Then to a normal hair wash chair, and then hair washing, additional massage, and then 10 mins of sitting, it's all washed out and done. Maybe I didn't understand what I was paying for, but for $100, I expected something a little more...maybe a hand massage while I sat with my hair in the heat thing. The massage was fantastic and that's why I rounded up.

Grace gave my long over due COVID long hair a trim last year, and my hair looked fresh and newly cut for the 9 months following, when I had my next hair appointment. A month and a half ago I decided to try the Step Bone Cut with Tomoko, and it was so worth it. My hair feels light and full, which is what I had asked for, and people are still asking me if I get it touched up all the time. I'm so happy with my hair and that it looks new and fresh every day. I can't wait to do another head spa and when my hair grows out again, to have this salon do their magic.

I just had the 50 minute head spa experience with Masaki yesterday. It was heavenly! I left with my head literally feeling 10 pounds lighter. Great massage and my hair and scalp felt so clean afterwards. This is something I would definitely do again. Highly recommend!

My cousin and I were visiting from out of town and thought we would check them out. The head spa done by Grace and Yukari was definitely a highlight of our trip! A great/relaxing experience overall which left our scalps feeling super light. We hope to be back soon - thank you!!

Very, very odd experience with this salon. I booked the appointment and it was confirmed, but six days before the appointment Toki messaged me saying he was feeling sick and would not be keeping the appointment - yes, six days out. No offer to reschedule and no response when I inquired about it. I’ve never experienced this before. YMMV.
