I've gotten the best haircut I've ever had here, in the entire Triangle area! Tony is a truly professional stylist. He cut my hair with great care and precision, and really listened to what I wanted.

I went to get a haircut today, and it was really disappointing. It felt like I encountered a novice.the technique was extremely slow, and the haircut itself turned out to be quite sad. I would have been better off not getting it cut at all. If you do decide to go there, I would recommend avoiding the girl with glasses. It really wasted my time and money.

I went here on a whim because I badly needed a hair cut and they had availability. I kind of regret going here. Although my stylist seemed knowledgeable, they weren't friendly and left me with a wildly uneven cut where the bottom-most layer was super super long. It's fine if I keep my hair down but as soon as I tie it up it looks awful because there's just this one super long lock. I almost lobbed it off myself but I just had a baby and I don't have the bandwidth right now with everything on my plate. Wish I'd gone somewhere else with the spare precious hour I had.

It was my first time at Tony Hair Salon and it went great! Andy took care of me and did a fantastic job cutting my hair. I didn't have any particular need other than asking him to cut it shorter because it's been so hot. He did a great job making sure that the hairstyle I was looking for fit my face and frame. He also layered it so well! I had a specific want for my bangs and showed Andy a few inspirations. He chose the one that suited my hair/face the best. I highly recommend coming with a few photos in mind so that the styliest can work with you on finding the best option that works between you and them!

I’m not typically one to leave reviews, but the way that I have consistently gotten the best haircuts here greatly incentivizes me to do so. I’ve returned here 3 times since January because I swear Tom is magic. He has made my hair exactly like the picture I show him every single time. I’ll typically be in and out within 30-40 minutes, and that includes the wash, cut, and dry/style. I’d highly recommend this salon for a hair cut, especially with Tom!

Pathetic I walk in and they tell me they did not book my appointment with Tony since last week despite my calling them and they confirmed it Apparently last week One of the workers randomly picked up the phone and said I would be with Tony Tony is in Puerto Rico!! What the hell How unprofessional to waste my entire day I had to go to an event today after my cut and color

great place to go for people with asian hair! i’ve been going to tony’s for two years now, i like getting cuts from Leo. i like the way that they do layers, i think it looks very natural for asian hair. super straightforward experience every time, just call ahead for an appointment, check in, wash, cut, dry/style, and pay. most of the stylists speak chinese, but english is fine as well

Andy, the hairstylist, knows how to style and cut the hair so that it fits my head well, without me having to give him and instructions or sample photos, other than “you can do whatever you see fit”. I was fully aware that I would be taking a risk there by not being specific on what I want, but the outcome is so delightful that I feel like I should take a photo of myself as a future reference, so that I can get a new style non-repetitively for at least three times in a row. For 30 dollar base price (I paid 30% in tip because they do deserve it), you get a full service that includes washing your hair with shampoo (in contrast to spraying water on it), great hair cut, and another wash afterward and some blow dry with styling. One thing that I do want to point out for future reference though, is that one should firstly check with them and see if their A/C is working xD. I would have wanted to give a six star review, if that was not broken at my first visit… But I guess now I do not have to struggle with myself for not being able to give a six star rating. XD

I live in Smithfield, which is 45 minutes away from here. My son had hair down to his shoulders because he had so many bad haircuts in my area where I live. He was afraid of getting another haircut because fear or them not doing it correctly. The style my son wanted was a haircut that would need scissors, not a pair of clippers and no one around here apparently knows how to actually give a good scissor cut. Then I saw Tony Hair Salon, and saw all the great review pictures. I said this place knows how to give a good salon cut for men in the style my son wants. The drive was so worth it! Tony cut my son's hair and did an AMAZING job. You can tell that they all really take their time and know what they are doing here. Tony was very caring and thorough and my son was so happy for the first time after a hair cut. He said now he doesn't want to go anywhere but here!. The prices were very affordable, the music was very beautiful and the place was clean ❤️. We will be coming back!

This store is clean and tidy, and the environment feels very comfortable. I get my hair cut and dyed here. They can accurately dye my hair to the color I want. This is a perfect hair salon for me. I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Worst haircut I've ever had. I asked for a straight cut, even showing examples of non layered hair, and to frame my face. He added layers which I absolutely did not want nor ask for and my hair is so uneven on both sides and is not symmetrical at all. I read reviews before choosing this place and thought I'd be in good hands but this is the worst haircut I've ever had. And when I contacted them to make it right, they offered for me to come back in and let him "fix it"! There shouldn't be anything that NEEDS to be fixed but given that there is, I'd never let the person who screwed it up to begin with touch my hair again! He'd have to cut it even shorter to even it out and it's already shorter than what I asked for. And to add insult to injury, my hair grows incredibly slow so I'm stuck with the lawnmower hack job for months until it grows out long enough for someone else to fix. Cannot believe I paid for this cut. But they curled and styled it before I was rushed out so I didn't notice how awful it was until I got home and took a shower. Don't waste your money here and be humiliated with a cut that looks like a 13 year old did with kitchen scissors.

There are some barbers in here that don't know how to cut hair well and they can't communicate well. Messed up my haircut that I've been growing for years like it looks horrible. Will have to go to another place to get it fixed... The lines were not even straight and they don't know how to blend hair or even knew what that meant. it's supposed to be round above the ears they made my looks like a triangle. They just used one number for the whole cut.

It is so difficult to find a good quality salon that knows how to manage Asian hair. I always get so nervous when I go to a new salon because I have had stylists butcher my hair or I end up paying $100+ for less than mediocre haircuts. I was so happy with my haircut here. They got me in the same day I called, shampooed/conditioned, and gave me a blowout - all for $45! Best haircut I have had in years.

My daughter recommended this salon after her great experience. The salon is calming and bright, with a very pleasant staff. Andy understood what I was looking for and gave me a great cut. I highly recommend it.

I had a haircut on Wednesday with Tom for the first time at this salon. He was very attentive during my experience- though it was the shortest haircut, timewise, I have ever experienced. The shampoo/ conditioner was very quick, but thorough. Tom cut my hair just like the picture I wanted, but it was not styled like the picture- no biggie as I do hair and was able to replicate the picture when I got home. I wish Tom gave me a product recommendation when we made a comment about how frizzy my hair was but, oh well. Tom had, what seemed to be, a stylist in training wash and blow dry my hair, which was fine but this trainee really pulled my hair during the blowout but Tom corrected it and used it as a learning experience. I'm a teacher, so I was appreciative for the learning experience, but wish I was told I was going to be worked on by two different people because the style was not as I pictured/ what I wanted (the cut was, just not the blowout/ style)- plus was charged an experienced stylist's rate. The entire appointment from when I walked in the door to when I paid and left was under 30 minutes, including shampoo/ condition, consultation, cut, blowout, and checking out. It cost $45 in total not including tip. I'll definitely go back, but will be more specific in my request for styling.

7 out of 5 stars! Great salon with amazing customer service. Was super late for an appointment on a weekend but still fitted me in since I drove in from 1.5 hours away. Tony was my hair dresser and comes highly recommended for a reason as he was both knowledgeable and skilled. Offers a generous military discount as an added bonus.

They make you feel comfortable, they will talk to you during the whole process. Making sure you are comfortable with what they are doing. I like that they want you to be happy with the results. This is my second time & I really feel excited I have found this salon ! Thank you

This is the best Hair Salon I've seen so far & been to many- the quality of hair cut, attention to detail & time they spend on you without rushing you is like no place else. If you want good quality hair cut ..this is the place to be..I've never been disappointed. Tony & Kai are the best!!
