Moved to Seattle less than a year ago and have been looking for someone to handle my extension move up/maintenance and eventually take over my color (after your friend does it at her salon in FL for 25 years, it's scary to change). Shelby was so pleasant and fun to talk to and so fast and accurate with my weft move up! I would totally trust her with my color and style. After my extensions were placed she threw in some loose curls and I was on my way. Adorable space and ample street parking!

I’m so glad I found Shelby & Jakob. They are both so talented & passionate about their work. I’ve been getting my extensions done with Shelby for around 3 years now & she always does an exceptional job!

Jakob is the best! I moved to Washington and was lucky to find such a great stylist. He takes his time on every client, pays close attention to what they’re asking for, and creates a safe & welcoming space for everyone. Getting your hair done with him feels like you’re hanging out with a friend! 1000/10 would recommend him for all your hair needs!

I recently moved to Seattle and am so happy to have found Top Knot. Jakob made the time fly by with good conversation and my hair looks amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

They were very nice. However, I know a great blowout when I get one and this was not great. Just blasting the hair dryer at my hair with no roundbrush is not a blowout. There was no product for a smooth and glossy finish. Two people doing the waves in my hair and going opposite directions! Bangs were a mess. The waves were gone by the time I got home. I had to get a proper blowout as soon as I got to New York. This building must have bad karma because this is the 2nd horrible service I received in this building within 2 days. I believe in being honest about reviews and it saddens me not being able to give them a great rating. Total waste of my money.

What a fantastic experience! Jakob was so kind and so skilled - he gave me great haircut. Hands down the best haircut I have had in the past three years. He listened to exactly what I wanted, and through out the process we checked in to make sure length and style were what I envisioned. So happy with the end product. I will be back!

This was my first visit to Top Knot and it is my go to from now on. Shelby was welcoming and friendly. She asked questions and listened to what I wanted from my haircut. She clarified with additional questions about length so I trusted that she heard what I said. We have all experienced disastrous haircuts when stylists don't listen, I was so happy with my cut. She also showed my how to style my hair and products to try to achieve the look I wanted. I texted my 25 year old daughter a picture and she was like "dang mom...you look good!" As for conversation, it was so great. I felt connected to her very quickly. If the connection is missing with a stylist it can feel like a long time in the chair, but my hour flew by and just like that I was looking fantastic! Thank you so much Shelby! As a public service, I will say that the studio is on the third floor of the building, I ordinarily would not care, but at this moment in my life, I am on crutches and made the trek up, so glad I did!

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Shelby and she was absolutely amazing. She made me feel valued and did an amazing job with my hair extensions. I loved how cute and homey their salon was, it was clean, comfortable and easy to find. I would recommend Shelby 100 times over. Jacob was also super kind and made sure to talk with me while I was between services as well! CHECK THEM OUT and get to feeling like a whole new person ♡

Shelby and Jacob are so awesome, so sweet, and AMAZING at what they do! I have curly hair and it is hard to find a place that knows how to work with it, so it was refreshing to find some very talented people who know what they are doing. They were quick and efficient and I left a very happy client. Can’t wait for my next visit!

Shelby and Jacob are the BEST at hair extensions/ matching extension color to your hair and application in Seattle! Their salon in Queen Anne is so adorable and in a very convenient location. They take the time to explain the process and understand your needs. I cannot recommend them enough!

Top Knot is seriously the best!! Shelby has been doing my color and extensions since I started getting extensions and am never disappointed! She has great taste and recommendations and wouldn’t trust my hair to anyone else but Top Knot! You cannot go wrong with these two!

Shelby and Jakob are legitimately the only people I trust with my hair. Besides being incredible at their jobs, they are incredible people, they are always on time, they are so fun to talk to while I’m in the chair and honestly, they are just the best with color, cuts and extensions. I LOVE their new location - last time I was there I got to have a glass of wine on their rooftop patio while my color processed. Top to bottom, Top Knot is an absolute dream. Highly recommend!
