Torres opened up in my neighborhood and I was looking for a new hair place so I decided to try it. I’m so so happy with how Monica did my hair!! The color is perfect for me and I also love how she cut and styled my bangs. I’ve been getting so many compliments and am so grateful that she did such a great job. Also, my hair feels so healthy since getting it done. Usually it’s the opposite- it often feels dry after but my hair feels more conditioned and healthy. Highly recommend!! THANK YOU Monica!

I’ve been searching for a new hairstylist and I saw Torres Hair Design being built in my neighborhood. The salon looked gorgeous, and so I gave them a try this week. The salon itself was so warm, welcoming and stylish, I really liked the vibes. I had an appointment with a cut and color with Maribel. She listened to what I wanted for my hair and totally delivered. I got a low light to break up my flat and monotone blond highlights and she added some foils near my face and some hand painted highlights around the sides and back of my head. It’s exactly how I hoped it would look, a healthy dimensional blonde/“bronde” look that blends with my natural light brown hair. The cut is so flattering, she left my hair feeling healthy and refreshed while keeping my length. The blowout was awesome and honestly still looked good the next morning when I woke up. Maribel was super sweet as well! I’m so happy with my hair and also happy to find such an excellent and luxury salon experience in my neighborhood!

My stylist was super friendly and gave me exactly what I asked for. She booked me last minute, as I was out of town and had some time to kill, and I was so thankful she squeezed me in on a busy Saturday! If I lived in Austin, I'd definitely make her my regular stylist - excellent experience.

This is legitimately the first time I have left the hair salon and not regretted my decision. Risa did an absolutely amazing job on my hair, she listened to what I wanted and took the time to learn my hair and strategize how she was going to cut it. I’m so in love with my hair, and will 100% be back in her chair. I almost didn’t want to post a review so I can gate keep her, but she deserves all of the shout outs! I feel so beautiful 🥹 THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🩷

Got my hair cut for the first time in almost 2 years by Melissa (I had 3ft+ of hair) and I'm super happy, probably the first time in a while that I actually love my haircut right away plus when she washes your hair it's like a massage.. I will be back, thank you!

I have been coming to this salon for many years now dating back when it was a barbershop as well. Even with the change of ownership it continues to be amazing. I have long hair and really don't trust to many stylist cutting my hair. I have been fortunate enough to find this place and can trust all of the lady's working there, especially owner- Maribel and Risa who us excellent with color and blowouts as well as makeup and updos. So if looking for a styles to do your wedding party or prom etc. She's the one you want. They do walk ins but would recommend calling first or making appointment either by phone or website.

Maribel does amazing, she cut and styled mine and my daughters hair. My daughter needed a chop for school and it came out so good. Better than I expected. My hair came out great as well. We’re happy, we will be back.

Omg this is the best place for a women’s hair cut I was looking for a place for my mom hair cut and search many places every place was app only and wouldn’t even let u in and talk to some one and I found Torres hair design and my mom is very picky on her hair went in for a walk in and Monica a hair designer with a awesome smile and great attitude and very welcoming at entering the salon took my mom in and really new what kind of hair cut she wanted and my mom was very happy and a great smile when we left there thumbs up to this place and the hair designer there very clean and awesome place great waiting chairs and great vibes hope lots of people find this place as we did

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I did Brazilian blowout for 250 dollars which is supposed to last for 3 months.But after 1week it was completely gone and did no difference in my hair. I asked if they can do anything to fix it and their answer was that “I have to pay back again in order to fix it”.I asked if I can at least get a haircut but they are not ready to do anything without any fees for the mistake they made. COMPLETE GOT SCAMMED AND LOST 250 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING!! Don’t recommend at all!

I was in Austin for my brothers wedding and really in need of a haircut. I thought I’d take the chance and try out Torres salon based only off of reviews. Risa did not disappoint! I was able to quickly and easily book an appointment online. Risa was very friendly and made real conversation like an old friend despite having just met. She also gave me some great tips for general upkeep to keep my hair healthy. Highly recommend!

I’ve noticed in Austin that salons are either really over priced for cuts and good, or have reasonable-low prices and are terrible. But, I think this place is good + reasonable prices. Got a simple haircut and blowout from Maribel. The salon is really cute and good quality.
