This wonderful store is worth a visit by anyone who enjoys browsing through a multitude of products from A thru Z. Men, women, and babies will find items that will make their spirit sing with wonder.

Decent selection, staff watches you like you are going to steal something and store staff walk up to act like they’re helping but short with me and more focused on theft… kinda disheartening. I skipped going to Ulta for this place, I remember shopping here in my 20s . I get that crime is up but good luck with business hawking the only person in the store! Shout out to the beautiful lady at the register who rang me up, she was the only person who treated me with genuine kindness &respect!Save yourself and go to Ulta or shop online!

Just stopped by today, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and they had a lot of different products. Im a guy, so I don't really know a whole lot about skin care, but the staff took the time answering all my questions and recommending products and letting me try samples. I'll definitely be coming back!

I'm a long-time customer and never had an incident until today. I went to make a purchase, and my items came with a decorative carrier. When I got to the register, the salesperson questioned her coworker as to whether my items actually came with the carrier. Neither one was sure, and they proceeded to look for a supervisor the entire time I was standing there. Instead of asking me where I found these items, they just ignored me. While they made no direct accusation towards me, their behavior made me feel as if I was trying to steal something. So, I asked the cashier. Alex, what her coworkers' name was, and she responded pointedly, "Why do you need to know?" At this point, I went from feeling uncomfortable to being angry and annoyed at the entire situation. When the other salesperson returned, I asked what the problem was? She responded dismissively. Before I left, I located the manager and let her know what had just happened. At this point, the manager simply said I'm sorry she made you feel insulted." I stated to her that this salesperson needs to learn where thr products are in the store rather than implying that a customer is trying to steal something. These salespeople/cashiers need additional customer service and inventory training.

Outstanding customer service. I have had many great transactions with TBE, but most recently, I received the wrong product. After notifying them about the problem, I received super fast communications, and two days later, I received my item. Mistakes happen, but I judge a company on how they handle mistakes, and this company is top-notch.

Amazing store and salon. Lots of great skilled hair stylists and so many hair and skin and home products to choose from. Love all the decor and gift ideas I always leave with a present for someone special every time I come here. They do events and sales often too!

Bought some detangler. The pumps didn't work so I returned it. Their policy is OK we'll take back our merchandise that doesn't work but we're keeping your money. I didn't return it because I changed my mind. I returned it because it didn't work. Never spending another dime at Total Beauty. Their customer service does not deserve my business.

Decided NOT to visit this place not so much based on reviews more so because of the responses by management or staff. Most are very dismissive and I can’t imagine that numerous customers who have mentioned racial profiling, are “flat out incorrect”. Very unprofessional and I will never bring my business here.

I’ve been going to total beauty on and off since the 90s. They always have a wide selection of things. Their staff used to be really helpful and really nice and would smile and greet you. They used to take the time and walk you around and ask you questions about what you need. Now I noticed the last few years you walk in the security guard always greeted me. Everybody else ignored me. This visit I looked around for about a half an hour and this woman that worked there walked up and she did ask if she could help me and I told her what I was looking for And she kept backing up while I was talking to her. She finally did show me two or three perfumes and then she kept backing up. Very weird! So since those three she showed me weren’t exactly what I wanted and I did describe what I wanted. I guess she gave up and and she ended the conversation and walked off. There’s a whole wall of perfumes she didn’t even show me. There was other employees in the beauty area having conversations amongst themselves completely ignoring me. I felt very uncomfortable in there the last few times I went. I won’t be going back. Sadly, because they do have great things but no thanks.

The workers there give me the creep. I never feel good about going there. The sales clerk asked for my phone number which I thought it was totally unnecessary. After I gave it to her, she said that it was not the “right “ number!! Come on!!!

A bit disappointing I ordered two items I received a call from Trina advising that the item was on back order. I advised I’d be okay to wait so both items can be shipped together. I received only one item and a message thru the Shop app that one of my items would be refunded. I called and was advised the item was not received in the shipment Trina was waiting for. I told her I wish I would have known that as I would have canceled the entire order because the shipping was almost as much as the product. I would have never ordered an item and paid that much in shipping. I received a call back that I would be refunded half of the shipping price which was awesome. Unfortunately, I was never refunded half of the shipping price. ********* Update to my original review Thank you to the owner of Total Beauty Experience for refunding half the shipping cost as promised, it is much appreciated. I also received a message from Trina thanking me for the bad review and telling me that she did do her job. I don’t know if Trina is the owner or not but, I didn’t leave a bad review, nor did I say she didn’t do her job, I just said I was disappointed that I didn’t receive the refund as promised. I don’t appreciate receiving a message being reprimanded for leave a review about my experience.

I ordered some shampoo/body wash from Total Beauty Experience for the first time and I had a great customer service experience. My package did come ruined due to the post office not handling the package with care. When I messaged Total Beauty Experience back to let them know what happened to my order. Trina immediately got back to me within the hour to resolve my damaged products. She sent me new replacement product and took no time to be delivered again. I will absolutely order from Total Beauty Experience in the future! Thanks Trina for all your help resolving my order!

They give off racist vibes. Went in for something with mom and bf, one worker came up to ask if I needed anything. I said no, and the lady continued to go “up and down the aisle” but just stare at us. Like come on they aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they are profiling every POC that enter.

0 stars I went in the store to purchase a comb and had to use the restroom im pregnant. The woman told me no then i saw someone come from a bathroom and still told me no. When you're running a whole nail and hair salon having no bathroom makes no sense. Continuing to follow me around the store waiting at the door when the cash register is empty and I'm trying to purchase an item. VERY DISCRIMINATORY would not recommend store to anyone there's way better places to go to.

This place racially profiles people of color. Never in my life have I experienced a sales associate follow me aisle to aisle like I have at Total Beauty Experience in Arden-Arcade. One of their employees pretended to fix shelves that were already perfect while following me. To make matters worst, I couldn’t even fully walk in the store before the woman at the cash register attempted to discourage me from even coming in the store by telling me they didn’t have the products that I would be looking for because they only have “professional products”. She made this judgement without knowing anything about me. After reading the other reviews from women who have had this similar experiences there is a common theme here. Please stop racially profiling people of color this is unacceptable. *** The owner recently responded to my review (which can be seen below) and instead of reaching out to gain more information regarding my experience to improve customer service like most upstanding business owners he or she made false accusations. I was accused of yelling and having “bad behavior” neither of which are true. Never have I experienced a business owner lie on me rather than address the actual issues at hand. From reading the other reviews this is the typical way how this business owner responds to any bad review. The owner makes accusations that attacks the reviewer’s character and takes no accountability for wrong doing. This is not an isolated incident and if this is the behavior that the owner displays after multiple customers of color have experienced racial profiling then we clearly cannot expect much more from the employees. It’s unclear what kind of training they are getting and if they are being told to treat people of color in this manner. You cannot say you wholeheartedly welcome everyone but then treat certain people like they are less than welcome.
