I go here to get a massage a couple times a year and usually I have nothing but a pleasant, relaxing experience. However, I just visited yesterday and had a pretty uncomfortable experience. I got my massage from Shelly, and although the massage itself was nice, the conversation afterwards left me feeling ashamed and bad about myself. Shelly basically fat shamed me and told me I need to workout. Something I’ve been struggling with ALOT this past year. I don’t come to get a massage to get health and weight loss advice, I come to relax and unwind. You’re not a doctor or a personal trainer, don’t act like one.

I had received a pretty good massage from the new location about two months ago so my wife and I decided to get a gift card for my mother in law. We showed up to the new location and it was strangely closed for “electrical upgrades”. I find this to be strange because they just opened this location. We then called the phone number to find out where they are and I couldn’t understand the person talking because I couldn’t hear her. She finally spoke loud enough to for me to get the address. When we got there the lights were off and no one greeted us when we opened the door. After we started at someone for awhile they finally asked if they could help us. Then we found out they have my card on file which I never gave permission to do. Then they couldn’t fill out the gift card the correct way. In the area where a cost of the massage is suppose to be she wrote” the amount of a 60 minute Swedish massage”. I still couldn’t understand the girl when we got there. I had to ask her to speak louder. The the iPad that they use for scheduling massages and getting payment RAN OUT OF BATTERY!!! There was a charger right there it should have been plugged in too. I just don’t get customer service and employees these days. Horrible customer service and experience. No reason to come to this place.

I visited Total Bliss today and was completely blown away by the service! Hannah, Tiffany, and Ashley were super friendly and easy to talk to! The lobby area was VERY inviting, and relaxing... and let’s not forget about the wonderful aromatherapy mist from the diffuser! It smelled SO GOOD! Ebony was my therapist today; and was very attentive to detail, making sure to address trouble areas with ease. Chanda and the crew- thanks for ALL you do! Keep up the AMAZING work and God bless you!

Wow…we’re in a dream stare. First couples massage here and it’s our new place. Met owner Chanda - kind, professional entrepreneur. Tiffany worked on me. She was very deep and extremely intuitive. I loved it. My husband said Ashley did a great job getting into the pain points with the perfect amount of pressure. Will definitely be back. We were looking for a new couples massage place. I think we found it. A couple friends of ours have done the float treatments and highly recommend them. Maybe we’ll try that next time. Thank you for your work. You make a difference in peoples lives for good.

Whether it's just to unwind and relax or to get my body working again, Total Bliss is my go to in Kansas City. I've been a customer for more than 10 years. In that time, I've never been disappointed. I once threw my back out - couldn't get out of bed on my own. I went to a chiropractor, but even after two sessions, I still could barely walk upright. On a friend's recommendation, I went in for the O'Neal method and walked out at nearly 100%. Highly recommend!

Love the Total Bliss experience! I’ve enjoyed massages from several different massage therapist and they all have been great! This place is relaxing from the moment you step in the door!! Every one there is kind and sensitive to your well being! We are lucky to have this health and wellness experience in the Northland!!

Chanda is so kind and amazing. Not only that, she has also hired such an amazing team of amazing people. The environment of the space right when you walk in is amazing and most certainly relaxing. You can tell just by the way it is decorated that love and passion was put into it. I would recommend this experience to anyone and everyone. Chanda is so personable, she truly treats me like a friend. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

My experience was amazing!! Very relaxing, clean, and the space was inviting. The staff was very professional and courteous. Chanda is extremely knowledgeable and really helped me work through my aches and pains. I would definitely recommend this place.

Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend. This past Friday, I had booked two 90-minute massages for our anniversary and based on reviews, we were looking forward to our experience. On Thursday evening at 6:30pm (after hours) they left a voice message that our massages would be taking place at another make-shift location due to some "electrical upgrades". With less than 24hrs to cancel our appointment we went to our massages expecting some form of professional ambience. Our room was completely make-shift with walls that did not go all the way up, with lots of light and sound from everywhere. We could hear each of the conversations going on in other rooms as well as the front desk staff. The front desk was right next to our room, where they were continuously laughing, dropping things and talking during the duration of our massage. Additionally, we didn't get into our room until 2:15pm as they were getting our room ready and our massages ended at exactly 3:30pm. I have received several massages prior and am aware of dressing time being included but this was not a 90-minute massage. We paid full price for our massages and thought our massages from Shelly and Wren were nice, the experience from start to finish was completely unprofessional.

Absolutely amazing massage with Shelly! And the environment is amazing and beautiful. I feel so relaxed and sitting in the sauna after my session is absolutely wonderful. For my self care day , momma needed all of this 🥹💞💞💞❤️❤️

People generally don't mind posting bad reviews, but we should post good reviews just as often. I can't say enough good things about this business & the staff, such an amazing group of people, from the owner on down. If you've never been here, you're definitely missing out. All of the therapist are great & know the body, but I have to give a special shout out to Lauren! Thank you for being intentional with what you do. Thank you to the entire staff for all that you do!

Ebony is an amazing massage therapist and is definitely blessed with healing energy. I had some pain in my right shoulder and when I left the pain was gone as well. Where ever she may be LA, Texas or Kansas City, I will definitely book her!!!

I can’t recommend this place enough! We got a 90 minute couple’s deep tissue massage that was phenomenal. Ms. Wren and Ebony were incredible. My husband and I can’t stop talking about the techniques they used that we hadn’t experienced before. They do offer relaxation massages, but if you want a massage that you KNOW was productive and really worked those muscles and got some knots out- this is your place!

I don’t leave reviews often but this place is absolutely a must! Quit wasting your time everywhere else and go to Total Bliss! Very clean, relaxing atmosphere with amazing staff. The front desk girl was very sweet & accommodating. I had a 90 min Swedish done and my MT was Ebony. She did a wonderful job, asked about no touch areas and problem areas that needed work. She has a great personality and makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. So happy I found this place, just wish I’d of found it sooner! Don’t walk, RUN!

This is my new slice of heaven. The massage method is actively relaxing, I love the stretching that are incorporated into the massage. I can not get enough of the Float Tank, yes, I fell asleep, they have everything you need and to be able to escape is an absolute joy! Then a little time in the sauna, best day ever! The thing that rounds it all out is the staff! Their kindness and attentiveness to their clients is amazing! Thank you all for being there for my self care.

I am so glad my daughter got me a gift certificate for a massage here a couple years ago. I had no idea how many services are offered here until I went in for that massage. I love the epsom salt float therapy and have done that many times. I just started doing the Ionic foot therapy. I have done the reflexology and it is great! My go to is a Swedish massage with Ashley. I started with Ashley way back when! I just told Chanda this past week....what she has created in her business...I can see in a hip beachside location. Stepping out near some sand! It is calming and welcoming and you would not know from the outside just how amazing it is. Her prices are very reasonable and the packages offered all have great discounts.
