Both myself and my adult daughter have recently had total hair experiences at *the* salon. Every stylist - and the owners - were very knowledgeable about their products and the differences of our hair. Celeste squeezed me in last minute. In my short 20 minutes with her, I learned that I've been *not* taking care of my hair and scalp my entire 52 years. Incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell. Lily graciously gave my daughter a brand new look (short notice again and on a Saturday). My daughter's hair was past her bum. Now it's just below her shoulders. It looks so healthy. Her words: "Played with the hair cut more and absolutely love it! Lily did a phenomenal job!". Again, so very much knowledge!

Kevin was seriously amazing! He did such an awesome job on my hair, and made me feel very welcomed. I definitely recommend the salon, everybody seemed very happy and comfortable with their guest.😊🤍

I had received a “disappointing” haircut at a different salon two weeks prior to seeking out Celeste at Total Hair Experience. Within minutes of sitting in Celeste’s chair, I knew I’d found the right stylist. Not only did she understand what was wrong with my cut, she was able to correct it. I’m extremely happy with the results.

Best salon in Jax! Patrick does an amazing job each and every time I come in to get my blond hair touched up. I get exactly what I ask for and beyond. If you want your hair done right and want to be a valued customer, highly recommend.

Been coming here for years. Staff is very knowledgeable, pleasant, professional and overall good at what they do. Patrick is my hairdresser and I can’t say enough good things about him. He is A-mazing at what he does! I will come here until I die.

Celeste worked magic on my hair, bringing it back to life after a long period of box dying it myself. She gave me the cut, color, and dimension I wanted when I visited her a couple months ago, and the touch up appointment was just as great. My hair is so healthy now. Highly recommend this salon and Celeste!

Honestly, they are really good and professional. The best part , that I am a hijabi and they were so welcoming to do services for me in a private room. They were so understanding and professional. Gaby did my highlight , haircut, and treatment. Overall, I would go back again . I am glad I found my happy place👍🏻

PLEASE DON’T COME HERE I never write reviews, however, my sister and I were treated very badly. I took my little sister here to get a balayage for her birthday. We showed the stylist (Patrick) what we want and when he was finished. I realized the color of the hair did not change at all, it was still brown. He said once we go outside it will be more noticeable, so I trusted him and I left. As soon as we left, we realized that it’s still brown. We came back 20 minutes later and he refused to fix her hair or refund us anything. So basically, I paid $400 to bleach my sister’s hair and make it brown again.

The hair appointment started out okay, I told her what I wanted to do and then I was taken over for a shampoo and condition. I got somewhat of what the style I wanted to do. I was being charged $68 but then it was changed to $97 just because my hair is long and it took longer to blow dry. The thing is I was not told it would $30 more to blow dry my long thick hair. I would have opted out and left the appointment with wet hair if I knew before hand. At the end of it all I believe I should have told at the very beginning I would be charged a lot more because of my hair. I only got 3 inches and curtain bangs.... for $97?

The salon experience nice. I did a walk in and only waited 15 for a haircut. It was clean and well organized. The parking wasn't so great but it was in town center so what do you expect

We were so happy to find Lily at Total Hair Experience. She does a great job on our son’s hair. Teens can be so picky but she has always taken time to listen and see what he would like to have done with his hair.

Fabulous staff...Celeste is my artist /stylist...Great person...Always pleasant and professional...and oh yeah....she reinvented my hair!....I am always feeling like a million when she is finished with her wizardry...Absolutely recommend this salon...Although Celeste is my girl...I see the work of the other professionals and they impress me also... I WAS A WORKING HAIR STYLIST FOR 38 YEARS; TO SAY I AM PICKY IS PUTTING IT MILDLY. WHEN GOING IN FOR MY NEW HAIRCUT, I WAS VERY CONCERNED ABOUT HOW THE END RESULT WOULD LOOK. I WAS SET UP WITH KAYLEE WALTERS. I WANTED A VERY ADVANCED HAIRCUT SO THAT IT COULD HAVE GONE BADLY. I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN IT CAME OUT LOOKING SO AMAZING. SHE HAS GREAT HAIRCUTTING SKILLS. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HER CONFIDENCE AS WELL; BECAUSE WHEN HEARING I WAS A STYLIST FOR MANY YEARS, MOST STYLISTS CAN GET A LITTLE NERVOUS WORKING ON MY HAIR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KAYLEE!

I went a few years ago to have my sons haircut and they did a horrible job, however, I haven’t found anywhere that cuts his hair well… so I decided to give them a second chance and booked an appointment to have my haircut… which that didn’t pan out so well!! Simple cut with curtain bangs, no style and the stylist could not get the sides even had to go back and she still couldn’t get it and kept cutting away!!!!! I will not be returning. $40 for a botched hair cut and and that doesn’t include styling.

I made my appointment for a DevaCut using their online scheduler. I was pleasantly surprised that the front desk called and said they needed to change my appointment time to put me with a more experienced curly stylist. I got there and the first thing my stylist did was wash my hair, which anyone who has ever gotten a DevaCut knows your hair has to be cut dry. My hair cut isn’t bad, but I'm peeved that I still got charged the $70 price tag for a DevaCut that I didn’t receive. I did buy some product that I’m actually happy with so that’s a plus.
