The owner has skills in styling but her attitude and the way she talks to customers is ATROCIOUS! Her employees dont like her on the low and I personally experienced her disrespectful attitude. Yet I was warned before I ever stepped into the shop and they were right. So at least three of her FORMER customers feel the same. Enter at your own risk!! The reviews speak for themselves the negatives one speak of same issue..her ATTITUDE. Who wants to pay to be disrespected.

I had a great experience at Salon Ajee!! This was my 1st time to try a weave, and GiGi was awesome!! She answered all my questions and my hair turned out GREAT!! 100% would recommend to others!!

Came here to get a sew-in. My usually lady stopped doing hair so I decided to try somewhere new. When I arrived at the salon, they told me that they didn't take clients until 9 am (it was 8:30ish), but had 4 clients under the dryer. So I went to my car. A stylist comes out to my car and says she will take me, but that the assistant had to braid me down. I found that slightly odd, but I was having a Lupus flare up and couldn't drive all the way out to The Weave Shop of Lithonia where I KNEW they would do a great job. Nevertheless, I went in. As the stylist was sectioning my hair for the assistant, she mentioned she could tell where I usually had the leave out due to the different textures of the hair. Y'all, she left out hair that hasn't seen the light of day since about '92.....as I was getting braided down, the client in the stylist's chair says "I didn't know you did sew-ins!" ( at this point I should have left, but like I said, stupid lupus pain) and the stylist goes "I normally don't because I can't braid". I told her I had three bundles of hair, and that one was in pieces. She proceeds to sew about to pieces of hair in my head, got me looking like the Crypt Keeper from Tales of the Crypt! I knew something was wrong when the assistant kept looking at me with a hesitant look! When she's finished and attempts to curl it, she couldn't. She claimed it was because the weave needed to be trimmed. I'm ready to jump out of her chair, so I tell her go ahead. Trimmed it and STILL couldn't curl it. Then she asked me if my part was straight, because she couldn't tell. When we get to the front to pay, she charges me $200 ! $100 per strand I guess. I was so upset! My hair looked horrible. I feel like she should have said she normally doesn't do sew ins. Instead, she took advantage of a new customer just to make a dollar. Horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I went to Salon Ajee at the last minute to get my daughter hair done for her Jr. Prom. I had a few hours before she had to be at her prom. I called Salon Ajee, and they told me to bring my daughter. I came with no appointment. As soon as I entered the Salon, I was greeted by a nice young lady. She asked how could she help me. I told her I needed my daughter's hair pressed and styled in a up do. Once I singed in, my daughter was told to go to the back of the Salon so she could get her hair washed. Monique"Mo", did an wonderful job on my baby's hair. It was fast and the service was great. She pressed My daughter's hair so well, if I had not seen it with My own eyes I would thought a perm was put in her hair. My daughter was amazed by the service rendered to her. She said it didn't hurt and it was done fast. I have found my daughter a beautician. I thank God for allowing me to find this Salon with such great service and a great beautician. If you are looking for a place to get your hair done check out Salon Ajee it is very professional and they are priced decently. You will leave with your hair looking beautiful. I love this place!

I received a relaxer by a stylist on 12/19/12 which resulted in chemical burns. I called her the very next morning as by the time I washed my face that evening and realized that the burning sensation was not my imagination, I realized some very severe burns around the perimeter of both sides of my face. When I called at 9:30am (*I waited for the salon to open, or at least begin accepting incoming calls), Sharon answered and I explained what happened. I offered to drive to the salon so that she could see firsthand, what occurred, and how badly my face was burned, and she said that she believed me and that would not be necessary. So I proceeded to tell her about how my face was burned. Her response in summary: "use neosporin, and aloe is good because my grandmother used to give it to me, and don't brush the area, and have a Merry Christmas!" Much to my chagrin, I am left to cover up the burns during the holiday season and I am very embarrassed over it. It appears that I inadvertently paid for my skin to essentially be burned by a "professional."
