If I could rate lower I would. They never have the color even when asked, they braid too tight and the braids are sloppy. I really did try with them but if you value your edges. Please book elsewhere. (And I have very healthy hair). Just not worth the price and 9 + hour sit down time. However the ladies are very nice so I’ll give them that!

They do a good job however when I ask for a certain style I expect it to look like the picture but the lady (do not know her name) did a wonderful job on me and my daughter hair today. I always call beforehand to get a price for what I want and when she did my daughter hair it was more then what I was told over the phone. 2 cornrows for $70 is a lot in my opinion when usually it is $50 with any other professional braider. Next time when I want something that simple I will go elsewhere, the pricing on simple styles are a little much. I gave 3 stars because she did a good job and a fast braider but the pricing was different then what I was told over the phone. Edit: I wanted to make a new review but somehow I’m not able to. I just left getting my hair done, I got passion twist and was SUPPOSE to be shoulder length, (touching slightly past my shoulder) I showed her the picture not ONCE but Twice and the end result I got was bob. I’m livid, I hate my hair and as a regular, this is my final time coming there. They stay changing the prices as well. I was told $230 for shoulder length passion twist which is a lot for that length but got there and she told me $250 cause it was $20 extra for hair, wtf😤 they need to stick to what they say over the phone and stop price gauging their customers once they’re there. I should have took the hour drive for $150. I won’t be back

Be careful with them , depending on the day and their mood they’ll charge you different prices. When I first went they charged me $90 for two straight back braids, it didn’t sit right with me but I paid. I called back up there two different times and they priced two braids at $60 and then $70. They will get you , ask about pricing first and make sure you record what they initially tell you , you’ll get up from the chair and they’ll tell you something different!

I've been a loyal customer for a while now. It sucks and is a little unprofessional how the owner allows the ladies to charge a different price for the same hairstyle and length each time. I have pictures, and receipts for the same style I asked to receive, and they tried to upcharge me a extra $80. Also, back in July I went in to have my hair refreshed at the top. I had 2 ladies to tell me it takes too long for that, so I needed to leave and come back when I wanted my entire hair redone. Also, then proceeded to say if the would do it, they would charge the same price for a full redo. The owner was out of town, so I couldn't speak with her. I then walked out, bc they give a very aggressive bully feeling when you request certain services, that they're paid to provide. I probably won't be going back, or referring as many ppl as I used to. Horrible experience the past few visits. The owner is nice though.

Sweet ladies. Kinda disappointed. The hair style although it's pretty I feel sorta cheated. This was my 2nd time here and I got medium knotless again. 1st time I was in love. This time the braids are not full like I know knotless are gonna be boneless kinda but this is extra boneless. Not really too bad in the front but the back falls really flat due to the much bigger and uneven parting. For what I paid I don't think this was really up to par.

The braids were beautiful. The new location at Sandhills is nice. However, I observed braiders moving from client to client without washing their hands, using a hand sanitizer or using anything to sterilize the combs. It was very unsanitary.

Excellent service! They opened the shop on time and I was right in the chair! The lady was sooo nice omg! She had good conversation and was really caring! She braids really fast and really good! I got knotless and I wasn’t there for a long time! My hair looks good. She recommended a hair color for me and said it was going to look good and omg she was absolutely right!! My hair looks really good! Love how nice the shop is and the restrooms were clean! Top tier high quality and upscale braid shop. Located in Sandhills! I will be back. They are the best in Columbia!!!!

I drove over an hour to get my hair done and i left with nothing!!! Very rude, they huffed and puffed when i walked in. I came here before and was very satisfied i even told people to come here to be serviced and they also said they wouldn’t return because of the nasty attitudes from the employees. I’ll spend my money somewhere else nobody is going to pay to be treated poorly. I asked questions to get a better understanding of what exactly i would be paying for and they apparently had a problem with this. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

I’ve always relied on Touba to deliver when doing my Senegalese twists. They always did. They did not this time. I had two people working on my hair but that wasn’t the problem. The problem was with the twists being done differently, and the size of the twists for the price I paid. The parts were a little too big and the hair that was used was rough. The ends were tangled, and rough by the next day. Some ends were locked and others were just braided. The style turned out pretty but if you actually look at the starting point of the twist, you can tell the difference. I’ve never been this disappointed with a service from them because I’ve always known them to do excellent work throughout the years. I think I’m just going to stick to knotless braids from them from now on.

overall i did like my hair however the price was very steep for what i received. i loved that they provided the hair , and i could understand the price of medium ( which really they do small , and i appreciate that ) waist length which they claimed was $250. my hair is clearly not waist length. my hair is mid - back which is FINE. however i asked if the price would be lowered since my hair is clearly NOT to my waist. i then was told was told waist length is 300. the hair itself is beautiful however the constant price changes , aggression and attitude is what turned me way from continuing services. please think twice and get them to write the prices down for you before you get any service.

I went to Touba(sandhills) for my touch up on my knotless box braids. I started to notice the color of the hair was lighter after about 30 mins. I asked the stylist was the hair the same color and she said yes. Moments later she went to the back for an extended amount of time to come back with another bundle of hair that she began to use. Then my hair began to look more like the original color. I then mentioned that I have two different colors. No one ever thought to ask or confirm what color was already in my braids. The other stylist explained that they ran out of my color and was mixing two colors to make it which I was not made aware of prior to getting my touch up. I was not happy about paying $150 for service with multiple colors. And my center part was off! Be cautious about them making decisions on services you’re paying for them to act like they do not understand what you’re saying as a customer.

Worst service I have ever experienced 0/10. I got knotless boho braids done Saturday and I shouldn’t have paid $320 for the service. For starters the lady that braided my hair had a nasty attitude as soon as I told her which style I wanted. If you all do not want to do boho knotless because they take a little longer to do, then don’t offer the service, simple! The lady was so rough parting my hair, my braids are mid back even though I paid a price for them to be long!!! I am truly disgusted with how they treat customers! 0/10 recommend.

Been going to Touba for years. Stop and went back yesterday for some box braids. It took 6 and a half hours to do my hair. Called and mame told me to come in and I did. Got straight in the chair with no problem. Mame did my hair with one of her coworkers, even though my hair was real short and they couldn’t catch it but Mame did and it look good. Love them and thank you.

Walked in...showed them a photo of what I wanted.. My hair was washed and immediately 2 braiders were on my head. Which I appreciate because it lowers the time I have to sit to get braids done.

Went in without an appointment but the owner said she could do the stitch braids. Between 7-9 braids is all i wanted. Again, she said okay. She took 3 people that came in after me kept saying she was coming and to wait shes almost done. When I finally got in the chair she said for stitch braids i would have to come back tomorrow b/c they take too long mind you I’m pregnant and it had already been hours of waiting. Who would come back the next day and do that all over again? She said nothing about that till I finally got sat down. I bypassed the stitch braids and got regular straight backs..reminded her i only wanted at most 9 braids she gave me 15…again not what I asked for and she still charged $150. Very disappointed with the overall experience and never went back. Wouldn't go there if it were my last resort, everything wouldnt have been as bad if she wouldve communicated earlier that she couldnt do what I asked for prior to instead of wasting my time just for me to walk out with a style i didnt ask for and still paid $150.
