A group of us decided to come here for our friends 40th birthday. I didn't have a good feeling from the beginning, and I wish I'd stuck with my intuition. I rode by the place a few times, not realizing it was a row home. Upon entrance, I thought the place was really cute. We were asked our shoe size, handed some slippers and had a preference of robe selection. I changed into my robe and helped the rest of friends set up for the surprise party, upstairs. During set-up, I noticed other patrons there. Which was disturbing, because we paid to have the place to ourselves. We also paid for our services, with 20 percent gratuity included, prior to being able to book the party. While waiting for the birthday girl, multiple masseuse kept asking us if we were ready. I then heard my friend arguing with someone. As my friend and the birthday girl came into the room, the owner was walking behind them, being extremely hostile. She was debating the start time with my friend and ruined the surprise for the birthday girl. My friend stated we had an hour set up before and after and that services were to start at 6. The owner said the services were supposed to start at 5, with set up time at 4. She then told us they would not be able to provide the services we paid for, even though four pm arrival was not listed in the contract. She then also became argumentative with others in the party. In no way was she accommodating or professional. Instead she opted to be combative. As a business owner and healthcare professional, I was extremely disappointed. The masseuse were all really sweet. But the owners attitude overshadowed that. And to top it off, close to 300 dollars was paid, per person, for services that weren't received and a sub par massage. I’ve had spa services all over and have never experienced anything like this. Needless to say, I won't return.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, and while 4 stars isn't bad, there were a number of issues that impacted my experience. The woman who provided my services was very sweet, but there are several factors that need improvement. Unfortunately, the services I received didn’t feel worth the value I paid—they were very average. 1. Initial Experience: The first walk-in was awkward. Since it was our first time, we didn’t know what to expect, and there was no introduction. It would have been helpful to hear something like, "Welcome to Touch and Glow! Is this your first time? Here’s what to expect." Instead, we were just asked for our shoe sizes and handed slippers and robes, which felt very impersonal—like a visit to a bowling alley. 2. Locker Room Confusion: There was some confusion with the lockers. One of them was dirty, and there was hesitation on whether to clean it or get me a new one. The bathroom floor where we changed also could have been cleaner, which made me uncomfortable being barefoot. After some back-and-forth, the locker was cleaned, but it set a negative tone. 3. Robes: I was disappointed with the robes. I wasn’t given a pink, girly one like I expected but a black robe with a terry lining. They were also unbearably hot, making it hard to relax, especially during the pedicure. Both my partner and I were sweating, and it wasn’t enjoyable. 4. Pedicure: I opted out of polish since I already had my toes done but received the other services. Unfortunately, it was just okay—very average. My partner didn’t receive the clear coat he requested or the callus treatment. The overall pedicure was underwhelming compared to the service we usually get at our regular nail place. 5. Massage: The room for the massage was beautiful, and the ambiance was great. However, it was very hot. I was sweating during the massage and had to keep one foot out to cool down. The massage itself didn’t relieve any tension, and I felt tense and uncomfortable throughout. Usually, after a massage, I feel light and relaxed, but I left feeling overheated, with my hair sweaty and the massage feeling rushed. My partner had a similar experience—he found the massage mediocre and also felt rushed. 6. Final Thoughts: While we appreciated the wine and finger foods, and enjoyed the music and ambiance (thanks to being able to control the Alexa), the overall experience was lacking. The robes made it difficult to relax, the pedicure was below average, and the massage was disappointing. I’m almost sad that I spent so much money for a less-than-ideal experience. Advice for Improvement: - Fix the stone floor in the Turkish bath area. - Improve the introductory experience to make it more welcoming and informative, especially for first-time clients. - Cleanliness is non-negotiable. Bathrooms, lockers, and all areas should be wiped down thoroughly before and after each guest. - Turn up the AC—by the time we left, my hair was sweaty, and it was hard to enjoy the services because of the heat. We might return to try different services like the Turkish bath or tub experience, but based on our current experience, this place wouldn’t be our first choice for a pedicure and Swedish massage.

The touch and glow relaxation spa takes very good care of your body. I walk out of there feeling relaxed and the relaxation lasts longer than a week. The staff is very experienced and do tremendous work.

Incredible experience! Came here for my birthday and had the most relaxing time. I purchased the Royal Treatment package and it was worth every penny. I was greeted by Lisa and given a robe to change into, then I had THE BEST pedicure I have ever had from Lisa. She took her time and made sure I was comfortable, even offering me a glass of wine. I almost fell asleep multiple times from how relaxed I was, and I am usually someone who HATES getting my feet touched. Truly amazing! Next, I followed Jess up to the 3rd floor where I was given a luxurious massage. The room was lovely, and even had a small waterfall fountain that I loved listening to during my massage. Jess was very thorough and really worked out tons of the knots in my neck and shoulders, I feel better than I have in months! Next I had my facial, Jess used warm steam on my face which really felt like it opened up my pores. She exfoliated and cleansed my skin, while massaging my face, neck, and shoulders more. Jess also used hot stones on my shoulders and hands, which was a great touch. I felt so relaxed and comfortable during my sessions with Jess and Lisa, they were so professional and friendly, and the building was clean and beautiful. I can’t wait to come back! Cannot recommend it enough!

Let me tell you about the unforgettable experience we had at @touchandglowrelaxationlounge yesterday. This place had amazing Google Reviews and I had been told about how this unassuming place in Roxborough would change our lives. And it did. It felt like a true oasis and like everything in the outside world didn’t matter anymore. That to me sounds like the definition of relaxation. I told them beforehand it was my partner’s birthday weekend and they included so many special touches that it brought tears to my eyes. They made us feel like two KINGS! Here’s what we did (and what you NEED to do): - started out with some lavender tea to relax - Turkish Bath in the Vichy Hammam on majestic marble tables (included massage, scrubbing, oil rub, hair conditioner, and you can add on a mud face mask) - Jacuzzi donned with rose petals, a bottle of top shelf champagne, and they added some balloons and a delicious cake in honor of my partner’s birthday🥹 Touch and Glow also offers facials, massages, nail bar, lash lounge, makeup, and they have more in the works. This space is truly MAJESTIC. The interior design and artwork touts an inspried style of Italian royalty, Versace, Euro Chic, Greek bath house. And the Touch and Glow experience is coupled with a staff of unbelievably friendly and accommodating people that will go above and beyond to make sure you experience true relaxation like you’ve never experienced before. They truly don’t mess around there!

Milan is AMAZING! The Turkish massage and the facials are the best I ever had! The spa is classy and so is the owner and the staff! disappointed! The atmosphere is so relaxing and all yoir troubles just melts away. After the turkey massage I have so much energy and my aches and pains go away! You will not be disappointed!

Originally, I thought this place would been perfect as a birthday treat to myself but little did I know that thier advertised price for a promotion meant they would call to tell me I had to add another service in order to be serviced (which was NOT noted anywhere on the website). Adding another $65 to an almost $400 cost ( including a mandatory 20% tip) What a scam. When conversing with whomever called me, she insisted that it was their policy and had no way of accommodating me for the error on the website. She lied and said it was under the couple's treatment, but I wouldn't have seen it because I booked a single treatment. What a waste of time. I decided to cancel my appt and take my money to a REAL spa.

The experience you receive is unmatched. The services are consistent. The staff is always pleasant and professional. They make sure you indulge in a luxury atmosphere second you’re there. I live out of state and so far had 2 parties and one private experience here. It’s worth every penny. I’m looking forward visiting again soon. Book now!

This is an amazing, under-the-radar spot! I booked a couples massage here and it was an amazing experience! The hosts were very accommodating and offered coffee, tea, and champagne. The massage therapists were great and professional and the couples suite is lovely. Highly recommend! Also looks like a great space for events / spa parties. Will definitely be coming back!

Touch and Glow Relaxation Lounge is a hidden Gem located in the Roxborough/Manayunk area. The services are unique and the staff is phenomenal. I booked a spa pedicure and ended up booking another service called the Turkish bath and the Vichy humum. This experience is unique and made me feel like if I was in Beverly Hills. I would totally recommend and can’t wait for my next appointment on Valentines Day. ❤️

Everything about this Lounge was awesome! The staff was wonderful. I enjoyed my foot soak and my Massages. It's a Byob and bring your own food which I loved. The atmosphere was a vibe💯! Who said you can't party and get pampered at the same time!This spa party was one to remember! I will be back!

I took a group of girlfriends here for a bachelorette party and we had an amazing time. We had massages and everyone loved them! The spa lounge and deck area are also so relaxing. We appreciated having some wine and snacks while we waited for others, and loved wearing robes to feel extra cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend touch & glow anytime you need a relaxing afternoon, whether it’s just for yourself or with friends too!

One of the best experiences I've had in my life. This was my first time going to a spa and I was skeptical initially, but WOW!! The Reiki treatment and massage were just what I needed. Then to top it off, the Egyptian foot bath and hot stone massage were incredible as well. I will absolutely be back again 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Such a beautiful and relaxing experience. While there I had a massage, pedicure and paraffin dip. No complaints. Would highly recommend and would go back in the future. Very clean and staff was friendly !

My experience at touch and glow was amazing. The staff was very polite and professional. I felt very comfortable. I felt so at home and so at eased, I didn’t want to leave. Since my first time experiencing the spa I try and go as much as possible. Not only to enjoy the massages, but also the wine and ambiance of the vibe and beautiful view from their balcony..I would recommend anyone to either book or attend an event.
