Traditions massage and facial spa

I booked an appointment Dec 16th for a massage on Dec 19th, and put down the required deposit. I was contacted by the spa on the 19th, one hour before my appointment, canceling due to an emergency. I was asked if I wanted to reschedule, and because of my schedule, I was unable and requested a refund. I have called several times, each time saying they would look into my refund and get back to me, and have never returned my call. I have personally emailed the owner, and she ignores each email and refuses to contact me. Today when I called (clearly frustrated), I was actually hung up on! The customer service at this spa is horrific, to say the least. Save yourself the money and aggravation, and go somewhere that values a customer. If you read any of their negative reviews, they usually end up attacking their customers, so I fully expect this fiasco to continue. I seldom leave negative reviews, but after the way I was treated, they left me no choice. BTW, I warned her I would leave a review and gave her time to remedy, but apparently they just don't care.

I had the pleasure of having Khaela give me a facial and peppermint scalp massage. She was GOOD!. Professional, took her time and made sure I was comfortable. The receptionist was nice too.

The ambiance was great and the staff very courteous and helpful! My therapist, Gina, was super personable and extremely attentive. She took great care in understanding my needs, which she readily translated into an extremely beneficial experience. It was a perfect way to celebrate my birthday!

Had a hydrafacial with Khaela. Would 100% recommend. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time and the service itself was phenomenal! The establishment is clean, the environment relaxing, and staff is friendly. I will return for another service!

The massage therapist named Eric is skilled at finding the problem areas and addressing them accordingly. He has a positive demeanor and communicates well. Highly recommend!

Very nice facility. Front desk staff was nice. She got my appointment wrong but was able to fix it. Refreshments ( wine champagne tea) would be perfect 👌 zaa was my therapist put 4 stars because she talked the whole 90 min. I wanted to cry. I just wanted to relax. Neck n shoulder was the best i ever had. Legs and arms felt like lotion was just being rub. Distracted from talking. Playing soothing music would be great.

I had an amazing experience zacara (think that’s how u spell it ) she focused on my areas of pain especially my neck I have horrible headaches . She massages really good my neck and back felt amazing when I left . I did the 60 min massage it was every bit worth it I will be back

The service, ambiance, and staff are all amazing. Please give them a try and you will be very pleased and will walk away totally relaxed with glowing skin. I had a 60-minute deep tissue massage with Zaakirah and a 60-minute facial with Kori, both were amazing. Thank you both!!!

Gina was fabulous! She’s so friendly and great at her job! She went over what I needed and I felt like a whole new person after my session with her. She went over what I needed and why and helped me tremendously! I felt brand new after my session with her! I highly recommend her and traditions spa!

My wife and I had a 90 minute couples massage at Traditions Day Spa at 275 Glynn St. Fayetteville, GA on 3/22/24, my therapist was Gina and hers was Zaakirah. So I'll get right to the point . Gina was pleasant but my massage with Gina was very disappointing. During the intake I expressed to her that I preferred firm pressure but not deep tissue, there are levels some in between, what I got was being rubbed on for 90 minutes. There was nothing therapeutic about the massage I received. There was NO pressure. I also expressed the her that my neck, shoulders and lower back needed the most attention. She Rubbed back for 30 minutes or so with NO therapeutic attention to my lower back. Gina did NOTHING as far as my neck goes, no rubbing, no kneading. just a lot of rubbing to my shoulders. Nothing to my face, nothing to my head, which is all expected during a 90 minute massage. My legs and feet got NO therapeutic attention just rubbing, I will say my arms and hands got plenty of attention (rubbing). More time than the areas of concern I expressed to her. I was asked what aroma I wanted, I said Eucalyptus, I never smelled a hint of Eucalyptus. . Being a massage therapist myself I am well versed in giving and receiving massages. With that being said it is my opinion that Gina is not a trained therapist or she didn't feel like being of service to the customer that day.. I was so disappointed I felt I had to make the owner Sonja Gibson aware of my experience. Still disappointed she never replied to my email. No sorry for your experience, let us make it right, would you like to try another (or I think, a trained therapist). I would 100% NOT recommend this establishment.... I have not had the chance to receive a spa treatment yet from Traditions, but the customer service received was outstanding! Gabby was helping me earlier this week to accommodate a party of 9. She was so kind, patient and went above and beyond to assist me. I can't wait to visit the spa, which I am sure will be an amazing experience.

Had a wonderful first experience at Traditions. My husband gifted me a 90 minute hot stone massage. Service was wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone was so kind and spoke in soft calming tones. The house is historic and beautifully preserved. My masseuse was Leah. I was very relaxed with her and would book her again.

Love it here. It’s calm. Everyone is professional and friendly which really - I mean coming the door you’re immediately relaxed. I recommend this business. *New visit to same establishment* Nothing has changed, just all positive vibes here and I am starting to feel like they are my extended wellness family! I love coming here and glad that I found them and they have welcomed me to be more than just a customer scheduled at 1:45p, but Juanita who scheduled at 1:45p. There's a difference :)

This establishment is special. Wonderful ambiance! Very professional and friendly! I highly recommend Leah! She’s terrific! I will definitely return for a massage and a dry brushing! Best massage ever! 🥰
