I’ve been going to Tranquility Body Spa for two years and after recently recovering from a bad case of the Flu, I needed relief from a stiff back and hip after being inactive for almost three weeks. I had the hour and a half combination and now I feel like a new man. I would highly recommend Tranquility Body Spa for all types of body need services. The staff is very friendly and professional and the Spa is neat, clean and reasonably priced. Please note the suggested tip range card at the front desk. Fair and generous tips allow for Tranquility to provide very fair service prices.

Went for a prenatal massage, but had to call me Back to verify if they offered the service I should have known that was a red flag. They didn’t have the pregnancy pill where I can lay on my stomach to get my back massaged Nor did they massage my hands or feet Also, I could hear other people getting their massages and slapped on. Also, the lady working the front desk complained about the tip. I left leaving. I was not relaxed hands and feet still hurt as well as my lower back. I would not recommend.

Probably one the best massages I've ever had and for such a great price. The early bird/happy hour 10am-1pm special is fantastic. I got a Combination 90min massage and I loved it. I would go back just for the hand and foot portion of the massage.

My therapist was excellent. Location was clean. Pricing very good. I am.a "massage" person, good for 2 to 3 per month. This was one of the better massages that I have received.

Someone I met at a Spa told me, "If you want a really good massage at a great price you have to try Tranquility". So, I decided to give them a try and I must say it was definitely worth the drive to Cukver City. I had a 90 minutes combo massage. The woman walked on my back and limbs with just the right pressure and then finished with a relaxing strokes. I think I heard myself snore lol I'm going to make this my new place to go when I don't want a total Spa experience. The only con was they don't have designated parking, you have to park on the street (metered parking).

Always a great experience, easy to get appointments the day before, and good value. They always ask where you'd like to focus while still giving a great full body experience. Love the stretching as well. Hard to get at other spas.

Been going for a while and the massages and prices were good. But recently I got a terrible massage, not even worth the time, let alone the money. I chocked it up bad luck, but when I got to the front desk and paid for me and my partner's massage, the front desk person made a huge deal that I didn't tip enough and I needed to tip more. Once my partner got out, she went at it again about the tip and wouldn't leave it alone. Will not be going back.

I got the combo massage for an hour. It was great. I really needed some deep tissue work and I got it. My only gripe is the suggested tip signage at the front desk. They suggest more than a third of the price of the service. I don’t think that is reasonable. I felt very pressured with the sign there. Although, I was pleased with my massage, I think a tip that is nearly half of the price is a reach. On top of the sign right in your face. The tip should really be at the client discretion and should not be expected. I didn’t ask for any extras and I don’t feel that I got anything extra from the service. I hope they keep the quality and demeanor exactly the same for all paying customers whether they tip more/less than what they are obviously expecting. This is the only thing to prevent me from returning and becoming a regular.

I scheduled a massage for myself & my partner same day and their availability was great. Massage was good. Unfortunately, they forced me to tip 40% which is absurd, and a bait and switch for the lower hourly price advertised.

I've been a loyal client of Tranquility for seven years, and every visit has been nothing short of spectacular. Every masseuse has magic hands, and I consistently leave feeling like I'm floating on a cloud. For those seeking a deep massage, they offer the unique experience of walking on you - which I highly recommend! My personal favorites are the Thai and deep tissue massages, but the hot stone massage is also a treat. The pricing is just the icing on the cake. Don't miss out on this gem. Highly recommend!

This place is the best…especially for a firm massage! In 5 years I’ve had many, many outstanding massages here and only a one or two average ones. For years I got the combination massage but recently started requesting deep tissue and will never go back. They offer the option to walk on your back which I highly recommend if you’re tolerant of firm pressure. They never fail to improve or completely resolve my muscle tightness and discomfort. Drink lots of water after! I love you tranquility!

[2023 update] Guys - even after 2 years this place is still amazing. My husband and I did a quick trip to LA this month and even though we were only in town for 1 night we made a point to visit Tranquility. Tina and Tisha still work there - they are my favorite masseuses! - - - - - - - - I am so glad I decided to come here after reading the Google reviews. Initially I got a massage for my husband’s birthday, and he had such a great experience we decided to buy a pack of 10 (you get the 11th hour/apt free). It has been AMAZING for each of us to go each week for an hour. Usually we get the Swedish/Thai combo. All of the ladies so far have been extremely professional and attentive, and they are great about checking in to make sure the pressure is ok. This will be our fifth weekend back in a row! The place is relatively quiet although you will hear a bit of noise when newcomers enter for their appointments, but for the most part the other patrons are also respectful and don’t talk loudly. The rooms are simple and small, with a place to hang your stuff. And it is evident that they take cleanliness seriously- always clean sheets and towels, and you can hear them changing all linens and spraying down the room once someone leaves. Plus, when you let them know where you park at the meter they go out and drop in a coin at the hour mark to make sure your car doesn’t get towed!! All in all, a wonderful gem in Culver City.
