I went here to get braids for an edm festival and Lollapalooza. Melody and Kim did Dutch braids and they both turned out fantastic! I would consider coming here to get my hair cut/color, but I'm moving out of the area. Update: Got my hair colored by Nicole. She did an amazing job! If I didn't move, I would definitely continue to go to her.

Melanie is amazing!! I asked for a trim on my layers and she freshened them up. I also gave her an inspo for highlights and she worked her magic. She sure knows her color theory! She went with the perfect color and undertones to make me look my best!

I do not normally post reviews but I felt compelled to after being charged $164 for a cut and color, and then after I pay in cash $164 having the lady who checked me out literally say “are you going to leave a tip on your card or something”. The woman who did my hair was great and really nice and funny, totally loved talking to her. She was also the owner of the business. I do not think it is good business practice to ask your customers for tips. I already paid $164 which was totally over my budget, then being intimidated into then adding a tip… so I of course over tipped out of being anxious, going even more over budget… in total I spent $184 on a hair cut and color. I was a bartender for 9 years and never once would I say to a customer after they paid their tab in cash “were you gonna tip on your card or something”….. super unprofessional and makes your customers super uncomfortable.

I have been going to tranquility since basically forever’ i won’t let anyone else touch my hair besides Shannon. She is the best! I recently got married and we used tranquility salon to get ready for hair and make up and they went above and beyond. Shannon and Nicole did an amazing job, my bridesmaids are still raving about how much they loved their hair. Would recommend this family owned business! They do not disappoint!!

I’ve been having my hair cut and colored at Tranquility since 2015. I’ve only had positive experiences and great cuts from professionals who I trust. They all love what they do and provide great cuts/color but also great feedback due to their expertise. This business is also great and very active in local community events

I could only give minimum one star on this review, if I could I would give it no star at all! I was actually not going to post anything, but it still bothers me to the core of my soul. After reviewing all the ratings I booked my appointment for a color, great reviews!! my hair will be in good hands so I thought. Very exited and on crutches due to a surgery on my leg I went to get my hair done. Or should I say ruined!! When I called to make the appointment they booked me with the daughter of the owner! Also by the looks she was the youngest of the rest of the ladies who work there. I'm guessing since I said I was coming in for a color change, that also means more expensive and a bigger charge , and that it was!!! More than 300 dollars I paid to have my hair ruined! I went in for my appointment in the afternoon, and left there just before it got dark. I did not question any of the steps she took with my hair I was trusting thinking I was in good hands . When all was done , she washed and dried my hair, she also mention that she applied some kind of hair serum or glue to my hair which seemed odd, glue? I thought. But still I trusted her knowledge as a stylist! worst mistake of my life!! The next day I saw the horrible damage done to my hair! Every single strand was burned and damaged!! every single one was split in two at the ends!! It was then realized and understood why she had applied the sticky glue substance in my hair. She was covering her horrendous work results. For those of you wondering why I had not posted this review before , well the very next day my mom got very ill and had to relocate to take care of her, no time or thought about anything else but her. So if you're planing to visit this salon beware go at your own risk. But then again you might be luckier than I was, and they might book you with one of the other ladies there. Wish I would've been, more than $300 dollars down the drain ! Never setting foot in that salon again!!!

I get my hair cut about twice a year. Every time I'm there I have them cut off enough hair so I can come back in another 6 months. It's a good set up.

Sadly Disappointed! The first stylist cut my hair incredibly uneven (on a part) so I went back to have a manager/owner fix it and though it was straight she cut a chunk out-horrible experience...cant wait for my hair to grow back! I cant get this photo uploader to get my photos when I drag them otherwise there would be photos. My suggestion would be to try a different salon!

Great place for a high and tight. They also did my sister in-laws bridal party and all the bridesmaids hair was awesome.
