The massages were great( see review from 2 months ago, below) but they contacted me to reschedule one, never responded either way to my 'wait-list' request, and did not follow up after I reached out via text when i wanted oti schedule and their website was nit working - they told me their site was down, but i was never contacted aboyt when they would be up again. Previous review: I had 2 great massages with Erica. My purpose was to release stubborn tightness in my arm and shoulder muscles preventing me from advancing with post- surgical rehab. Erica knew how to target the areas i needed while balancing the rest of my body. She wass caring, professional, and skilled in helping where and how i needed it. It helped increase my mobility and advance my recovery. Grateful!

Had my first massage with Kerry this past weekend. The atmosphere was relaxing and soothing and Kerry was amazing! Great pressure and great technique. I could tell within the few 3 minutes that she really knew what she was doing. Highly recommend!

Husband & I come into town for the SEC championship game & just thought “wonder if we could get a massage”. MAN! Could we! We texted the number on the website it said for same day inquiries & within 3 hours we got one of the best massages of our lives! These gals were the truth! 10/10 will come here again when we are in town!

I had such a good experience. I did a marathon on Sunday November 20, 2022 and got a massage 2 days later by Ronda. My body was very sore going into the massage, and I came out feeling barely at all like I did a marathon...like my body forgot it did a marathon. Ronda was very attentive to my request of focus areas due to my marathon. I also was slightly late as I didn't expect the construction, and Ronda went above and beyond to come out and make sure I found the place even though I should have looked at the email they sent more closely. I highly recommend Ronda

I have multiple issues due to sports injuries and I require deep tissue massages. Both Erica and Elyse are fantastic! Not only do they work out the problem areas, but they both give personalized and relaxing experiences. After the Peachtree, I was in a lot of pain and I tried to book a fast appointment. Elyse wasn't available, so I scheduled for the first time with Erica. I'm always hesitant with new therapists, especially when my body is in emergency mode. Erika took great care. She relieved my soreness and I feel like a new person. I highly recommend both Erica and Elyse!

I recently got a massage done by Rhonda for my birthday. This was my 2nd time going to her. She is very professional and respectful. I felt very comfortable and relaxed with her. After the session I felt significantly less tension in my body. I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a couples massage here for our anniversary and it far exceeded our expectations. Ronda and Elyse gave us the best massages we have ever had and were so kind and attentive. They applied the perfect amount of pressure and had amazing technique. We were late to our appointment due to traffic and they didn’t even cut into our massage time and were so nice about it! The space was also really relaxing. I would highly recommend to anybody that wants a great massage. We will be going back as soon as we can!

So grateful to have found Ronda! They got me in on last minute notice and were extremely accommodating. She was thorough in asking questions about my injuries and needs, and took such detailed care in applying techniques that specifically targeted those needs. Especially loved the heated table and towels, as well as the weighted blanket and pads. She listened so well and I walked away feeling so much better than when I walked in. Can’t wait to come back!

This would have been my 1st appointment with this company, I was called a few hours prior to my appointment by the owner Kerry Lewis. She advised me that the Therapist I was scheduled with was not available to be on a leave of absence. She stated that I would be scheduled with a different Therapist which I was not comfortable with. She proceeded to grill me about how I knew the original Therapist, I explained how I knew her and by the end of the conversation she stated the Therapist would no longer be returning to her company. I have never experienced this type of conversation with any other companies that I have patronized for Massage services. The way she spoke to me and grilled me was extremely unprofessional and rude. As a customer, any personnel issues that are going on are not my concern and should not be any of my business. And furthermore the customer should not be repeatedly asked questions about Therapist. Consumers have a choice as to where they spend their money and I won't ever spend mine with this company.

Elyse gave me a 2 hour massage. She did deep tissue and worked out the knots in my back really well. She asked me a lot of questions before our appointment to give me the most personalized experience. My shoulders were super swollen before and when I walked away, I felt I could stand up straighter! I could breathe easier. It literally felt like she took a weight off my shoulders. I’m so glad I found this place- I will definitely be going back. :)

Elyse was incredible! Hands down. I came in a tense human knot and left feeling both zen and energized. She listened to how my body was feeling and checked every box and more (spots I was unaware of). Highly, highly recommend this place if you are in search of a much needed massage. It was therapy; everyone needs to treat their body with care and what better place than Massage By Design!

Massage By Design gets an A+ in my book! Every massage from them has been a delight. Prior to my most recent massage, my lower back was painfully tight. After my 1 hour session, i experienced so much relief, and i am now walking, bending, and sleeping much more comfortably. The environment is very welcoming. Soft lighting, a calming teal background, and lovely crystals placed throughout all work together to create a very zen space. I will absolutely continue to visit them for my massage needs.

I have been going to Kerry for nearly five years now. She is absolutely incredible. She truly listens to you every single time, and very specifically adjusts treatment accordingly. She’s remarkably intuitive and carefully uses this ability in her sessions. As the name of her company implies, her massages are never one-size-fits-all. It’s crystal clear that she deeply cares about, and is dedicated to, meeting your particular needs and helping you heal. She has reliably eased my back and neck pain from day one. .... More recently - and this is nothing short of miraculous - she treated me for carpal tunnel relief ahead of a consultation with a hand surgeon. The medical team and I were pretty sure that surgery would be needed. However, the benefits from just one session with Kerry, focused on my hand and wrist, were so profound that the surgeon told me that not only did I not need surgery, but that I no longer qualified for a carpal tunnel diagnosis at all, AND that their new recommended course of treatment was to continue getting bodywork from Kerry as needed (which I’m absolutely doing, still with success). Mind blown. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you, Kerry!!

Never even got a massage in the end. I booked the appointment online and was looking forward to trying Kerry based on positive reviews. Unfortunately someone borrowed her car and she texted me that she was running 15 mins late. No biggie, I’ll wait. Sadly another 15 mins went by before she texted me that she was still in traffic 9 mins away on I-75. Only after I mentioned I was getting angry did she offer to reschedule. I had to ask about cancelling and getting my money back since the website indicated I would be charged for late cancellations. She agreed not to charge me and apologized but I waited 45 mins in an empty depressing cold concrete hall bench which I will never get back. Very disappointing poor communication. In response to owners reply: there was never any offer of extra time. Insulting me by claiming I have no empathy is unprofessional. If I had no empathy I wouldn’t have patiently waited 45 mins. I had another event scheduled and simply could not wait any longer.

Clean, satisfying, welcoming and warm atmosphere!!!! This place is more than words can describe. My husband scheduled a couples message and the experience went beyond my expectations. I could honestly say that I have yet to experience a message in this manner. Everything from start to finished made me feel like they were there to make sure I had no complaints. It will be more than a message experience.....it will be enlightening!!!

Kerry is an incredible massage therapist and one of the most thoughtful people you will meet. Her hands always find exactly where my muscles are tight even when I can't describe it or didn't realize the extent. She adapts the massage based on what I need and so every massage is different. She knows many different techniques and will continue to work through a problem no matter how resistant. I used to have horrendous migraines and after seeing Kerry regularly, the migraines have significantly decreased in frequency and severity. She is magical and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

Must say this experience was awesome!!! Worth each and every penny. The room was clean and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I never have time to plan out messages for me and after this experience, I must say I’m going to begin to go more often. The building was very inviting and the staff was friendly. The owner (Kerry) was very attentive and even though my husband planned it (unbeknown) to me I felt like my spirit knew I was coming here. He scheduled a deep tissue couples message and everything was in a timely manner. If I could give it more stars I would. Keep up the good work ladies!!!

I am so grateful to have found Kerry! My mother had been a healer/massage therapist for over 25+ years, so my bar is very high. I was so completely blown away after my first massage with Kerry. The room is cozy and beautiful, the table is soft yet supportive and heated. She uses weighted warm heat packs placed on top of you while working on the areas in need of attention. It makes you feel safe and held, like you can melt right down into the earth. She is an intuitive, she is a gifted healer and now after many session together, I've found a very special human being. This is not only a treat but maintenance for your physical and mental wellbeing. I would highly recommend Kerry to my friends and family and anyone looking for a unique healing.

So peaceful, I love that it is a local small business that has a spa like feel :) I NEVER get corporate massages, I like someone to get to know me, & fix me! Wow! After recent multiple injuries, a friend recommended that I go see Kerry. The massage that I received there not only exceeded my expectations, but even my imagination! I have worked in the wellness industry and had hundreds of massages. The improvement in my condition and the pain relief that I experienced from Kerry are almost miraculous. I don't know exactly what she did that made it so different and so effective, but she is my new massage therapist effective immediately.
