I had an extremely unprofessional experience with Saralynn as my lash technician. She mixed up our appointment time twice, the lashes didn’t look even, and when I got home after my appointment 30% of the lashes fell out immediately when I brushed them with a spoolie. Another 40% of them fell out when I washed them. Despite me explaining to her I followed all the instructions as I always have in the 1.5 years I’ve been getting lash extensions from other technicians, she spoke to me very rudely over text in a condescending tone. She refused to admit it was an issue with the glue and that none of the lashes adhered because of something she did, but instead claimed it had to have been something I did wrong (she wanted video proof of the expiration date of the lash glue i used…). She said she could do a “touch-up” one specific time during the week I wasn’t available, but I didn’t feel comfortable coming back to her after anyways she was speaking to me in that way over text. I also asked if she could call me, but she didn’t. I told her I did not want to leave her a bad review but just wanted a refund to which she declined. So I spent $175 only for them *all* (not exaggerating) to have fallen out within 3 days. And she was so defensive that she wouldn’t make it right.

Julie fit me in on a day when I needed it most and gave me an absolute transformation! She listened to what I was looking for and struggling with and had great ideas on what would work best with my wave pattern, natural color, face shape, and even encouraged embracing my silvering streaks instead of covering them up. I went from feeling drab and outdated to refreshed and confident. She really knows her stuff! I hope to become a regular in this sweet little neighborhood salon. Thank you!

It's ok..I had two bad experiences. I got a perm which my bottom back hair went straight a day or so which looked weird so I just cut off the curls. And then went in for a face frontal highlights...only got a chuck of yellow on one side of my hair which I part on..kind of bad looking honestly..but she only charge me 50 for that..so yeah. Not coming back anymore. Hair is hair but money right now isn't something to throw around.

Cristy did the hair and makeup for our wedding and she was AWESOME. So wonderful to work with and our hair/makeup looked great. Originally we had only booked hair but last minute we needed someone for makeup and she said she could do both! She created the perfect balance of light makeup (we don't normally wear makeup so didn't want anything too heavy), while still making it last all day. Highly recommend!

Got my eyelashes done by Saralynn! She is amazing, she was able to make my eyelashes look super natural but also had a great amount of volume! I have gone to multiple other eyelash technicians and she in definitely one of my favorites! She also has GREAT prices, probably the best value for lashes I’ve ever gotten!

I LOVE Saralynn!!! She does my eyelash extensions and I’ve had such a positive experience every time with her. Not only does she do an amazing job every time and makes me feel absolutely stunning and confident, she is amazing and super sweet herself. I actually used to live close by but have since moved and still make the trip every time I need a fill because it is so worth it and could not consider going to anyone else. She’s dope as hell!

I had a haircut with Julie today, I needed some layers on top my hair and shorten my bangs, she did a good job and she was very nice to chat with. However I think the price was not worthwhile, I paid 60$ +tip for this very quick haircut, half blow dry my hair and a shampoo that I didnt ask for.

I have been going to my lash tech, Saralynn, for a couple of years now and she's the best. I have tried many other salons, but have never been as satisfied as I am with her work. She always gives me the fluffiest, most natural fill along with a great conversation. Not to mention, her and Christy have formed the most dynamic duo, crushing the lash and hair game. Love them and their cute salon setup!! 10/10 recommend the two of them for all of your lash & hair needs/desires.

I love this salon! Cristy is fantastic - so much fun and I get so many compliments on my hair. She rehabbed my at-home dye job and made it sing. I look forward to my appointments! Also the salon is super careful about COVID safety. I feel completely safe with all the precautions they have take. I highly recommend!!

I've been going to Saralynn for my lashes and brows and this girl is AMAZING! I've had bad experiences at other salons and took me a long time to try getting them done again. I always leave the salon with great quality work and my lashes still look phenomenal especially after two weeks. She takes such pride in her work and it shows. With giving you the best products for your lashes. 10/10 recommend this girl and its worth the drive to go see her ❤

I've been going to Transformations since they opened. They have undergone many "transformations" in the look of the Salon (the current is my favorite). They also had to transform how to do things with the new Covid protocols. Cristy has done an amazing job making sure both stylists and clients are safe, truly going above and beyond. As far as coloring and cutting, they are amazing! The stylists are dedicated to making each client look their best.

I’ve been getting my lashes done by Saralynn for about six months and she does amazing work. I get so many compliments and always feel beautiful after getting my lashes done, they are full of volume but look very natural at the same time. Highly recommend Saralynn for lash extensions!

My daughter's hair was severely damaged from previous hair dying. We walked into Transformations and were greated with such kindness, no judgment at all. The stylist (Cristy) was able to do a deep conditioning on her hair and then trimmed up the dead ends to create a beautiful style. My daughter is beaming and so thankful. We are coming back next week for additional hair treatments to continue the healing process. Very professional place, HIGHLY recommended.

My visit at transformations salon was very nice. I was able to get an appointment same day. The place is beautifully decorated with neat vintage salon things! Chairs with rhinestones, fancy chandeliers, vintage wash chairs and a fabulously decorated bathroom! Annika was the stylist who cut my hair. She was very nice and chatty. Open to my ideas about what I wanted for my hair. I hadn’t been to a salon for a hair cut in 6 years. She made the experience very nice. I brought my children with me. She was very patient with them. They hadn’t been to many public places this past pandemic year and half!! So this Salon visit was a new thing for them. She naturally answered their questions and satiated their growing curiosity about all the things inside the salon! The charge for my hair cut was $45. She washed my hair, cut and styled it and gave me tips about how to style and dry it. She spent over an hour on me. No rushing through or making me feel like a weirdo because it had been so long since my last haircut. So I tipped her generously for all that. I have received several comments from complete strangers on my haircut! I would recommend this place.

Saralynn is the best eyelash aesthetician there is in the whole Portland area. I have been to many others with disastrous results. I was lucky enough to find her at a different salon with a Groupon. She only specializes in eyelashes which I prefer because that makes her an expert! I don’t have to tell her what I want, she knows exactly how to place them and the right amount to use to make them look perfectly natural. I have had more compliments on my eyes since I started going to see her. Nobody can tell if they’re mine or if they’re extensions, which I think is the perfect complement to Saralynn. I never have a problem with them falling out, just the natural grow out. I highly recommend her with five ⭐️. I would only hope she doesn’t get so busy that she doesn’t have time to see me. She is a true gem❤️

Hair cut was great. I would recommend making a reservation and don't come too early as the wait seating is practically nill. But do come for the hair...also I win these another patron getting makeup done and it looked well done as well.
