All I can say is WOW! I LOVE THIS PLACE !! My hair stylist moved away so I had to find a new hair stylist. My friend said she goes to Transitions and has been going there for years and has always loved the results. I made an appointment with a stylist named Jen. I was nervous, however, Jen made me feel safe and in great hands. The atmosphere was so relaxing and everyone was so nice! I showed Jen a picture from a magazine of the color and cut I really wanted . She knew exactly what to do! I felt so calm knowing she understood my vision. All I can say is when Jen turned me around in the chair and I saw myself in the big mirror, I literally had tears in my eyes!!! Tears of joy!!!!! My hair, I kid you not was EXACTLY like the picture from the magazine!!! I am on cloud 9! I’m soooo happy to have a new stylist that I’m confident with. I will definitely be back in 6 weeks to see Jen again! I highly recommended Transitions and the stylist who made me feel beautiful! Thank you so much Jen!

I will not recommend this place to anyone. If you have anger issues and if you dont know how to do hair all the way, QUIT!!!! But taking your anger out on elder ladies, thats another level of nasty. You get a 0 out of 0 on reviews, and i will not spend one cent here. You made a lady feel uncomfortable and made her cry bcuz you didnt know how to do her hair, all that yelling was unnessesary. If you like to show off, do it elsewhere. If you are the owner, Jen was the haidresser that got you this review and the reputation for this place will be on the floor, thanks to her. Is all over the internet now, how your customers get treated!!!!! Good job Jenna!!!!

If you have curly hair you need to tranzitions. It feels impossible to find a place that knows how to cut men’s curly hair, but tranzitions is the spot. Estella does an amazing job and has given me the best haircuts I’ve ever received. I highly recommended her.

I didn’t receive the service I requested. It was more like quick wash and blow dry!! They were supposed to style my hair. The lady seem to be in a hurry! The smiley face pic is what I requested and the other pic is me!!

I have been looking for a new hairstylist since August. I tried several before going to Tanzitions Hair Salon. Ana knocked it out of the park! I am so happy with my haircut and the time she spent with me. I have finally found the right person to cut my hair! Thank you, Ana!

I'm very happy! Ms. Estela is adorable, she knows what she is doing and explains patiently and clearly. I'm so glad I came here and finally got the right haircut for my curly hair. don't be worried, she speaks Spanish too!

Kaitlyn was an absolute miracle worker for me!! She took me as a last minute appointment & had nothing but a positive attitude the whole time. Even though Kaitlyn is who did my service, everyone was so friendly! From the front desk to the other hair stylists, everyone had great energy and made this salon feel welcoming.

Tranzitions is hands down the best salon ever! I have been a client of Holly’s for a number of years and will never let anyone else color/cut/style my hair! The quality and pride she puts into her work is exactly why I fly from North Carolina regularly to have my hair done!

Very shocked at how rude the manager (Judy) was to my boss and I. We were trying to pass out flyers to neighbors in our plaza since we all support each other and she threw it in the trash, yelling “Don’t ever come back in here.” We would’ve appreciated a no thank you to our flyer, her behavior was very unexpected and unnecessary. Would give zero stars if I could.

I was recommended Kaitlyn by the owner herself. Waited 1 month for this appointment. When I get there, I show Kaitlyn what I wanted. She stated “based on your hair color, I won’t be able to get you what you want, I can darken your hair”. Then she stated she’d price me, then after waiting 15 minutes, she has the nerve to tell me, she was unable to do my hair Bc I wouldn’t “compromise” with what I didn’t want.! Really Kaitlyn ? Is that how you treat customers ? I am terribly disgusted by her treatment. This is deff not the profession you should be practicing. With the holidays and my grandmother’s passing, I don’t know how you are still here.

Recently got my hair colored and cut with Kaitlyn and was absolutely blown away by the way it came out. She knocked my request for a mocha/espresso color, out of the park!!! In the beginning I wanted more of a dark balayage, but thankfully she gave me honest info and didn’t recommend due to the current color on my hair. Not all stylists would do that, but glad she did. Super professional and color came out amazing!! Will definitely be coming back

Called to inquire about an making an appointment and was asked if I have “ethnic hair. ” When I answered I have 3c textured hair I was told they don’t service “ethnic hair.” Really unacceptable and discriminatory in my opinion. If you state you specialize in curly hair you should have stylist that are able to do all curly textures regardless of ethnicity of race. The message I received was if I’m not white I’m not welcome.

I initially went to Estela for a Ouidad cut, but she was honest with me and let me know my hair was too fine for that type of cut. She still kept my curls in mind and gave me what I was looking for in the end. She took extra time to educate me on different tips and tricks on how to style my hair at home to get the most curl. She's super sweet and very good at her job!
