I previous got my nails done at trap beauty bar which were great, so I decided to return to get my lashes done. My original appointment was at 5:00, it got pushed back to 5:30 which wasn’t an issue. I arrived at 5:30 and was told someone would be with me shortly. After about 15 mins of waiting another lady walked in with a makeup appointment with the same person who was about to do my lashes, the worker immediately began to service the makeup appointment without acknowledging me or asking if I would be okay waiting for her to finish a FULL FACE of makeup. I felt completely disregarded and ignored so I left. I would also like to add it wasn’t a busy day, so for no one to acknowledge me was unexceptable. My suggestion would be that they hire a receptionist, as it seems that the workers share the responsibilities of a receptionist which can sometimes and in this case result in an unhapppy customer.

Prior to booking an appointment I spoke to the owner and she told me that I wouldn’t need a consultation and I could bring my daughter in on the Sunday. She also stated I should expect a call from the braider. I never received a call so the following week I reached out by text and spoke to braider Tina who stated that I would need a consultation and that she does not work on Sundays. She then text me the times I could book and then stopped responding (1st Red Flag). I gave it a few hours and then I called to book a consultation. The lady I spoke with told me that my time would be from 1 PM to 1:30 PM. Fast-forward to the day of my consultation I arrive exactly at 1 PM and was greeted by a nail tech. He then went and spoke to the braider Tina and came back to me and said she will be with me at 1:30. I then told him I cannot wait until 1:30. My appointment time was at 1 PM that I was on my lunch break. Tina overheard our conversation and asked if a FaceTime call at 1:45 be OK (2nd Red flag), I was like cool even better. 1:45 gets here she doesn’t call, 2:45 gets here, I call her and she gives a lame excuse that she’s the only Manager on site and she’s having scheduling issues so I give her Grace and wait for her phone call and she never calls back. Tina waisted my time!!! If you don’t want to service Toddlers then SAY that and DONT advertise that!!!

I had a great experience here my first time with a tech named Sarah who hooked me up with a freestyle full set and pedicure during one of their specials. I came back for another freestyle and had the next available tech do a freestyle that although it was beautiful, didn’t even last me a week. I got my nails done Thursday and by Sunday two had come off leaving me in a tough spot with nail glue so I didn’t get my moneys worth. Also, I like consistency when choosing to be loyal to any shop so quality and lack thereof are my reasons for this rating

I had such a great experience here this week! I needed to get ready for my vacation and I was able to book with my hairstylist and lash tech last minute. The prices are refreshing. Maya did such a great job on my hair and was upbeat the whole time. Michelle made sure to ask many questions when doing my lashes and I trusted her to understand my concerns. Will be coming back and recommending this salon to friends and family.

Went here for the first time & everyone thinks I got microblading but it’s just a wax & tint by Lumay J. She did an excellent job & my brows look so so perfect!

I visited the Trap Beauty Bar and was highly impressed with the skill set of the Esthetician, Lumay. I received the Lamination, wax and tint service. She took her time and did such an amazing job. Price is better than other competitors. I am sold and will continue to see her on an ongoing basis to keep my brows looking fresh. See before and after results below.

My Daughter gets her hair done here we have tried Tina and Destiny and they both slay her stitch braids. For me I get to have a glass of wine or 3 lol and listen to some great music. Come her ladies it's a VIBE!!!!

If I can put zero I would . It has been multiple times that I have an appointment with Lola rose and have to be turned away right at the appointment time because either she just started another head or not making it in at time of accepted appointment . This has inconvenience me multiple times . No consideration . I’m always on time for appointments just to be turned away because of stylist after accepted appointments ! I have work and off days I schedule these hair appointments for and to not be accommodated after appointments confirmations and being on time is crazy

Destiny was excellent with my hair!! She made my hair very soft and silky as I just like my hair down. Her and another also gave me advice on taking better care of my hair. Overall a great experience. Will be going back!

I love it here! Always get greeted and acknowledged quickly, they always ask if I’d like a drink while I wait or have my service ! The lil old man is so sweet and every tech I’ve had had been nice and done a good job. This where I go to have me time and a good time the music always vibes outs and I always enjoy my experience!

Lola Rose did a great job on my silk press! It was very silky and made me feel really beautiful. She also washed and blow dried my hair thoroughly and left it feeling fresh! This is my second time going to her and really recommend going to her for any natural hair services!

Ever since I was overcharged for brow tint that was done poorly, I haven’t felt comfortable to keep coming back. Use to love getting my nails done from here though. Just tired of having to speak up for things that shouldn’t be happening, especially when im paying for the service.
