It's a great place, with vibe and friendliness abounding. What really floors me though is the wisdom, passion, and talent of Victoria Ashley Namihas, my barber for my past three (perfect) haircuts. Finding a good stylist/barber is not something that happens everyday, and I am super grateful to have discovered such a skilled technician that knows the art and poetry of hair. Ashley is a friendly and vibrant soul, and I always leave feeling positively recharged and handsome as all get out. Don't cheat yourself with a haircut that is compromised and perfunctory. Ashley is simultaneously an artist and scientist, and is responsible for me now sporting my favorite haircut I've ever had. I give her all the stars in the observable universe. 45,091,098,123,038 outta 5. But in all seriousness, go see her and LOOK and FEEL your BEST!

Ashley does a great job with my thick, unmanageable hair! She has transformed me from a flat dark brown to a lighter brown with beautiful highlights! She always takes time to listen to me and makes the best suggestions! I truly trust and appreciate her!

Ashley is the absolute BEST with color! I have extremely dark hair and wanted to go ash-blonde. She gave me real expectations of what we needed to do to achieve the look I wanted and I get so many compliments. Go see her, you won’t regret it!

I was introduced to Tree of Life when Ashley, a hair stylist I had just started going to, moved from a local Farragut salon to Market Square. I made the switch and immediately followed her, she is that good! I have hair that is thick, naturally curly/wavy and prone to frizz especially in a TN summer. I have lived in S California, Massachusetts and Tennessee in the course of my adult life, and Ashley is one of only four stylists in 30-years I have found who can consistently cut it well. She asks questions and listens, and she understands the texture of my hair. Not only does my hair look fabulous when I leave the salon (her blowouts are the best!), but I find my hair easier to manage and style at home. She cuts it in a way that I can leave it to dry naturally curly, or blow dry and style to a sleeker look and either way looks good. Highly recommend Ashley at Tree of Life salon in Market Square.

I love Ashley for haircuts. She is great when it comes to consultations, explaining steps and coloring and even cutting hair. She carefully curates something that I am comfortable with before proceeding with any process, making me feel super confident. If you’re looking for someone who knows hair and wants to be educated, go to Ashley!

I’ve been going to Ashley at Tree of Life for color and style for several months now, and I haven’t been this happy with my hair in years. She almost intuitively understands what I am looking for when I describe it, and she is able to bring that to life. She also has introduced me to products that are less damaging to my hair. My hair looks and feels noticeably healthier. I always leave with a great blowout that looks good for days. Bonus points that the salon beautiful and comfortable and located in Market Square, so I get to enjoy a little personal day when I come out to get my hair done.

Finding a new stylist isn’t easy, but after some trial and error with other salons, I found my hair home! Jessica answered all of my questions, heard my paranoia and respected the formula that came with my 10 years at my previous salon, even though the color line was different. She was personable, welcoming and relaxed. Not only was the experience wonderful, the color turned out fantastic and she was able to handle my stubborn grays. The price was excellent and bonus that this cute little salon is nestled in adorable Market Square! I 100% suggest this salon! And ask for Jessica!

I went to Leah today and I am very happy with the service I received. She listened to all of my preferences and my hair color came out amazing! It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with my hair. Highly recommend this salon spa.

My comfort place! I've been going to Shelley at Tree of Life Salon for years and get the best manicures and pedicures there, whether gel or regular. Shelley is professional, a dear person and blast to talk to.
