I heard a lot of good things about this salon so I decided to book an appointment over a week in advance for a haircut. Walking in, I felt confident I’d be leaving with a fresh cut but unfortunately, that wasn’t the result. Im embarrassed they let me leave looking the way I did. This was by far the worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. There was no way I was going to work the next day with it looking the way it did, so I had to go somewhere else in hopes of them fixing it. Sadly, the only solution was to buzz it all off which meant saying goodbye to the flow :/

I love this salon, these girls are all so talented. I have been getting my hair done by Taylor for roughly 5 years and she is an absolute gem! From the moment you sit in her chair, you know you’re in the hands of a true professional who genuinely cares about her clients. The entire staff at Trend is seriously incredible! I see Nikki (and have for years) and she NEVER misses. Yesterday, my husband got his hair cut by Taylor. He grew it out long and needed a trim for a wedding he is in on Saturday. He was SO nervous to get it cut that close to a big event, but she did INCREDIBLE! The haircut looks so blended and it is the perfect length. It doesn’t have that sometimes awkward growing out phase right after a guy’s cut. He said she walked him through how to style it and the appointment was quick and efficient. Thank you so much Taylor! We love Trend 🥰

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Taylor at Trend Pittsburgh Salon! For the past six years, Taylor has been my go-to hair stylist, and I couldn't be happier with the results. After losing a significant amount of hair due to Accutane, I turned to extensions to restore my confidence, and Taylor has truly worked magic. The extensions look incredibly natural, blending seamlessly with my hair and giving me the volume I've been missing. Taylor's skill and attention to detail are unmatched; she really knows how to enhance my features and make me feel beautiful. The salon itself is a wonderful place to unwind. I had a haircut with Taylor and she did a great job. It was very comfortable and efficient! I appreciated being able to chat about color options and get her recommendations, so I am going to go back for a color treatment as well.

Trend Pittsburgh Salon is absolutely amazing! Taylor is an incredibly talented stylist who truly knows her craft. The hair extensions she used are flawless—natural-looking, comfortable, and beautifully done. The entire experience was professional, friendly, and beyond expectations. Nikki, Taylor and the entire Trend team are amazing. I have been going to Nikki for almost one year (haircut and custom color) and am always blown away by her talent and ability to take my vision and make it reality. Trend is the best! I have been going to Taylor for over a year now and I love what she does with my hair. Each time it turns out great!! I like to switch it up and she always gives good advice on what to do! I also got a ponytail updo with Ryleigh for a wedding I was in. It lasted all day and night and was perfect! All of their services are great. I would highly recommend!

All of the ladies at Trend are phenomenal and so friendly. Every time I walk in the door, I am greeted with a friendly face. Taylor is the best, I have been seeing her since 2022 for haircuts, highlights, blowouts, and styling services. Taylor always takes her time to understand what my expectations are and knows how to achieve it. She is super accommodating and genuinely cares about her clients.

I have been coming to Trend Salon the past few years and going to Nikki. I do not possibly have the right words to describe how incredible not only the work that Nikki does as a stylist, but overall what an incredible person she is. I have walked out of multiple other salons in tears before, but when I sit in Nikki’s chair I know that she will listen and execute what I’m looking for beyond what I could imagine! Even after years she still blows me away every single time 👏🏻 she is the kind of stylist that truly cares about her work and clients and is always perfecting her craft and learning new techniques. My blonde is so well blended and the technique she uses NEVER leaves me with horrible dark grow out/blotches/orange after a few washes which I experienced at other salons before. I truly used to get anxiety going to get my hair done, but I can truly trust that Nikki will slay every time and I always leave more impressed than the last time! Would highly recommend if you want a stylist that will listen, never disappoint, truly cares about you, their work, and gets just excited as you do about the final work of art 💁🏼‍♀️

Nikki is truly the BEST! Not only is her work fabulous, her personality and passion shines through and puts me at complete ease. I have been going to Trend for years to get my hair done and I will not go anywhere else! All of the girls there are SO sweet and willing to answer any questions you may have. The BEST salon ever! Super clean, friendly staff, and upbeat atmosphere. I get my haircut with Nikki, the kindest & most genuine human being ever, and she has never failed me. Cannot recommend Trend and Nikki enough!

Moved here in August and always struggle with finding a new place to get a men’s cut. Barbershops usually butcher the top and salons often butcher the fade. Took a chance with Trend and I am SO HAPPY. Taylor has delivered the perfect cut each time, even with me changing the approach a bit each month. Taylor / Trend give barbershop precision and salon quality — highly recommend for men’s cuts!

Ryleigh did a phenomenal job! She was patient, listened to exactly what I wanted, took her time, meticulous at her craft, and made me feel so comfortable getting my hair colored for the first time ever! I am so impressed with her work and will definitely be coming back and recommending to others!!! Would not have wanted my first balayage experience to go any other way!
