Really appreciate your patience and understanding while cutting my mom's hair. Hannah does such a great job. My mom has made several comments on how much she likes her hair. She may not always remember actually getting it cut but she does know she loves the cut!

I love this salon and Codie is the absolute best! She is so fun and has done an amazing job on all my cuts so far and gave me such a pretty balayage! I’m so glad I found my hairstylist!

Codi has cut my hair for over six years. I am glad she’s back in that location as it’s where she cut my hair the very first time. She always is very friendly, professional, and fun. All the staff seem very pleasant there. I always leave happy.

I honestly never review online. But this needs to be said. I think my hairdresser Hannah was high during my service. She kept dropping things, was extremely loopy, didn’t make any sense in her conversation, I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time. By the time I realized that she must have been stoned she had already messed up my hair. I left in disbelief because I am a client there and this has never happened before. I always had great service.

I give Emma the highest possible recommendation! She gave me a beautiful cut and color that looks super natural. Her years of experience puts her above other stylists I’ve tried in Charlottesville and Richmond. Maria was very warm, easy to converse with, professional and was knowledgeable about the products used at the Salon. She did an amazing job with my shampooing and conditioning as well as my blowout and style. I will be returning while I’m working in Charlottesville! :)

Absolutely amazing! I was nervous at but once we got started, I relaxed more and just enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was great! It took a while, but it was so worth it. My hair has never looked or felt this good. Absolutely amazing!

An absolutely wonderful first time experience! I felt taken care of the whole time I was there! The stylist was excellent and was sure I was comfortable while I got my hair shampooed, cut and styled! Ashley is a true gem! She is patient and a good listener. She goes to the nth degree to make sure that the customer is totally happy with the final outcome of a hair cut or styling that she has completed. She is talented in her skills and has a true command of her trade in hairstyling.

Came in for a last minute wash, cut and blow dry with a friend. They had a opening and we received great service. Everyone at Trend is friendly. Always have a great experience. Carlos gave me a much needed haircut and made the entire experience wonderful! I left feeling refreshed and even got new hair products that I’m excited to try out. Carlos and his coworkers made me feel very welcome and I will definitely be returning.

Carlos took the time to really listen and do what I asked. I have gray hair and fine thin hair mixed, which is not the easiest thing to deal with and he did a great job. Very professional and talented young man.

I am so very happy with my new cut and style. This is the best haircut i have had in a long time. I have been going to different stylists around Charlottesville but just haven’t found someone who has worked as well with me as Carlos. He took his time, checking in with me and making adjustments as needed. Carlos is excellent!

Trend is my favorite salon in Charlottesville. Everyone who works there is fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch. Tara, the owner, is great to her customers and truly cares about her employees. Hannah does my lashes every other week and is fantastic. She also does an incredible job with my hair. I can't recommend this place enough.

Cruel and unusual punishment for their employees. Can you imagine having to listen to the same Christmas playlist for 60 days straight? I think it would drive even the biggest Christmas lover a bit mad, no? Well that’s exactly what is happening here. My whole family goes to this salon, so I’m in there often. And we have loved every stylist we have worked with (shout out to Maria who does an awesome kids cut). At the beginning of November I noticed they were playing Christmas music. A little odd I thought, but maybe that day someone was just real excited and the season has been creeping earlier each year. Imagine my surprise when today I went in for my own cut and they were playing the same playlist. Turns out the owner wants this played EVERY day until the 25th. Now I don’t mean to be a Scrooge. In fact, I think Christmas is a great time to show extra appreciation for your employees and service providers. So I’d like to implore the owner to maybe put on some OutKast, maybe a little James Brown? Can we get funky in here instead? Anything but Bing Crosby for the 700th time. Please and Thank you.

Edit: I’ve been to Abby a few times now and she never disappoints! Absolutely love it here. Just a really cool atmosphere. I was a first time client and I’m excited to go back! I was looking for an alt hairstylist in Charlottesville for a while, and Abby just gets it.

Highly recommend this location for a haircut of any style. My stylist, Meranda, took excellent and attentive care to my hair and turned my 3 months disaster hair into a part of me I am proud to have.

Jenna is very knowledgeable and explained why she chose the products for my skin. The room is very calming to start and Jenna’s voice and technique left me so relaxed, I think I fell asleep at one point. Most importantly, my skin looked amazing after she worked her magic. I have already rebooked and definitely recommend!
