I was talking to my stylist Naomi Gavin today, while I was getting my haircut, and learned that she has been at Treo Organic Salon for almost 2 years. I always get great cuts and appreciate that I NEVER have to worry about it. I'm sorry I didn't leave a review sooner. Thank you Naomi!

Callie has been my stylist for more than four years and I realized it is time I left a review. I cannot say enough good things about her or the salon. She has always been transparent on the cost and what can be achieved during the appointment. I know that I can trust her to give me her honest opinion on what will look good given my hair type. Everyone I have interacted with at the salon has been kind and professional. I can’t recommend Callie or the salon more!

Oct 2023 Update: I have reduce my rating from 5 stars to 1 star (also I am pretty late posting this but a picture on Instagram reminded me post this updated review). I made an appointment for a partial hair balayage in October 2023. After I sat down, Callie told me there was no way she was going to do a partial and that I needed to get a full. Then she went on to say she won't use foil either because she doesn't use it anymore. Having had a good experience previously, I trusted her assessment. I have dark hair and after paying about $500, I walked out with my hair not looking any different from when I walked in. She stated that I would need to come back for a longer lightening appointment that costs over $750. I showed her a picture of her work (that's on this review) from a couple years ago, that was a partial balayage and a result of just one session. And she proceeded to feign ignorance. I was so disappointed because it just seemed like a money grabbing scheme. I mean I get that times are hard....but that's just shady. I wish I had said no to a full balayage that was forced upon me. I didn't feel like I had a say tho, she was so decisive in stating that she would not do a partial balayage for me AFTER i'd sat down. In hindsight I feel like she took advantage of the trust I had in her. I will not be a patron at Treo ever again. __________________________ Love love love Callie. She creates magic. They use all organic and mostly vegan hair products, so at least you're, in some small way, not contributing to emissions (unlike most other aresol based products). Be ready to invest some $$$$ but so so so worth it! Customer for life. ❤️

Cannot say enough good things about Kyung! Loved how she got my hair to the exact blonde I was looking for, the cut is great, and her sweet vibe was just so lovely. She’s wildly talented!!!

Sarah and her “crew” at Treo Organic Salon are the best. Meticulously clean operation, only safe and healthy products used and, most importantly, all staff are skilled, professional and friendly. I keep going back because they make me look and feel great.

I cannot say enough good things about Kyung. She is a color specialist in fact the best in my opinion! You need to book well in advance, the salon is always busy but trust me it’s worth the wait. I’m a loyal customer been going since they opened!

I have been going to Treo for numerous services since it opened. I love everyone who I have seen there, from the hair color and cuts to the eyebrow shaping and tinting. My most recent experience was last week for eyebrow shaping and tinting and I loved the attention to customer service as well as the look of my entire face as I left the salon. I always bump into people I know there too and the shop was bustling with people getting their hair done as well as other services. Always an outstanding experience at Treo if you are looking for that great hair salon with additional services! Can't recommend enough.

I wish I could share the experience of others. I have a lot of hair and wanted movement and flit. When I needed a freshener after a couple weeks because it I just too heavy and styling was impossible, my hair was thinned out which wasnt the right approach and back to square one with noticable chunks of hair that isnt blending with the rest of the hair. Thinning sheers arent the answer. Good thin for summer and hair clips as this is the only way I can wear my hair.

Love Treo! I've seen Callie and Leora and they are both so wonderful and do an amazing job. A lot of my friends go to Treo and they're happy with their stylists so it seems like you can't go wrong here. Their products are great too ... all smell so good and no plastic packaging.

Beware! They don't have a proper cancellation policy. If you can't make your appointment then they will just charge you for the full hair service! I have a sick infant and she had an episode and fell asleep on me and I completely forgot my appointment. 10 minutes after my appointment time they called me, but by then they said it was too late for me to come in. I talked to the manager who talked to the salon owner and they called me back and said she would still charge me the full $200 for my missed hair appointment. I'm doubt that's even legal - charging me for services I didn't receive. I'll dispute this charge with my credit card company and also research if it's legal in Washington. I was just a mom trying to get her hair done with a sick infant. I'm sure all you moms know how hard it is to do anything for yourself in the first year. And in the end baby was woken up crying by her mama upset talking on the phone. I've had my hair done there numerous times. So don't think you'll become a valued client.

I can't say enough good things about Leah at Treo. I mean it when I say that she is the best hairstylist I've had in my 30 years of getting haircuts. Every time I go in, I leave feeling so beautiful and happy with the cut. I recently decided to cut my long hair into a bob and she took so much time and care with it. I could not be happier and I've been getting compliments nonstop. Go see Leah, you won't regret it!

I have been looking for a great salon for years. Stumbled upon Treo and Naomi and my experience will have be going back. I already on my third appt set up with Naomi. I have long, thick hair and she knows exactly how to make it look so beautiful.

Love this salon, everyone is so kind and I love my hair color after seeing Callie! She did a wonderful job listening and giving advice about what was best for my hair. Rarely do I immediately love my hair color when leaving the salon - but when Callie handed me the mirror I LOVED it. Will definitely be a loyal customer & fan of hers. The salon's commitment to sustainability is a huge plus! Love that they are plastic free.

This summer an allergy test indicated that I had an allergy to ppd within hair dye. In my research I landed upon Treo. I connected with Sarah, the owner, sharing with her about my condition and asking her a list of questions and concerns I had. I was very hesitant to get my hair done, knowing I’ve had allergic reactions to hair dye in the past. She was always very responsive, understanding and it was evident she cared about all clients that walked into her salon. She insisted I get a patch test done prior to my appointment, discussed my options and connected me with the fabulous Kyung! Kyung took great care of me, made me feel safe and transformed my hair just how I was envisioning. So much appreciation for Sarah, Kyung and the Treo family for such an incredible experience. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Wow! I am so impressed with Treo Organic salon! It is beautiful, clean and the ambiance and vibe is just absolutely amazing. You can tell the owner went to great lengths to make a relaxing and comforting environment. It feels so good knowing that only organic treatments were being used on my hair. Sarah, the owner, did my color and it turned out absolutely beautiful! She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable in addition to being warm, welcoming and fun to chat with. In fact, I even got several compliments from strangers on my hair. I highly recommend this salon. It’s the best salon I’ve ever been to! Thank you, Treo!! You have a new loyal customer. Been coming here for several years now and Callie has been incredible with everything I've brought to her! She's helped my natural texture & color really shine as well as helping me try new things. If we leave West Seattle, I will still 100% come here :)

Callie is absolutely incredible! I have been going to her regularly for a couple years now, and still to this day I am amazed at how talented she is. I always get compliments on my hair and I owe that to her! My Mother in law was so obsessed with my results that she now is a regular with her as well now too! Callie is a true artist who cares very much about the people who sit in her chair. I always leave in a better mood because her personality is uplifting! I couldn't recommend her enough.

I have been going to treo for over 2 years now and cannot say enough good things! Finding a salon that cares about the ingredients in their products and advocating for cleaner and less toxic ingredients is what drew me to this salon. But what keeps me going back is the amazing work the stylists do, especially Callie! I’ve finally been able to find someone who specializes in blonding that can really make me look and feel like a million dollars! True artists 💗

I have struggled for years to find a colorist I trust for my hair, until Callie at Treo! She is absolutely AMAZING and has transformed by hair. She always know exactly what to do to get my hair to look how I want it to be and is always open and honest about how we can achieve the hair goals I want. She is truly an expert in blonding and anyone would be lucky to have her. Plus she is so much fun to be around, I look forward to seeing her every few months :)

I'm a last minute planner, so for years I've asked for whoever was available to cut my hair at Treo - at this point I've had my hair done by almost everyone there and I have left feeling amazing every time. The people are wonderful and the vibe is so relaxing. I absolutely love this place.

I’ve been seeing Kotay at Treo for a few years and I’ve never loved my hair as much as I currently do. Treo is a beautiful Salon with easy parking, it smells SO good, and they have great (and transparent) Covid protocols in place. Kotay is a color master and always makes me feel gorgeous and refreshed. I trust her completely with my hair (and that’s a HUGE compliment from my Type A personality). I have many friend who now see Kotay and other stylist at the salon and we all feel like we have finally hit the hair jackpot! I also want to add that while the prices might seem on the higher end, you are truly getting what you pay for: experience, products, fair wages, a beautiful salon, and results that are stunning. Please never leave me, Kotay!

Moved to WA a year ago and I've been roaming around the greater Seattle area looking for my hair home - I finally found it! I went to Sarah for my cut, grey-coverage color / painted highlights and love the outcome! Sarah was able to match my color closely to some Pinterest inspiration I had and she wasn't afraid to tell me when some of my ideas wouldn't work. She clearly knows her craft and I'm so happy I found my spot. Seeing some of the other hair artists work in this spot, it looks like there is a lot of talent here! Finding a salon that also focuses on using clean, organic products is icing on the cake :)

Truth: someone did a double take and stopped me on the street shortly after Leah did my balayage to tell me "Oh my gosh, gorgeous color, never do anything different!" First time that's happened to me, thank you Leah! Also really impressed by their sustainability actions, keeping workers and customers safe and chemical free is hard in the beauty industry. 🙌

WARNING! DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Callie destroyed my sisters hair! She over processed, turned her beautiful blonde hair pure gray& treated her terrible!. She lied about what she did to her hair and refused to reimburse her 500! Overcharged & would not own up to it! Simply the nightmare no one should ever go through when you're trying to treat yourself. THEY DO NOT DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR BUT THERE WAS NO OPTION FOR ZERO STARS.
