I had the pleasure of having my hair done by Melanie and Nicole, and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Not only did they take great care in understanding exactly what I wanted, but they also gave me a fresh, stunning look that I absolutely love. The attention to detail and the professionalism was impressive, especially considering they’re a student. I’m excited to see where they go with their skills in the future—definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a top-notch hair experience!

I had the pleasure of having my hair done by a student named Melanie B. I had no idea if she had had any experience with an individual with my type of hair. My hair is coarse and tangles extremely easily. Melanie took her time to ensure my hair was in it's best condition. I feel very confident in her abilities to properly take care of anyone's hair.. I have been only asking for her ever since she did my hair. Thank you Melanie for the fantastic job !!

Loved my experience at Tricoci! A friend recommended I give it a try after I loved her haircut. I asked for layers that would add volume and texture to my boring hair. The student, Alexandra, was super friendly and patient. She received great instruction from her teacher and they both worked together to give me an excellent haircut. I’m in love with my hair!

Karen was thorough during the facemapping. I will consider doing a facial with her in the future. Asianay was very patient and careful throughout the whole process (spa manicure and haircut). It was a pleasure to be attended by her. Will be returning!

It’s an awesome opportunity to bring your kids to this cosmetology school. Students are learning , they do a really good job and they are friendly. Teachers are always checking every step of there process.

Just got a Signature Facial with added Serum with LED….. A true pampering to start out the New Year. Charday was very professional, kind and gentle. She explained the procedures as she progressed with the facial. On a previous visit I also got my brows tinted and got lash enhancements for the first time, done by Ciara. I’ve already booked my next appointment!

Eliana! Thank you for assuring me and helping me over come my fear of trusting someone with my hair! It’s been years since I let someone cut my hair professionally…I’m so happy with my cut and style! You did such a great job and you have a forever customer in me wherever you go! Great instructors and supportive of their students. My son also got a cut with the barbers in the back and instructor and he loved his cut. Thank you guys!!!!

It was hard to make appointment had to call a few times no front desk was available my appointment was for mani pedi I expressed to them that the Sheridan location was going thru renovation and they were the my only option the day before appt the they called to cancel due to rain apparently it flooded the area where they do these services I complained and asked when will it be a better time to come in and was giving no option to reschedule and they never called to reschedule after things were back up and running

I don’t recommend this school if you want to learn. There was so much drama between students and teachers. Some of the students come from questionable environments. Half of the class can’t pass a basic test, so they retake it until they pass. There’s so much drama between everyone. You don’t learn anything. You’re either playing candy crush on your tablet or literally counting every minute so you can leave. Teachers either disappear after 2 pm or give you attitude( is Ms Pam teaching you a crooked haircut). I recommend pivot point.

I had a lovely young woman, Jess, cut my hair. She was honest and said she was new. I showed what I was looking for, which was at shoulder or just above it but not chin length. I also have wavy/loose curl with thin textured hair. She wasn't experienced with curly hair but I thought, she has to start somewhere. Since she was so honest with me, I was going to be honest with her, especially after asking when I had my last hair cut. I told her it's been years. I battle with depression since I was young and had an appt to get my hair done right when the pandemic hot and had to cancel. I haven't really gone back since. I've been cutting it to simply to trim the ends. I also told her the past year had been rough for me watching my mom have a stroke, develop dementia and over the course of a year slowly decline to eventually passing before Christmas. Since then I've kind of neglected how I was looking, just looking presentable. I told my daughter's graduation is at thr end of the month and it's going to be crazy. I won't have time to get my hair done. By the time she done, her instructor checked it and corrected a few places, she told Jess, she did a great job. I agree. I left feel good inside and out. Thank you for helping smile that day.

I made an appointment full highlights on shorter hair. I am extremely happy with the results. Kieayla, Marilyn and instructor Christian were the best. The girls did a wonderful job. They asked Christian if they had questions and Christian was always there to help. I walked out looking and feeling beautiful. I am very happy with my service. You also are treated very well by all the staff. I will definitely come for a hair cut and highlights again. It is a great place!

I wish I could have left a good review but unfortunately that’s not the case. I had been looking forward to my scheduled hair appointment I made a week ago. I spoke to John and he set up the appointment for highlights, color & cut. I called the day of my appointment & once again spoke to John who confirmed the time. So I arrive at my scheduled time to only be told by who I assume was the manager that I was scheduled too late in the day to get all the services done. That I would have to schedule another day. This is very unprofessional and the front desk should be well informed of the policies. I take this as a sign, I’m better off sticking to a professional hair salon that doesn’t inconvenience their clients & sticks to the scheduled time & provides all services requested!

If you’re gonna go as a student do not go here! They do not even show you how to do acrylic nails & more that you were promised !even though it’s part of ur tuition of 16k+ more !!!! Their excuse was “we don’t have a teacher right now so they can’t teach you that” 😂.also seen a girl two days away from her graduation date get kicked out because of a teacher!! ! You can even see in the Google reviews as well !

This School has Excellent Service I was here for an updo which is what they called a Ponytail. This is a great place to get a hair cut and also help students to achieve their goals(get experience, hours in on the floor, etc). I haven’t experienced their other services but when I have the opportunity I will also leave a review for those! I have really loved every haircut and experience I’ve had here over the years. Expect it to take a little longer than your average hair service as your working with a student and their instructor. Bring your patience, an open mind and cash to tip. Obviously tipping is optional but it’s kind! Oh and have fun with it! Follow me @sam_bidi

My daughter and I had the best experience at Tricoci University on Harlem we were there on Friday 3/8/24 and they were so attentive to us especially Jack at the reception desk OMG he has the best attitude ever he made my daughter and I feel so welcomed,The young ladies that did my daughter's hair Ellis and Elizabeth made her feel so special and her color came out amazing they worked so close and they understood she had autism and they we're both so accommodating to her and I loved that ,Also Ethan the young man that cut my hair and took his time with me and did such a terrific job with my hair I love it so much .Also the instructors were awesome also .I plan on going there to get my hair colored for Mother's Day

The staff/students continue to provide First Class service. My mother comes here whenever it is time for a haircut and style. Vanessa today (14Mar24) was very good will definitely do well upon graduation as will all other students.

Had my hair done Ethan. It didn’t take me long to get comfortable as it was my first time there. He listened and did exactly what I was looking for, v-cut layers with face-framing bangs. It also wasn’t a problem asking about the products he used for my hair. He’d explain what it does and involve me in the whole process. Great guy!!!
