10/10 experience! I showed Vivian some reference photos, and she instantly knew exactly what to do. I came in with botched curtain bangs, and she expertly fixed them, leaving me with a cut that looks and feels amazing. She also gave me great tips on styling my hair at home and gave great advice on hair care that I can’t wait to try. I loved the calm, relaxing atmosphere, and even the small talk was enjoyable, despite me being an introvert. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I travel for work and decided to stop in for a haircut with Ildar a few months ago while visiting LA. I was so impressed with his work and attention to detail that I made a point to stop in again today. Once again, Ildar did a fantastic job and did not disappoint. I will be back again!

I went in for a color correction for my roots, and I left with yellow hair. Even purple shampoo couldn't save it. Obviously not well trained in platinum blond coloring. Very disappointed to spend $300 and now I have to spend it again to have it fixed.

The staff here is incredibly warm and friendly. My stylist always does the best work. The space has this old world, traditional feel with beautiful wood furnishing.

Vivian is so great! I've tried so many places in L.A., and Trims and Trends is far above the rest! They'll do exactly as you ask or suggest something that is better for the look your going for. Plus the atmosphere there is really nice, great space, very welcoming. ❤

When my longtime hair stylist moved out of state, I was not looking forward to trying out multiple new stylists to be my “go to”. Trims and Trends is located in walking distance to my home and thought I’d give it a try. I hit a home run on the first try with Vivian. She is so sweet and kind and a great stylist. She cuts and colors my hair and gives great conversations. She is my favorite!

Jordyn did the best job ever and was seriously the nicest person! She was very friendly and welcoming, and gave great tips on how to take care of my hair. When I told her what I wanted she was super excited, gave her professional opinion, and made me feel amazing throughout the cut. My hair was really long and dead, so she lighted it up in the process by giving me feathery layers that came out perfect. Could not be happier and I will definitely be coming back!

I met Vivian dancing, and noticed she had beautiful hair - makes sense after I found out she's a hair stylist lol. I only go to her now in LA. She is quick, a good friend (therapist who costs less than the average hourly), and cuts your hair exactly as you ask to look.

I had the best haircut experience at this place ever since I moved to LA six months ago. I’m so glad I found this place online and decided to give it a try. Great cut and a great experience from the second I walked in! I almost never review places unless they’re abnormally bad, but in this case, I felt compelled to make the effort just because it was so GOOD. Vivian was perfect and she really took the time and care for my hair which is so hard to find these days. I’ll be back for sure

I booked a hair treatment appointment same day & I got in. Vivian did my hair & I was satisfied. I’m glad that she suggested to tone my hair color since I had a bleached hair 9 months ago. She washed & blowdry my hair then she styled it & I was so pleased. I will come back again whenever I’m around downtown LA again.

I stopped by to get a hair cut. I made a reservation online. They open up at 10am even though the store sign says they open at 9am. The lady, Diana, did a great job with my haircut. I picked her online when I made a reservation. They charge $45 for men’s haircut which includes shampoo and styling, I just got a hair cut as I was short on time.

Vivian was great. She asked me what I wanted and provided input on the different photos I showed her and my hair then was able to translate all that into a haircut. I'm very happy with my hair and my experience.

The cut hair really nice here. The customer service is wonderful. They take care of you and use organic hair products. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. My hair is so soft and silky. I will be coming back in a few months 😊

Excellent cozy barber shop in the lobby of the Citi building! No wait time, lovely conversation, quick but high quality cut, what more can you ask for :) highly recommend. It’s on the ground inside next to the Starbucks

Owner and Stylist Vivian was very welcoming on my walk-in visit. Stylist Mariel was accommodating, and made my visit feel very personalized. She took her time in asking questions and providing care and expertise in the cut I was looking for. The ladies are professional, stylized and fun to get to know. I think this salon is a gem in the Citigroup Center. I recommend friends who live and work nearby to check them out.

Vivian is fantastic! She cut my hair and it was the first time I have ever liked my hair. She was polite and patient with me because I was nervous, and she worked hard to make my hair look like what I wanted, while making sure that my hair could actually do what I wanted. She gave me valuable info about how to care and style my hair as well. I won't be getting my hair cut from anyone besides her from now on! I would give more than five stars if I could

Vivian was so wonderful! She helped my wife and I both tame our crazy hair, and was able to work with me to figure out what a good cut for me would be, based on how I want to grow it out! I'll be back again whenever I'm in LA :)

Went here because it was literally the first place I could find that was still open and had outdoor appointments. I was so pleasantly surprised! I got a great haircut and she was so easy to talk to. Very detail oriented, which I really appreciated. We both kept our masks on, she just had me hold the ear parts when she cut around my ears. Had validated parking too. Will definitely be coming back!
