I was desperate to get my hair cut, it had been so long since I got it done I lived in a ponytail. They had an online appointment option which I loved. Always a little scared to go to a new place which is one of the reasons I waited so long. I was also worried because sometimes I get the feeling hairdressers think new customers won’t be coming back that they don’t really put in their best effort...which was NOT the case here. I got my hair done by Alyssa and it was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does. You can also tell Patricia and Alyssa have a great working relationship. It was such a great experience, Alyssa is definitely my new hairdresser. I will be consulting with her on hair color next and I am sure it will be awesome! Thank you Alyssa! Patricia is the only hairstylist I trust when it comes to my highlights. When I went from my natural hair color (brunette) to blonde, it was so hard to find the result I wanted in terms of color but also products that would not damage my hair. Patricia took the time to correct my color and now I only go to her. She is able to recreate the result I want every time. It takes time as she is meticulous in her work, but my hair looks great for months after that!

Alissa did a great job with my hair a few months ago and was available for communication and consultation afterwards when I decided to try to do something more dramatically different from what I already had. My first visit I had a coupon due to being new to the neighborhood and even though I had told them that upfront they still spent a lot of time and quality care in my hair despite knowing I wouldn't be spending full price. That being said, their full prices are very reasonable and well worth it.

Super immature staff. I was told to contact the salon for pricing, and when I did, they called back once, then they said nothing and then hung up, and then I called back twice because I figured it was some sort of phone error. Each time, somebody picked up, listened specifically for my voice, and then hung up three seconds after. They hire folk without any social experience at all, not all, but some. Like, mind games and unwarranted paranoia when I am trying to get a haircut? Go get another job. Sorry.

When it comes to being a hair stylist, Patricia is top notch. You can trust she is going to give you the best color and cut in San Antonio. She is a savvy business woman and I respect all the hard work and sacrifices she has made with opening and running Trinity Hill Salon. My problem is with the inconsistencies of charges for services rendered. Here’s a tip: make sure you know what she’s doing and what each service costs prior to checking out. I have gone in for the same thing for as long as I can remember but sometimes she adds an extra $50 to my grand total. It has only happened a few times and when it does, it’s one of those moments that there other patrons around and you just feel like an idiot challenging the charges. I’ve noticed if her staff rings you up this doesn’t happen but if Patricia is the one ringing up she will add on some sort of mystery service sure to increase your total bill. If this were a one time occurrence I wouldn’t be here writing this review. It has happened one too many times and I am fed up.

Love Trinity Hill Salon! Patricia is the BEST and she has perfected the art of cutting curly hair! My curls have never looked so defined , bouncy and as healthy (even while I have LONG hair) as they have since going to see Patricia over the last few years.. and it just keeps looking better! When you have curly hair the #struggleisreal when looking for a hairdresser that knows the best way to cut your hair. Look no further friends.. I won’t be 😉

I have been going to get my hair cut and styled by Patricia (stylist at Trinity Hill) for 9 years. Each time, she not only has given me a beautiful, healthy cut, but she has also been a welcoming and loving friend and role model. I really enjoy getting my hair done at this salon, and highly recommend that anyone, regardless of how difficult/damaged/colored their hair is, to go here.

Really wanted to like this place... was hoping to find a new salon home, but looks like it won't be this one. I set a consultation with the salon owner and I showed up at the appointment time... on time. I was told that the owner was not at the salon and that she should be there shortly. I took a seat and waited 10 minutes... I then asked one of the stylists if she would be there soon, and the stylist replied "I don't know where she is." So I decided to wait thinking... maybe she got caught in traffic? I waited over 20 minutes and then decided to leave. I re-arranged my morning schedule for this consultation and as a business owner myself... I value time and value set appointments. Guess I will take my business elsewhere.

I had a great experience with Patricia. She fixed my color beautifully. I was a walk in and needed some color correction. It actually took 3 stages to correct and she stayed late on a Friday night. What great customer service! Thanks again!
