Derek cuts my hair. Best cut I have had. Salon is pretty and very comfortable! And Kimberly, that takes calls and makes the appointments, is very nice! Class act all the way around.

Took my client here for a 12:30 appointment that I confirmed to be told that she had to reschedule be they made a mistake on the time but all along she didn’t want to wait on my client she and the receptionist had several excuses because my client is in a wheelchair and she didn’t want to wait her because she stated that she moves to slow for her which had she stated that we would not have came we would have made other arrangements please be considerate of other peoples time and feelings we will never return

Alondra is incredible. She is not only super friendly but she listens to what you would like and guides you to choose the style and color. You can tell she has passion and knowledge and I left so happy!

I highly recommend Tru Salon and my stylist in particular, Juliette. She's a top rate stylist. The best I've ever had, and I'm extremely particular! You won't be disappointed!!!

I went to this salon for the first time ever this month and I am always anxious about trying out a new stylist. However, Diana gave me the most beautiful haircut that lays perfectly and was exactly what I asked for. I don't know how she is one of the more affordable stylists as her skills are of a level 3. 10/10 experience.

What a Beautiful place! Converted older home, that's beautiful and comfortable, and 2 stories of stylist/services. Very quaint neighborhood! Tony did a great job on my hair... So thankful!!

Tony is the greatest. Wonderful conversationalist and amazing haircuts too. The staff are all so kind as well. The building is also beautiful and is kept very clean. The only place I will get my haircut.

When I arrived the staff at the desk was very friendly, it was a good interaction. However the clientele is older and can be rather rude. Upon me and my girlfriend leaving the establishment an older woman was rather rude to us, I do not hold the establishment at fault. However, since I had a bad experience I no longer wanted to have my hair done here. I called to cancel, the woman that answered was rather rude. Definitely not the previous staff I spoke to the day prior. I always ask how someone is doing, how their day is ect. before getting into any business. She was very short and abrupt, she was definitely rude. I asked her how her day was she said good. No, "how is your day?" in return, nor did she sound friendly or personable at all. Definitely did not think this would be a happy person to deal with. This further solidified my decision to cancel my appointment. I told her I wanted to cancel, she asked if I wanted to reschedule. Well definitely not now even if there was a sliver of doubt. I would not advise going here if you do not want to have a risk of dealing with old bitter people or having a negative experience with the staff.

6 months after first cut edit: After my first cut with Tony (which was great) I tried different places for 6 months just to see who could get me the best hair cut in Dallas before settling down with one stylist. I got a few good cuts, but hands down Tony did the best job out of anywhere I've been in Dallas, no contest, so today I came back again, and of course Tony did a great job. I've found my go-to stylist! Save yourself months of trying to find the best stylist and just ask for Tony at Tru Salon :) ____________________ First time customer, had Tony cut my hair. Awesome haircut, best I've had in a very long time. 10/10!

Nathalie is amazing with color! I went to 10 different salons all over town before finding her. She does balayage and is great with blondes! Maryline is also great for a cut! I have referred a few friends to her and they love her!

TRU SALON - I love this place! Relaxing, welcoming with great staff and service. Martin my stylist is truly an amazing talent with whom I have been with for over 20 yrs!!! Got to know Martin for the talent he is when he first cut my hair at the Toni & Guy salon North Park Dallas. Since that time I have followed him wherever... thank goodness he's still in Dallas! The appointments I absolutely love the most with Martin is the Brazilian hair straightening treatment I have done every 3 months. Martin makes me feel like a million dollars every time with gorgeous, smoother, shiner, sleek straight hair, couldn't live without the Brazilian, and certainly couldn't live without Martin as my stylist! You are truly the best in the business!!
