Seven months ago I was in search of a new stylist, little did I know, Thersa would become my person! Thersa is an amazing person who takes the time to listen to my request and makes the best decision based on what she thinks is best for my hair! I appreciate how passionate she is and the pride she takes at every appointment. If you are looking for a stylist that will keep your hair healthy, I would highly recommend Thersa!

Having a hair appointment at True Beauty is equivalent to a spa day. The atmosphere is so relaxing & the service is top tier. All of the stylist are well informed & polite. Love this place!

I can't thank Miss Brandy enough for the incredible job she did bringing my curly hair back to life! She worked magic on my locks, and I’m absolutely in love with my new shaggy look. It’s exactly what I wanted, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to refresh their curls or try something new!

I've been taking my child to Miss Nia at True Beauty Salon for over a year now, and I couldn't be happier with the results. She has an incredible ability to make kids feel completely comfortable and confident in their own skin. Whether it's a simple trim or a more creative style, Miss Nia always adds that extra bit of dazzle that makes my child feel special and unique. The environment is warm and welcoming, and you can tell that she genuinely cares about each little client. Natalie did a wonderful job with my daughter’s braids! My daughter was tender-headed and squirming in her seat since it was her first time getting braids, and she’s not used to sitting still for more than 10 minutes, lol. But Natalie, with her incredible patience and gentle touch, worked her magic. It was all worth it! My daughter ended up with beautiful braids that lasted for more than a month. Natalie’s professionalism and artistry truly shone through, making the experience special for both of us.😍

Great service! Efficient process, great staff and a friendly, knowledgeable owner (Brandy) in a warm atmosphere. I called in a bit of an emergency and was able to get in quickly. I really enjoyed my service and love my cut.

I noticed that my hair was thinning at the top and my barber didn’t have any ideas on what I should do to prevent it. He recommended that I check out True Beauty Salon. I scheduled my appointment promptly. They thoroughly consulted me before my appointment to ensure we were aligned in what my needs were as pertaining to my hair and scalp. They were incredibly deliberate and personable! The atmosphere is down to earth & homey. My stylist, Trinity is simply amazing. She explained to me what causes hair loss & thinning. She recommended my treatments and gave me alternative styles to style my hair. And my hair has been flourishing ever since.

My daughter have been seeing Natalie for over a year now and I see improvement in her growth. We love Natalie’s services always professional and very prompt with timing. She received a wash, trim, and braids today and I’m very pleased.

This is my first time getting my natural hair treated and styled and Natalie was my stylist. She did a great job! I love the fact she was explaining everything she was doing while she was doing it. She also educated me about certain things I didn't know, far as treating my natural hair. I got a Hydration treatment, wash, edges trimmed, she detangled my hair so good and then she twisted it. I'll be booking back with her again soon.

I'm very well pleased by the service rendered by the staff and the owner. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I was truly excited to find a natural hair stylist. I'd like to recognize my stylist Amakihi, she's really AMAZING.. It's WONDERFUL to have some who genuinely care about you and your hair. I definitely recommend her. 😊💐

Thersa is a very knowledgeable, kind, and thorough stylist! This was my first time in a chair since before the pandemic, I wasn’t 100% sure where to begin and while I had done the best I could to maintain my hair she did a great job guiding me in a better direction. Her work was mostly neat and professional. My only true complaint is that I left feeing like I was unfinished due to my edges and nape area not being properly attended to. Also one of my flat twist was just not what I envisioned and due to it being at the front of my head I unfortunately had to take it down when I got home and redo it in a more complimentary fashion. I feel that should be confirmed by my stylist before leaving the salon so that the client feels their best. I think perhaps a different style in the future might be better for me and my hair needs, other than that my scalp has never felt better and I feel my hair was well hydrated and my ends, which needed a good trim, were fabulously done!

I’ve been going to True Beauty for a little over a year now and I highly recommend. Always clean, everyone knows you and is friendly. I love True Beauty Salon! They are very professional while being down to Earth. The salon itself is clean and comfortable. My stylist is Trinity and she does relaxed and natural hair VERY well! I love that when I walk in, I am seated immediately at the time I scheduled. They worry about the health of your hair and suggest things for you (without being pushy at all...they make sure you understand your options). Everyone speaks and you are always introduced to other customers when they come in the room. It is those little touches that create a great experience. You are offered water and they make sure that you are doing OK throughout your appointment. They also listen to what you want and what you do not want, which is really important to me. Thanks Trinity and thanks True Beauty Salon! Oh...I also like the emails they send out about deals and information about services and spotlight the small businesses of some of their customers! Just overall GREAT service!

I went to this salon for education on how to style my biracial daughter’s hair. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Mrs. Brandy is nice and patient. She walked me through the hair care routine that best fit my daughter’s type of hair. It was such a positive and educational experience. It was exactly what I have been looking for! Someone to show me the right way to care for her hair.

My daughter, who is 7, sees Ms Trinity every 2 weeks for all of her hair needs, including shampoos, trims and relaxers. My girl is sensory sensitive, so lights, sounds and sensations affect her differently. Even though this makes her hair appointments more challenging, Ms Trinity always has a smile and a hug for my daughter and she works quickly and efficiently. Ms Trinity is accommodating and considerate, and she communicates any changes or suggestions respectfully and consistently. The staff is welcoming and friendly and the salon is always calm and comfortable. I recommend True Beauty is every parent who needs a little extra care for their little one. We will be long time customers!
