I really like my hair cut and hair color. But I will definitely not be coming back to this salon. The hair stylist gave me a price for my hair color and hair cut and after finishing, the owner who was taking the payments added another 75$ to my bill because she said the stylist “forgot to mention it”. Irina told me the glaze is 80$, highlights will be 180$ and haircut will be 75$. Once I got to the register the owner said the glaze is 75, the foiling of my hair was 180, haircut 75 and then the toner is 75. The pricing did not make sense at all. Why will you charge 180$ for the bleaching service and $75 for the toning and not mention that in the beginning. But the owner kept saying she forgot to add the charge for the glaze but irena told me the glaze was 80$. I willingly paid because I did like Irena’s service but the owner is not nice. Especially because she kept saying I’m not loosing money because all those prices are part of the promotional offer they have and how I’m saving money since I’m paying in cash and won’t have to pay taxes. Definitely never going back there.

I came for image consultation, designer haircut and color to Tudor Hair Salon , Maia and Irina have been amazing, Maia was very nice ,helpful trying to schedule my appointment and Irina my stylist was amazing discussing design of my haircut and I got color and haircut that I am very happy with the result fits my face and she was very detail oriented making sure that was done nice all around , Maia was very professional and helpful and great service and customer service!Great experience!

I visited Tudor salon a few weeks ago after purchasing a coupon, and I was delighted to receive an incredible haircut. After growing my hair out for a few years, I took off about 6 inches. I was not sure how it would turn out, but the stylist did an amazing job with the layering and it has grown out beautifully!!! Could not be more pleased and will definitely be returning.

If you get approached by a creepy guy like me today saying there is a limited voucher for this place just run away immediately, looking at other reviews he does this everyday and it’s not anything special. He will try to talk to you for so long trying to convince u in a creepy manner and is low key rude. Girls stay away from this place !!

Oh my, what a wonderful job Irena did with my hair! She fixed my previous bad hair dyes, gave me style, and super friendly to boot! This place has such a nice atmosphere. If you want a “wow” hairdo, this is the place!

My friend purchased a Tudor coupon back in December for the two of us! We finally got around to it and at first I was a little hesitant about coming here. My friend booked our appointment through call and we got a spot a week in advance. They took us in immediately (I came in 10 minutes late and still took me in immediately). And I showed my stylist LIBIA a picture of what I wanted and said “ curtain bangs & heavy angles” and she delivered exactly what I wanted. Clean atmosphere, very nice ladies. Tipped her cash. (They take credit or cash) I will be coming back for my girl Libia 🥰 thank you! <3 (I got hair wash, cut and blow dry)

Got a cut (layers) and glaze. Rosie worked magic on my split ends! It’s been about a month and I’m shocked she got rid of them ALL. Hairs a bit thinner as a result but that’s to be expected since my hair was mostly split ends

I recently was strolling through Union Square when I met a friendly tall man. He asked where I get my haircut and then presented an offer to Tudor hair salon. I was unsure at first but was glad he was patient with me and showed me the services. I went to the salon and got a cut with Libia. She was kind, professional and the cut is gorgeous. Highly recommend them.

Terrible experience. I bought the coupon from Kenny on the street - he was friendly so I was hopeful despite my skepticism, as it seemed like a good deal for a nice salon haircut. However as soon as I called to book it went down hill. The owner told me only 2 stylists will take the coupon and on certain days, but when I tried to book for one of those dates 3 weeks out she said normally they only book a few days in advance so I should call back closer to then. I thought this was odd since every salon I've ever been to gets booked weeks to months ahead, and I wanted to schedule it right around my wedding - I told her it seemed like a weird policy and she became extremely offended but booked me for that day so I thought it was fine. Lo and behold when I show up everyone there was super cold and rude. My stylist greeted me by saying "come with me," didn't even give her name. The haircut was fine but the experience was very unpleasant. She told me multiple times I had gray hairs I should get colored and that my desired style would make me look like a baby face. I was upset then when I went to check out so I asked the owner and other woman at front desk if they thought the cut turned out okay and they looked at me like I was crazy and basically said we don't care as long as you like it. I just wanted some reassurance, it's not that hard to say "yes it looks great." I tried to gently explain that my stylist had made some off-putting comments and the owner exploded at me saying I'm the only rude customer they've had, how dare I call her salon weird again. She also refused to let me get the brows and makeup part of my package saying there wasn't enough time because she'd "had to squeeze me in" when I called and was "difficult" - which makes no sense since her problem on the phone was that I was scheduling too early?!? I calmly tried to tell her I wasn't at all being rude and she was the one who was now yelling at me. The other stylist just stood there glaring at me while the owner berated me and aggressively shook the computer at me, leaving me on the verge of tears. It was extremely unprofessional and genuinely just a strange experience. I am not a difficult patron at all, I am very calm and flexible and just wanted a nice haircut. The cut was fine but the owner had it out for me and made me feel like a criminal for doing nothing wrong. Would not recommend

A tall man stopped me when I was alone in the East Village around 7:30pm asking me where I got my hair done. I answered while continuing to walk but he stepped in front of me and tried to present me with this amazing offer from this salon that "only 25 people were eligible for". Being EXTREMELY uncomfortable I tried to tell him I wasn't interested multiple times. He would not let me walk away and kept pressing for why I didn't want to buy this great deal. I was so nervous but was finally able to break the conversation after being berated for about 5 minutes and walk away. HORRIBLE marketing to make women alone feel so uncomfortable and scared at night.

I got a hair promotion from Gary he was super enthusiastic and was a lot of fun! I was hesitant at first but the way he talked about the services got me intrigued! I decided to buy the package since my college graduation photoshot is coming up and I’m super thankful that I did. Not only is the deal great but the salon is fantastic too!

My hair was a disaster due to bad work in other salons, until a friend recommended this salon to me because her mother had been there and told me that they had done a great job, well I got there and an Ecuadorian girl left my hair Beautiful, she fixed all the mess that I had in my hair, it was orange, brown, black, it was a disaster. I thank her because today I have a beautiful color. This girl is very good at what she does and the most i like from her was she sure of what she was doing. she takes care of my hair so nice Wow, I recommend her in this Salon with my eyes closed 100% too bad I don't remember its name!! but if you go ask for the Ecuadorian Woman you not regret

Was approached at 7pm on a Friday in the East Village by a man in his 30s? 40s? trying to sell me some package for this salon. I don’t know why I even stopped, I rarely do but I fell for it this time because he was also walking and didn’t initially appear to be a salesperson. He would not stop talking to me and became patronizing and rude, and I eventually just walked away. I HATE that this business sends a man to approach women who are walking alone at night, to stop them and ask them personal questions. It doesn’t help that this man was at least 6’2” and very physically intimidating. This is literally the worst possible form of advertising.

I found Tudor Hair Salon as I walked down 38th Street while on my lunch break. Rosie greeted me and informed what I needed. Rosie was WONDERFUL! She talked me through the entire haircutting process and I will definitely return for Rosie to cut my hair again… Thank you so much for the great haircut !!😎🎉🎊

I got a cut and blowdry from Libia and she was amazing!!! The salon is super nice and looks brand new, so super clean and luxurious feeling. Libia was AMAZING! My haircut was perfect and you can tell she’s a really skilled hairdresser. I’ll be coming back!

I got my hair done at this salon last week, and I was given the best cut and color of my entire life. The staff was so friendly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time I was there. Irina was the stylist who cut and colored my hair, and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing of a job she did. She gave me the exact look I was hoping for. I highly recommend this salon for any cut or color you are looking for! I will definitely be returning!

I had a great experience at Tudor! The staff is lovely, very attentive and kind. I was a little nervous and weary at first because I had only found out about them because a man stopped me on the street for their promotion. I wasn't sure it was legitimate. When I arrived, however, it was comforting that there were a few clients already there that were regulars/returning. I have only ever cut my hair myself for the past 10 years because before then, salons never cut it how I wanted it. At the time the man stopped me, I was actually considering finding a salon at the time because I wanted my hair short and straight but couldn't cut the back evenly myself. It's almost like it was fate! Irina washed, cut, and blow dried my hair. To my surprise, she cut my hair exactly how I envisioned it. Im so happy with my cut! She did a great job, and she herself was very nice to talk to. I got so many compliments walking out of the salon & through the rest of the day!

I had a nice experience here! The salon itself is beautiful and modern, and I love the haircut and style that I got. Be advised – if you got the promotional brochure, they are no longer offering the manicure as part of the deal and are instead offering face make up.

I had an appt with Libia on a Saturday afternoon and had a wonderful experience. She was very knowledgeable about hair and different products I could use to take care of my thin/fine hair. The cut, blowout, and curl were perfection. Everyone else at the salon couldn't have been nicer. I will definitely be back!

I just got a wash, cut and blow dry from Libia, and trust me when I tell you it was one of the best hair cuts of my life!! She seemed so knowledgeable and experienced, answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable and did a damn good job!! The salon was also beautiful and even the woman at the front desk was really kind and answered all my questions. I’m definitely coming back for more

I was in the area and didn’t have an appointment so I called & asked if they did walk-ins and was told yes. I arrived to the salon and was attended to quickly. I did highlights and it looked even better than what I would’ve imagined. I absolutely loved my results and recommend this salon. I love the way my hair looks

I went in at noon on a Saturday and had the most amazing experience. I am not one to write reviews online, but I felt so beautiful through the whole process. I didn't feel rushed, but they also didn't waste my time- these are true professionals. I did the shampoo/conditioning massage, haircut, blowout and eyebrow shaping. I have never had a truly professional haircut beyond the cheap places and this experience made me rethink what I have been doing all these years. I walked out of there glowing because of how much I loved my new hair and now face framing eyebrows. Irina was my magician behind the hair magic and she did an amazing job at listening to what I was looking for, tailoring it to my face shape and just being the sweetest. She did an amazing job and she is truly talented with a barrel brush and hairdryer:) Beyond the amazing, kind, and personal staff, the salon was clean, beautiful and felt luxurious! I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to try something new or coming for a special spa day.

Just to clarify- *5 STARS FOR IRINA the hairstylist!!!* but sadly I will NOT be returning to this salon solely bc of the awful experience I had with the front desk who later told me she was the MAYA the OWNER. I was approached by a man on the street selling promotions back in late august. Due to heavy rain fall & bad weather throughout Sept I finally made my appt for Oct 7. I agree I was told back in august to bring in the pamphlet at the time of my appt, but of course the day of it completely slipped my mind. This frustrated the owner MAYA, who proceeded to scold & berate me like a child while I was offering to show a full front/back picture of it, my bank statement or go home & get it all while she was saying I “could be LYING” and “I TOLD YOU SO” I will never argue about a company policy but the customer service was horrid and her response to this was “WELL WITH A CUSTOMER LIKE YOU, hmph” after literally pleading for a solution she finally let me be seen by Irina who surely noticed how uncomfortable I was but was SO professional, informative, and gave me the long bouncy layers I wanted. I wish I can see her in another salon as I still have the service for eyebrows & makeup but this place will be NEVER be recommended by me to anyone solely due to the owner’s vicious attitude.

My daughter bought me a gift certificate for Christmas and we went together for a cut and style. My hair had not been colored in 7 months and had probably 6 inches of almost 90% white/grey and I wanted to grow it out. Irena showed me some pictures (beautiful grey/dark blends) and upsold me to a color and highlights; even though I thought just high/lowlights to current hair, she told me it had to be this way. She dyed my hair dark brown, then put in “grey” highlights, explaining it would be mostly grey because that is how my hair is growing in. We were both there 4 long hours!! My hair is now dark brown with some grey highlights. I hate it, she did not care and owner did not care!! Below is a picture of what she said she could do, then a before picture and then the after picture. Plus, my hair feels like straw… $360 later BEWARE My daughter’s highlights came out ok, but her hairdresser made a mistake and had to fix by adding a toner/color over entire head!! I added a picture of my dead hair, fried and my scalp is still sore and red. I called Maya the owner to ask to get my hair fixed or a refund and she hung up on me.

A couple of weeks ago, a coworker friend of mine mentioned she was approached by a guy in the street who sold her a pamphlet to this place. My first thought was she got scammed....she tried it out..she loved it. Everyone at work also mentioned how great her hair looks. Good job to everyone there thank you. ✨🙏✨
