The best salon I've been to in San Francisco for color services. Iryna provided excellent care and was upfront about the details of the process. Made me feel comfortable and at ease which I'm not used to typically when bleach is involved. Absolutely no breakage which I appreciated. It was gentle on my head of hair. Last few times I touched my hair with bleach there was always a huge amount of loss involved, this is the 1st time none of that happened. Just note I made sure to wait six months until my hair was healthier before continuing my platinum blonde tone. Everything turned out perfectly! I love it so much! I highly recommend, be sure to be transparent about your hair's history. Million thank you's to Iryna.

I got highlights/ balayage with Iryna and they turned out amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I would highly recommend booking with Iryna if you are looking for someone with attention to detail and experience.

I had a really great experience at Tulip Salon! Amber was so kind, attentive and did an amazing job with my haircut. I have very fine + straight hair and often have a hard time communicating my wants but Amber asked questions to make sure she understood what I was after! Would definitely recommend this salon to my friends x

Today was my second time visiting Tulip Salon, and it did not disappoint. Iryna gives the best, prettiest haircuts...I've always loved layers all around and Iryna does such an amazing job with them. I also refreshed my highlights today, and Iryna matched what I was looking for (natural looking multidimensional color). Will definitely be back!

She is very kind and gentle, making the hair-washing and blow-drying process comfortable without any painful tugging. Before each haircut, she takes the time to thoroughly communicate with me, ensuring she understands the style and length I want, especially given my long hair. She has never cut my hair too short. Every time, she perfectly achieves the look I desire. My layered cut and French bangs were done by her, and they look fantastic. I am extremely pleased with her skills and service, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair done!

I recently walked by and visited Tulip Salon and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The salon itself is cosy and meticulously clean, which immediately made me feel at ease. My stylist Amber, was incredibly attentive and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. They provided expert advice and suggestions that perfectly suited my style and preferences. The entire process was seamless and enjoyable. Amber demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism, ensuring that every detail was perfect. I am so happy to have found Amber! Finally, someone who knows how to cut my fine, curly hair! Amber was meticulous in blunt cutting all the ends which totally brought up the curl and gave me volume! She also gave me good advice on the style that would work best for me (a Bob), and she perfectly balanced both sides! I am very pleased. She is now my go-to hair stylist. Thank you, Amber!

My experience at Tulip salon was unfortunately quite bad and I would not recommend anyone get their hair colored here. I scheduled a cut and balayage appointment, requesting to have golden/honey tones blended into my hair -- explicitly stating not blonde. I've had balayage done on my hair for years and have never had a bad result like this. I was left with a pretty frustrating result. My hair looked streaky, cheap and very blonde. The cut was also uneven in the back, think upside down triangle shape... When I expressed my concern Amber offered to tone it more but was short and did not apologize. After consulting several other, reputable stylists I was informed toning would not be enough to fix this and I was told based on the job she did, it was unlikely she would know how to properly fix it. I then asked her for a partial refund (also advised to do this by other stylists who stated they would absolutely issue one if this was the result) and was denied - being told "we all have our own preferences." I had to spend hundreds of dollars and four+ hours to get this fixed. I find it extremely unprofessional that she advertises herself as being a capable colorist, charging the price that she does, when I was informed by several stylists this was absolutely not a balayage and simply cheap highlights. Do not go here if you want to get ripped off.

Amazing salon! Got me in super quick, super patient and calm, she shows a lot of care for making sure your hair is healthy and also offers you beverages which I have never had happen at a salon, would definitely recommend :)

I finally found my salon, I've tried many. Love how she took the time with me, knowledge of what would look best with my face shape and my style. Thank you!! Now I've brought my stepdaughter, her hair was in despair and needed serious help. Took great care to comb through the mats and tangles. I'm very grateful for this extra time spent!

I saw Amber in January and she was so friendly and gave me the exact cut I wanted and needed. I have very straight and thick Asian hair, but she was able to give me beautiful wispy curtain bangs and long layers. This salon is such a hidden gem, will definitely be coming back!

We went to see Tulip Salon at pretty last minute notice for help detangling and cutting my daughter's hair. The stylist (who I think is thie owner?) was kind and compassionate and gentle with my daughter. She gave her a beautiful cut and also ended giving her a hint of beautiful red color in the front which my daughter LOVED. We'll be back soon for the same treatment (the tangles are back lol) - and now I'm thinking of going there myself for help covering up my pesky grey hairs!

Got a root touch up done. My hair looks great and feels even better after getting it done. She used an organic product on my hair. Amber was awesome and I’ll definitely come back to get my roots done here from now on. ☺️

I’m super picky about my hair and I’ve been doing it myself forever, but I def needed some long lost TLC, so I visited this salon on a whim. My dull and dry hair turned out fabulous and luscious with Amber’s touch. I asked for balayage and she delivered amazingly. I was thankful that she listened to my concerns and advised me what product to avoid and what product to buy if I buy on Amazon. I’ll def come back to try different styles with her next time ☺️

As my hair continues to thin out, I leave the salon with fuller hair due to a great cut, volumizing products, and a great blow dry. We went a little more golden in color and I am most happy with it while enjoying compliments from friends. Lovely small stylish studio with attentive service with Catherine.
