Honestly when I want a trim and to feel like a star I come to see Lucia. Unfortunately everytime I get a blow out from Lucia my hair gets extremely hair damaged. I went for a wash and blow maybe 2 washes ago and yesterday I washed my hair and the time before and it's smell like eggs. I remember perms smelling like eggs when I use to get them in high school. My whole hair texture is different there is no real curls at all. The middle of the strands are straight while the ends have more fullness. I'm not surprised because when she was blowing out my hair with alot of heat she didn't bring it all the way down to the ends. It's really sad because she does great finishing job..but uses way to much heat. From extreme heat while blow drying to more heat while flat ironing. I like the way she cuts hair. But after years of this I don't think I can take it anymore.

Warning Against Discrimination at TuNurka Beauty Palace I feel compelled to share my troubling experience at TuNurka Beauty Palace, which I believe reflects a pattern of discrimination based on sexual orientation and race Upon entering the salon, I was met with strange looks from the staff, which made me uncomfortable. When I asked about the pricing for a hair wash and treatment, I was quoted $55 by two employees. However, during my appointment, the staff repeatedly switched the person attending to me, making it clear that one of the workers was unwilling to provide service directly To my dismay, I was charged $70 upon completion of my treatment, contrary to the initial quote of $55. When I inquired about the price change, I was told that the cost was "different for me," an explanation that was both confusing and distressing. I believe this treatment was unfair and indicative of discriminatory practices based on my sexual orientation I urge others to consider this experience before choosing to do business with TuNurka Beauty Palace. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of their background. It is important for consumers to be aware of such discriminatory practices so they can make informed decisions Thank you for taking the time to read my experience

NEVER COMING IN HERE AGAIN ! First and foremost they didn’t greet me or say anything to me from the time I walked in and sat down. I had to walk up to the lady and ask how long for a wash and set and then she started to service me secondly she washed my hair and then told me to sit on the couch. AGAIN, it wasn’t until I ask how long for a roller set another lady tells me ohh you don’t want a wash and blow I said no I want a wash and set she then says oh but you’re natural we do wash and blows on natural hair I told her I do roller sets all the time on my hair. She then says ok and then tells the other lady to roller set me after I was sitting there for at least 15 mins. Now I’m getting the roller set and the lady doing it keeps making faces like my hair is hard to untangle I was very uncomfortable my entire time and I did not feel welcomed. Ya’ll really need to do better.

I didn’t want to write this review because I’ve been coming to the lady who manages the store since 2021 while she was managing another location but literally DO NOT GO HERE! I asked them for a wash and blow which I typically get and what I got was horrible. They usually don’t do a good job anyway but I know how to do my own hair so I always end up fixing it myself afterwards. A waste of money.. yes I know. When the lady with the jet black hair was washing my hair she was literally ripping my hair apart causing my hair to be very tangled and have a lot of knots. Then the lady with the dirty blonde short hair told me to sit in her chair. She grab a brush and literally was slapping the brush on my head and pulling my hair out. After she saw that she was clearly hurting me she told me to sit in the seat beside her. She then proceeds to hand me a large comb and told me to detangle my own hair as if I’m not paying for the service. I told her I’m not detangling my hair. Why am I paying you guys if you’re going to make me do my own hair. Another kind older lady came and detangled my hair. I go to sit back in the rude lady’s chair and she did a HORRIBLE JOB. These people thinned out my hair so bad. I’ve never seen my hair in this state. I couldn’t believe what I saw when I took off my wrap this morning. My hair is now thinned out and damaged because of these people. I will NEVER be going back and you shouldn’t either.

I have been going to this salon for over 15 years Delia was the owner at the time I never had a problem with my hair to get a perm with a rinse now is very pricey .

Do not go hair if you are a Black lady or a lady that does not use perm. These ladies put perm in their conditioner and do not say anything!! For the longest, I've been wondering why my natural hair of 10 years suddenly became straight with no curl pattern. I'VE BEEN COMING HERE FOR 7 MONTHS NOW AND REALIZED THIS YESTERDAY. I normally have them ash my hair and then I braid it down for a wig. I was wondering why everytime I took my braids out my curl pattern did not appear. This is not a language barrier issue, they refuse to do the work required for Black women's hair. Shame on you Delia!!

They put perm in the shampoo or conditioner. I went for a wash and set and everything was fine until I washed it and my hair fell out in clumps. I'm so traumatized. If you have natural hair, please don't go.

They put something in a purple Revlon bottle. Not 100% sure what it is but I think it's perm. Even when you bring your own products they still use it.

Yeaaaa never gooo here please. I have 3c hair. I haven’t straightened my hair in 5 months. I decided to get a wash and set and idk if she put perm in my hair but my hair is falling out. I have a bald spot on the side of my hair.

do not go to this salon! they put perm in my conditioner. my hair is ruined. when they washed out the conditioner i have pieces of straight hair and i just sprayed my hair and it smells like relaxer. i have been natural for 10+ years i am LIVID. do not go here if you are natural!!

DO NOT GO HERE ! Worst experience of my life THEY RUINED MY HAIR ! They Unknowingly put perm inside my conditioner and my hair is falling out and my curl pattern is gone ! The staff is disgustingly rude 0 STARS WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY !

I’m natural and got a wash & blow about 5 months ago my curls have not come back yet I went back and told them and they all acted like they didn’t understand… stay away if you want to keep your natural curls
