I had a Keratin treatment done on my hair on September 2023. I had shoulder length wavy hair. Attallah was my hair stylist. After the treatment, she instructed me not to wash my hair for couple of days , and I followed all the instructions. My hair was supposed to stay shiny and straight for at least 2-3 months like the hair stylist said. But as soon as I washed my hair (after 4-5 days) it went back to its previous state. I wasted all money for nothing.

I was excited to try a new stylist while in Atlanta. I found this salon on Groupon.I arrived today and and was greeted with very weird energy. Soon after sitting in the chair, I realized I did not feel safe having Atilah do my hair. Something is off. There is a vibration of mistrust and it doesn't feel good, esp. as a new client. I don't recommend.

Was unaware of the additional charges for thickness of hair… she did an amazing job and I absolutely love my hair. Would definitely recommend. I got a voucher from Groupon and she took the voucher and continued the service.

I went for a partial color and trim and Attallah was amazing. She recommended great colors and services to make my hair look natural and revived! She was super sweet and I will be back!

To be honest, I was nervous and afraid after reading the reviews, but knowing that most people who get good experiences don’t write reviews, I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. It was totally worth it! I have a lot of insecurity when it comes to my hair. I hated it. It was always frizzy, constantly curling and sticking up whichever way it did. It tangled a lot too. Before, I’d often get comments, mostly from family, on how messy it is. I was even told that I look like a witch. I tried everything I could read on the internet and every advice I got from friends to smooth it out, from using hairspray and water, to a smoothing serum, and finally being desperate enough to use a relaxer, which made me throw up, along with clumps of my hair falling out. And it still didn’t work. This changed after I got the keratin treatment at Twisted Elegance Salon. It was the first time that I’ve ever gotten a keratin treatment. Attallah was nice , professional, and helped me to feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the process. She definitely knew what she was doing. Sure, there was mild discomfort during the process, just an itch in my scalp, which was normal. We had a good conversation and everything was finished off with a trim, which understandably was an extra add-on charge, to get rid of my split ends. Right now, I can’t stop smiling when I look at my hair! I can’t stop touching or looking at it because I still can’t believe it! I’m definitely going to pay this salon another visit! Update: I’ve paid this salon another visit and I am very happy with my hair coloring! Attallah definitely knows what she’s doing as a professional!

Attallah was on time, professional, and gave me an AMAZING haircut. She worked with me before my cut to give style advice and made a perfect suggestion regarding toning the color. I absolutely love the way it turned out and I will definitely be going back to her in the future!

I came to this salon not expecting much since the building it is located in has a bunch of hair salons. I was instantly amazed at the pricing of this salon and the amount of time that was spent on my hair. It was a gorgeous cut! I hope to return in the near future. Its a one seat sort of salon, but don't knock it for that!
