Very unprofessional, VERY disrespectful. I do NOT recommend booking with Meghan. Or at this place in general. The managers and coworkers know she is a disrespectful but do absolutely NOTHING about it. NEVER returning. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for how you treat your customers and for letting her treat people so bad.

First time client in salon, and with Selena. Totally love the vibe, everyone friendly and welcoming. Selena listened to my hair goals, and gave me some great tips on getting there. She is the first stylist who actually cut and styled my hair in my natural realistic everyday wear.

I’ve always loved coming to this salon, and my recent visit with Jess was no exception—it was an incredible experience! After a bad haircut at another salon, I was nervous about getting my hair cut again. At the other place, I felt unheard and dismissed, and the result was a choppy, uneven cut that left my hair feeling thin and lifeless at the ends. But Jess completely turned things around for me. From the moment I sat in her chair, she made me feel comfortable and truly listened to what I wanted. She’s kind, understanding, and an absolute pro. She worked her magic, evening out my hair and giving it the shape and health it needed—all without adding unnecessary layers. The difference between my experience with Jess and the other salon is night and day. Jess has made me love my hair again, and I’m so grateful for her talent. I cannot recommend her enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Jess, for such amazing work!

I came here a few years ago to get my virgin hair bleached here and came out with a bad job done where there was various shades of blonde in my head and blue streaking. I had brought it up to the managers and instead I was blamed that my hair didn’t bleach correctly because I was on birth control / medicine which is untrue and irrelevant. I also had burns all on my scalp. They attempted to fix the job a few times but each time the hair was not done properly. If they were unable to dye virgin hair to blonde, they should’ve just denied the job instead of playing in my hair and then blaming me. Rude and unprofessional.

I had a really fantastic experience here as a first-time client for a haircut. Booking was super easy with very friendly front desk staff. Jess did my haircut and absolutely nailed what I was looking for and I really enjoyed talking with her as well. I’ll absolutely be back!

I've been there a few times in the past and it was always a good experience. I have long hair and I just had them lighten some of the dyed black, and then do a black and purple ombre. I'm fairly certain I had Janine, and it turned out great. I love the atmosphere of Twisted Scissors, and while services can be a bit on the pricier side, the results are excellent as well as the service.

Ive had Selena work on my hair. I wanted a neon green/yellow. I am Latina and I have dark hair. She bleached it once and it was so light in color. No second bleaching needed. Color was spot on. I will say she did take a long time bleaching it, BUT the added time meant my hair didn't look or feel damaged. so I think that was an amazing trade off.

I was traumatized by a previous haircut got years ago from a different salon that I swore I’d never trust anyone with my hair.. but I wanted a fresh new style and with research I found Twisted Scissors. I forget what stylist took care of me (she owns trash cat 🐈‍⬛) but i made an appointment back in August. I showed her a picture of the style i wanted and she did exactly what I wanted I almost cried of joy.

I think I found my forever hair salon! Not only did I love the space, but I was lucky enough to get Connor to do my hair cut. I showed him pictures of what I wanted (a shag with bangs) and we decided to start out with longer bangs and next time I go in we can go shorter if I wanted. He also taught me how to style my new look different ways with what I have at home. I can't get over how much I love it and he exceeded my expectations. Happy to say I'll be back!

Selena gave me a life changing haircut! I usually keep it safe with layers, but I got the most amazing mullet that makes me look like a rock star and NOT Joe Dirt, lol. I came in before my cut for a consultation with her, and left feeling reassured and ready for my cut. She answered all my questions and even informed me on some amazing products. Her work and demeanor made me feel at ease and in great hands. I usually wear my hair up, but I proudly wear it down most of the time now. Thank you so much for the confidence boost, Selena!!

Such a unique place. The vibe is fun, yet casual & relaxing. It has such great energy. I loved seeing people getting transformed w/great colors & cuts while I was there. The stylists look like they enjoy what they do, which translates into happy clients.

I went in for a hair cut and had a fantastic time here at Twisted Scissors. They were very friendly and welcoming, my hairstylist Jordy did such a fantastic job on my hair! Three weeks later I'm still getting getting compliments. I really loved how knowledgeable, technical, and detailed Jordy was. Their skills are high quality and technique was flawless. Can't wait for my next style! Thanks to the whole staff for their wonderful work and support.

Charged me over $200 for a botched hair dye - wrong color and chemical burns all over my scalp. To make matters worse the manager has been dodging my calls and seems alarmingly unconcerned about a physical injury that occurred on their premises. I would not trust this business.

I made an appointment and they called to reschedule because of their mix up. Even though it screwed up my schedule i agreed. When i showed up i was told they were running 30 min behind even though i agreed to move my appointment for them. They eventually put me with another stylist that did a mediocre job.

I’m really upset. I spent over $300 and over 4 hours at Twisted Scissors yesterday and my hair is ruined. Tried to schedule a fix today and was made to feel like trash. The staff was super nice yesterday, and I definitely should have spoken up more before I left, but it was already after closing (my appt was at 2) and I didn’t see just how uneven it was until I washed it. I had brought photos of what I was aiming for, but neither the cut nor color is right. I asked for shoulder length, my hair is chin length. I asked for ash, my roots are bright copper. I explained that my hair was damaged, now the damage is worse and breaking off near the crown. When I called today, the receptionist offered to have me come in and see the same stylist. I explained I was hesitant bc while she was sweet, she didn’t seem to get what I wanted and my hair is now too short and damaged for any more confusion. She then offered to have me “call back” after I “figured things out” bc I was crying. When I tried to explain that I’m on a schedule crunch and really upset, she became so audibly annoyed that I just told her to forget it. I’ve had great experiences at this salon, but this one has been so rough I don’t ever want to come back.

Now that this review has had 2,500+ views, please note that the stars are for Conor, NOT for the salon. Edited to add: The first time I got my undercut trimmed here I was charged $15 and the next time I was charged $30. When I asked why the increase, they said that I wasn't charged what I was supposed to be charged the first time. However, over the phone when I asked about the price they said it would be anywhere between $15 and $25. When I was charged $15, I was able to tip $15 and when I was charged TWICE THE PRICE, I wasn't able to tip as much. They're literally taking money from their stylists by overcharging customers. For this reason, I will not return. I hope Conor leaves this place, they don't deserve him. Conor was amazing! I went in for an undercut trim (aka nape shave) that was a bit complicated. A few months back, someone at another salon cut the hair above my undercut when they trimmed it and the line was *really* crooked. Instead of bringing the undercut line up to make it even, I wanted to lower it (which is more difficult and annoying). Conor spent time carefully clipping my hair up to make a new line and had me look in a mirror before trimming it. It turned out amazing! I'm so happy! Thank you so much!

Overpriced tbh
