After months of trying to find a hair stylist to do my hair, my sister in law told me to call Traci. I did, and she hooked me right up. When it comes to my hair, I need it to be intact all the time. Traci is awesome. So happy I found a stylist that can make me and my hair happy. Go check her out. You won't be disappointed.

Went for long curtain bangs and Debra cut my bangs to my eyes. I had shown her a photo of what I wanted and she glanced at it and then cut my bangs with a razor comb without checking first the length I actually wanted (the photo I showed her had curtain bangs that framed the face and were past cheek length). My bangs now look frayed and will have to be pinned back until they grow out. When I called the manager stated I had to come in for her to try and fix it however there is no way to fix this as I have to wait for it to grow out. I asked for a refund on just the haircut (the color was fine) and they declined. The only availability that the manager had is before I get off work or in 2 weeks which is after my business trip which was my entire reason for getting my hair done. I will not be back and now I have to spend additional funds to get my hair fixed at another salon..had to change my review to 2 stars because google was filtering out but really this is negative stars

I had Tracy do a complete transformation . I went blonde with a bob cut and she killed it! My hair is not fried and extremely healthy. Smoothest hair I’ve had in years and my blonde is thick and light. She is a rockstar and definitely needs to open a shop of her own, amazing experience . The rest of the staff was very accommodating and friendly as well!

I understand defending your employees but when someone asks for THIN face framing highlights and the stylist applies bleach with a brush to your entire hairline during the last 10 minutes of your processing and it turns orange because it wasn’t left in long enough then I think you should listen to the customer and TEACH your stylist about processing blonde hair. It’s ok. It will happen again and then maybe you will see what I am talking about. I don’t appreciate the owner Amy telling me to “HAVE A NICE LIFE” and putting words into my mouth as if I think “elderly people don’t deserve to get their hair done” after explaining that I am not comfortable returning to her salon to have my hair “fixed” by another stylist since most of their clientele are older. I am not in any way ageist and was not trying to offend the salon in any way. Very unprofessional no matter how upset the client is.

The people in this business are VERY nice and friendly, and make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. Other customers seemed very happy. Tracey is talented and did a really nice job of trimming the bangs on my new wig, and even volunteered to trim the old wig I was wearing when I arrived. I just got sticker shocked at the end. It hadn't occurred to me to ask the price ahead of time, thinking a bang trim is something small, and I hadn't had anything done in a salon for decades. Just to trim the bangs, which took less then 20 minutes, cost double the purchase cost of the wig ($23 wig, $45 bang trim). I researched when I got home and found a salon bang trim can cost $10 - $50 depending on the area. My bad for not being prepared and asking ahead of time. I'm sad because I really like this place and the workers, but it won't be economical for me to go back for this particular service. Maybe I need to find a hairdresser that works from home without the overhead of a commercial rental space. But if you don't have these issues, I very highly recommend Twisted Scissors.

My sister n law came in last week wanting an orangey/ginger all over color that faded a tad lighter done. She came in with medium brown hair with the under-side bleached out from months previously. Once the stylist agreed to the color and told her it could be done, she proceeded to start off by bleaching the rest of her hair by dumping the bleach on her DIRECTLY on her scalp and combing it through instead of doing the roots last because it processes the quickest. The stylist next to her, even told her that the amount of bleached was a lot. she did the same with the all over color, not only left her head bleeding, but her hair inconsistent and blotchy. she complained the whole time about how hard it was but still "attempted' to do it." she then was charged $400 for the poor job that was done by DEBRA. It might be time for you to retire.

This salon was the first place my seven year old daughter let someone else wash her hair. She loved it! She begs to go back here and wants her hair cut shorter & shorter every time. Yes, girl, go for it! The women who work here (if there are any male employees, I haven't seen them) are so friendly and chatty. The only negative is you can't add a tip on a card payment, so be ready to use Venmo or to run next door to the Teeter for some cash! Great vibes, great people, great hair.

Good haircut. But don’t bash my country family that lives in other states. The whole time I was in there they constantly kept bringing up politics. She constantly was bashing me for not wearing a mask. Definitely won’t be going back. All I heard was the workers talking down other people and their views on anything in life. I left a bad review so they can grow as a business and not judge their clients.

I was lucky enough to snag a walk-in haircut spot and had an amazing experience with Kyndra. She listened to exactly what I was asking for and delivered a result better than I hoped! She even styled my hair in a way that I could realistically replicate at home with my regular routine instead of pushing products and doing some high maintenance blowout. I will absolutely be back.

First time customer and I was able to get an appt within 2 days. I have "difficult" hair, but I described to Tracey what I wanted and she delivered. Couldn't be happier, and I thought the price was very reasonable. Great location - easy in and out.

I love this salon. It is very hard to find a good stylist that can cut and style curly hair. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Also, no drama between stylists. At least none that is shown in front of customers. Very inviting and staff is extremely nice and personable.
