Calling all blondes…look no further than UBU Color Salon! Ricki, is beyond talented at repairing over processed, broken, damaged, and fried blonde hair. He has transformed my once damage hair back to health and now I can be blonde again! And without risking anymore breakage or damage to my hair! He has a true gift!

I came here in 2021 to see Penny for her work on blondes specifically, she got me from my natural dirty blonde to platinum and still touching it up now in 2024. I dont trust anyone else in the Tampa area to touch my hair!! She has been a blonde blessing, my hair is naturally more fine so I was nervous going platinum but my hair has gotten so much healthier with the routine trims and root touch ups its still long. I recommend Penny & all the staff are always welcoming and helpful & friendly. Thank you 🩷

Charles did my perm over a year ago and he did it exactly how I wanted, I ended up with no hair damage and it’s looked beautiful for over a year :) Everyone thinks it’s natural!!! Such fair pricing too. I recommend him to everyone! I was nervous at first about how it would come out but I’ve so happy with the results.

I just moved to Tampa and got a Ouidad haircut from one of the hairdressers (a haircut designed for curly hair and much more expensive than a regular cut). I thought it felt different than normal because I have been getting them for years. Even when he was cutting it, I knew it looked different, but he said it was a “new way he had learned to do it.” I rebooked the same person 4 months later when it was time for another cut, and they called me the day before my appointment saying he is not certified in Ouidad so I would have to pick someone who is. I paid Ouidad price last time. Not right at all!!!

Lingy did an absolutely amazing job correcting + lightening my hair. If you are looking to start the blonde process from brown hair, she’s the girl to go to. My hair came out better than I could have ever expected. She took her time to perfect the craft and I REALLY appreciate that in a stylist.

My wife came to get her hair colored a new color for her birthday. I cannot thank Penny and Victoria enough for the amazing job they did. It’s a great feeling to see your wife smile when she sees the finished product. Last time she smiled this much was on our wedding day! Haha she looks beautiful and I can tell she feels it-thanks to Penny and Victoria! Penny went an extra mile to be sure my wife loved her hair and she definitely does! If I could give them 6 stars I would.

i think many would agree it's sometimes difficult to find a stylist that would understand what you want done and actually achieve it 😅 but once you do, then they should know they got one loyal customer in you because that's me with U.B.U Color Salon! place is neat and if you're like me who likes 1st appointment of the day, they open as early as 7. they have a lot of talented stylists, so you'll get your money's worth.

Have to say I'm extremely disappointed. I told them I would need the longest appointment time at least 4 hours in order to do the color I wanted. Waited weeks to show up and was told they didn't have the time. What?

I came in to see Penny for the first time this month! I came in for a balayage and to refresh my front pieces. My hair is extremely hard to lighten and it came out a bit darker than my preference. Penny saw me multiple times and worked with me through until my hair was exactly the way I wanted it! I am so pleased with the way it came out and appreciated all the hard work and effort she put in to make sure I was inlove with my hair. After a few tweaks my hair looks the best it ever has!!! :) TY!

I love the area, of course, everyone at the salon is pleasantly, but not overly friendly and that is a plus! I loved my hair, carlos Lugo understood what I wanted. He is an exceptional person and Hair Designer! I will return for sure. There is nothing negative about this Hair Salon experience. I will send everyone there. The shampoo Carlos gave me was amazing and that is VERY important. The color turned out how I wanted.

I was so grateful I was able to schedule an appointment at this salon only a few days prior as my usual stylist had a family emergency and was unable to get me in before an event. The salon is clean and professional. My stylist was Shaina and she was kind, professional and talented at refreshing my highlights and giving my hair a much needed trim. I'm giving 4 stars because the price I was quoted on the phone did not match the final total for my services when I checked out.

My friend went here she was so excited to get her hair done she was going for a platinum blonde look a white blonde which is possible she came to work and it was horrible she was so unhappy and crying. when we went out people were giving strange looks because of her hair because instead of her hair being platinum it was purple/grey with bloches of blonde.... for this ALONE i will NEVER use this company because she was so mortified and she walked around with a hoodie over her head because she was so embarrassed when contacting them they basically told her she was SOL . she is 24 or so now she looks like a old lady with a BAD DYE JOB ....! they should be ashamed of her self and i ENCOURAGE for anyone with the same experience to file complaint to the BBB i did and so should many others..!!!!!
