Worst customer service. I walked around that store looking for a particular hair product. The salespeople just looked straight at me and never asked if I needed help. I went up to a young man who was working there and asked him to help me. They did not have the product I was looking for they were sold out. He tells me to order it online. He didn't offer to help. I love Ulta, but their associates at this store are rude.

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. The technician struggled to match the placement in her ears so both sides matched. Instead of having two technicians do both ears at once so the child didn’t anticipate pain, one technician tried to pierce one ear at a time. On the first ear, the gun jammed and didn’t go all the way through the ear lobe. My daughter cried in pain as two team members l tried to push the ring through. While trying to summon the courage to proceed, she was repeatedly advised to try again another day. After an hour, my daughter said she did not want to proceed. The manager said good, because they would not have had the staff to finish if my daughter had wanted to. And then she gave me a bag of samples for adults (not for my daughter who had half of one pierced ear) and said she would not charge me. They use faulty equipment and said it jams “often”. They don’t know how to pierce children’s ears or how to work with children who want their ears pierced but are afraid of the pain.

Adrian helped me pick out the most unclockable shade match, and was really perfect all around!! The store was neat and all of the other employees who I talked to were super nice!!

The service is kind of ok!, sometimes rude sometimes great!, you’ll never know… but today (around 8:50 ish pm) a Nice lady helped us with an exchange! Thanks for that ! 🙂

Why do I have to join the rewards program? I love the products at Ulta and the sales staff are helpful. But when I check out, the person checking me out is annoyed with me for not choosing to be a reward member. Ulta policy is not to allow returns if I am not a member? Seriously!!? And this time, the person checking me out said the gift I should have received was “out”. This policy is NOT friendly. I may have to shop elsewhere.

I got my hair cut by Alexandra P last month and she did such an amazing job so I decided to come back last week and get my hair colored by her!! The hair cut and dye were both EXACTLY what I asked for, I’m super happy with the results!! She also gave me recommendations based on minimizing damage to my hair but still got me the results I wanted. I fully trust her, she absolutely crushed it with every service I’ve gotten and she’ll definitely continue to be my go to stylist! Aside from her great hair skills, she’s a really kind and caring person to work with. Strongly recommend booking your next hair appointment with Alex!!

I went in to get my makeup done for engagement photos and had to add on a hair service last minute. I went in with low expectations given I scheduled all of this so last minute and with little research.. I left having made a positive connection with PARIS! I loved how my makeup and hair turned out. So much so that I am considering working with Paris for my wedding day! Paris made sure I was in control of my look every step of the way. Paris Davila is welcoming, warm, and passionate!

This is a shoutout to Nan, the hair stylist who worked with me while I was traveling in Austin. I wanted to have my hair look less frizzy and more sleek/shiny. Nan recommended the Bond curl treatment (which I had never hear of, and which took longer than I had planned to spend at the salon), and I decided to give it a shot. I am glad I did! It was not what I expected, as the treatment leaves your hair feeling a bit crunchy and unusual until you can shampoo it 48 hours later. I was uncertain for two days, but waited as Nan suggested. After I washed my hair and let it air dry......WOW. This is the best my natural curls have ever looked. They're soft, defined all over, shiny, and NO FRIZZ!!!!! I don't know how she worked her magic, but I am so glad I did this. Nan, thank you so much for introducing me to this treatment! Absolutely wonderful experience - friendly staff and great result. Highly recommend.

Horrible customer service. Lost my 10x points from online purchase because manager wasn’t able to switch a color product for the exact same item. Wasted my time driving to the office when I could have just had the item shipped to my house.

This is my favorite Ulta store in Austin. Employees are always courteous, and the store is kept clean. Had my haircut today with only 45-minute notice and was able to have the best stylist work on my hair. Paul gave me one of the best cut and style I have ever had... gave me happy tears. Thank you Paul!

I went to Ulta in Sunset center. I had stylist, Nan, do a partial to put purple highlights in my hair. Love it! She’s done a great job twice now. I always get personal treatment in that store. I highly recommend it and Nan.

It was ok. I felt lost in the store and couldn't find what I was looking for. No one offered help. Workers were busy chatting and laughing away talking about personal things. I asked a worker after searching 15 minutes and she just said we don't carry that brand and started talking back with a worker. I just left. Customer service could be better. Gave two stars because a worker at the door said have a good day and smiled. Was the only friendly, attentive person in the entire store.

Ana was literally the best ever! I was there for a product but ended up deciding against it because of some of the ingredients. She helped me find a cleaner alternative and took her time explaining everything. She is very very knowledgeable!

I went to get my hair done, I was darker brown with a little red tone trying to get back to my natural dirty brown color. I provided an inspo pic too. I paid for a color correction which was pricey by the hour, after many hours I ended up being ginger. It’s not the same color from root to end, the ends are blonder. progressively is getting even more orange over time, i even bought and have been using the shampoo and conditioner they said to use. i’m going to have to get it re done somewhere else after spending $400.

Dale, cut my hair about 3 weeks ago and very dissatisfied!! She didn't listen to what I wanted and criticism of my skin. She also said, " my haircut looked like Buster Brown shoe person." I'm hating my haircut and don't know what to do! I have never had an experience like this and wish I could get it fixed but can't bear to try her again. She said she had been with Ulta 23 years, maybe true but she didn't have the results of her experience. I did not ask her advice on skin and she introduced me to skin care person and I smiled and was nice to them but Dale is not a doctor or dermatologist! I was so sad and taken back by her comments and not getting cut I wanted I left politely. Wish I could get some refund or fix without being out more money and misrable!!!

Great, nicely stocked store. I love the Ulta Points and all the scents and price points. Lots of choices. Sometimes, it feels like there are too many staffers just hanging out there. They do have a hair salon and offer limited services like brows or adding eyelashes, etc. It's nice they let you choose a small free bday gift. * I love the points system, but find it very frustrating that the sites and apps always seem to NOT be working in the store, and then CS overseas doesn't want to help you or hangs up on you. So frustrating ! WB

I don't like the vibe at this location. Kind of rude, little uppity of a feel. It's a beauty supply store, you guys can relax. edit: Thanks for replying. I could have made this a weird thing about the way I look, but it's not about that. None of the Ulta stores are organized exactly the same, so when someone is walking around for 5-10 minutes looking for a product - it's a great opportunity to ask to help, and when they ask for a product you don't have - it's a great opportunity to flex your make-up knowledge and SELL ME SOMETHING.

I got a cut from Alex at the salon and ONG!!! The best haircut I’ve ever had! I have experience getting cuts from a much more expensive salon which I did always like but Alex has just blown me away. The atmosphere of the salon itself is quite chaotic and it is not clear where/ how to check in for your appointment (not Alex’s fault at all). I went in a Saturday which added to the chaos but the music is super loud and the register is right by the salon so lots of chatter can be heard from your chair. Overall I was pleased with my hair so much that the chaos did not matter much to me.
