I had a hair appointment prior to going out of town. They called me 7 minutes before my appointment started to cancel. At that point I was obviously already here. I get that people get sick but give me more than 7 minutes notice!

Store manager is extremely rude. Witnessed her being rude and unkind and speaking to their service worker like he was child when asking him to take his hat off. When I was checking out another lady was there also with the most monotone voice, she was rude to the 2 people ahead of me as if they weren’t being fast enough with the transactions. The employees on the floor stocking everything were very kind, only reason I felt it was enough to leave one star.

It's a pretty average Ulta. Products tampered with, empty and out of stock...... The bathroom though 🤢. Disgusting; notified the worker 👍🏼

Worst customer service ever. I will never be back into the store. I was looking for a specific Cologne. Found the cologne with customer service representatives help. And they knew I would like to purchase the Cologne waited in front of the Cologne for more than 15 minutes and no one bother to help me. I had several associates walk by me and never talk to me to let me know that they would be right with me. I am in a retail business. And I understand everybody is busy and they have things they have to get done. This is map. The way to do business you as a business has lost a customer and also lost over a $100 sale. I will make sure to inform all my friends about the service in this store. It is ridiculous.

I apologize in advance for not remembering the Clinique Consultant’s name who helped me but she was phenomenal! I was lost in an aisle trying to pick the right foundation shade and she came to save the day. She helped properly color match the foundation to my skin and also helped me pick out a great concealer. I am excited to try out my new products for my anniversary weekend! Thank you so much to that kind professional!

This place needs to hire more people and pay more. The shelves are frequently unstocked with boxes of product laying on the floor. More people would handle the workload. This Ulta has ruined the company’s reputation for me. It’s always dirty and messy. Shelves are unstocked. There’s always only one person at the register. College students flood the store between classes and wipe out the shelves (which never get restocked cause there is maybe five people working the entire store at once). Also you can’t swatch anything cause the products are either empty or hard panned. It’s just really gross to be in. The employees are much more professional than I would be at minimum wage.

Had an excellent service from the lady in the Clinique section. Blonde young lady. Very knowledgeable, and patient. I left feeling more knowledgeable about my skin, and feeling confident about the products I bought. Thanks to her excellent customer service. I highly recommend. Xx

I came in to get some updated makeup. I spoke with Jasmine about what I wanted and explained my budget and she was extremely helpful. She was also very kind and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend her! She was not pushy on products. She was very knowledgeable.

I recently came in to Ulta to get some lipstick and I was quickly reminded why I don't shop here anymore. Two of the three cashiers looked like they had just rolled out of bed, no makeup (don't y'all get discounts as employees?), hair frizzy and unmanaged. Beyond their unprofessional look, the cashier I got (Briana) had a serious attitude issue. She was being extremely nice and chatty with the person before me, but when I came up to the counter she clammed up even after I said hello. When I stuttered over my words when she asked what my number was (I had just gotten off work and was scatterbrained), she looked at me with what can only be described as the Kubrick Stare. Head down, looking up at me through her eyebrows like some kind of psycho. Sephora has much nicer staff who actually treat their customers nicely, and not like you're an inconvenience for existing!

I very rarely go in here because customer service at registers is always horrible. But today really bothered me because the associate just threw my GLASS bottle foundation into the bag that was sitting on the counter along with the rest of my stuff. My heart dropped when I heard the clank sound. I was so relieved to see it didn't break. But for me to spend my money and have my items treated like that is a huge NO for me. This location has gone downhill. Lynchburg Ulta is where the best customer service is at.

I'm usually dragged into this place by my significant other, but it's grown on me over time. There are many nicely-scented product samples on display and lots of nicely branded stuff to look at. I just find it to be a bit overwhelming at times when you're trying to make a selection for someone as there's so many things to choose from!

Unless you’re getting pick up, even then, RUN IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! The employees at this location are very rude, they will not greet you or help you. If you ask a question they act annoyed or will just ignore you. When you go to the pick up counter they will tell you “you should have gotten in the ACTUAL line to be helped.” This is a terrible location.
