bought some new eyebrow pomade while in town, because I forgot to pack mine. Super disappointed to open & find out that it was a used product. disgusting! Wasn’t able to return before heading back home out of state.

I came to this Ulta recently to shop and had to leave a review for Javier. He was awesome and helped me a lot during my experience. Probably one of the best customer service experience I’ve ever received. You can tell he really cares about helping people find products that make them feel/look good!

In general I like the whole location, although sometimes it is poorly stocked, but definitely the great flaw of this warehouse is the lack of kindness and sympathy of those who attend, every time they change staff but one is worse than the other; right now for example there is a tall white man, (November 20/2024) and really the gentleman is super arrogant to try, I am not saying that everyone is like that, because there are days when there are super friendly and empathetic people, but this gentleman is new in the store and the truth is that it does not even provoke to enter when there he always has a negative attitude, You can tell that he is of Latin origins, and it seems that he is bothered by people who speak Spanish, hironico because when there are the guys who speak only English, they are super friendly and charismatic, they always try to help you and with a smile, I think they do know how to serve the customer, this gentleman really has to teach him how to deal with customers, and that the best face for a store is his positive and friendly attitude.!

Jesse M. absolutely slayed my eyebrows, I was floored. Shame on me for leaving his chair and not asking for his info because when I tried to book again he wasn't at Ulta anymore. Thanks to another client of his from Ulta I was able to find him. He's now at MR Brows in Lincoln Park.

I got my haircut here. I absolutely loved the approach, informative and adjusted to my hair type. I gave a few suggestions and she puzzled the pieces together on how that would look all combined. Thank you Chrystal!

Javier was amazing! He knew about all the good brands and helped me stay in my budget. He literally walked through the entire store with me and helped me with everything. Erin was very polite when I got to the register. She even assured me that the brands I got would last. Thank you so much! Can’t wait to visit again

Me gusta ir a esta locación por lo cerca que está de mi casa, pero nunca e teniado una grata experiencia con el personal, siempre han sido despectivos, nada empaticos y poco amables, en la caja han sido muy pocas las oportunidades que me han atendido bien, pero esta tienda es una lástima por que siento que podrían ser mejor, las estaciones para tomar la cosas de los teste siempre pero siempre están vacías, nunca consigues un algodón, una esponjita y menos un aplicador para probarte los maquillajes… deberían tomar en cuenta, por que es la única ulta a la que voy y siempre están vacías las estaciones. I like to go to this location because of how close it is to my house, but I have never had a pleasant experience with the staff, they have always been derogatory, not at all empathetic and unfriendly, in the box there have been very few opportunities that have served me well, but this store is a shame because I feel that they could be better, the stations to take the things of the tests are always but always empty, you never get a cotton, a sponge and less an applicator to try on your makeup... they should take into account, because it is the only ulta I go to and the seasons are always empty.

I came here to get my hair colored. I left looking and feeling brand new!! ELIZABETH was amazing and I highly recommend her. She made me feel so comfortable, she exceeded my hair expectations, and when she found out that the occasion was that it was my birthday she offered to do my makeup too and JESSE did my eyebrows. She stayed later than she should’ve had to just to make me look and feel like a princess. Her multitasking skills are amazing. Want to know about her silk press skills ? I’ve never in life felt my hair so soft and bone straight. There was another stylist there and they help each other. It’s the most girls girl environment ever 🫶🏽Please don’t hesitate. Book book book! Jesse is so sweet and kind. He did my brows to THE GODS they’re still going so strong and it’s been a whole week. Elizabeth and Jesse earned Ulta a loyal customer!!

This Ulta is AMAZING!! I was greeted very pleasantly and the workers were always checking to see if I needed any assistance. Our cashier, Lauryn, made sure the items I was about to purchase were worth the money and healthy for my skin! Amazing experience, definitely coming back!

I want to preface this by saying that I’m usually mild tempered so I never negative reviews. I brush most things off but this experience has left me aggrieved enough to say something. I’m a POC and I noticed when I walked into Ulta, no one greeted me. Not a big deal and I wouldn’t have cared enough to say something about it. What I did notice is that a white woman came in after me, and there was the “hi, welcome to Ulta”. Okay, again, not a big deal because I just wanted to quickly look for Lake & Skye’s 11 11 and leave. Imagine my surprise when I see all the perfumes locked up and I couldn’t find the said perfume. I am a very shy person, so normally I prefer being left alone while shopping. As I was wandering the store for about 10 minutes looking lost, I’ve notice the employees would only go up to the white women shopping and asked if they needed help. I would make eye contact with these employees after the customer said they didn’t need help, and the employees would walk away and not say anything to me. This is a pattern that I noticed; the employees would ONLY approach the white women in the store. By the perfume aisle, there were two employees talking to each other and I noticed they would send me periodically send glances at me while still talking. I left quickly because based on the employees attitude, I did not feel welcomed there. It’s disappointing because I know Ulta employees are required to have diversity training. So either have more diversity hires at this store or have all the employees review the diversity training because I can see it’s clearly needed. If you want to be racist, then don’t make it so obvious. Regardless, I am not coming back to this store ever again.

I came to Ulta for the first time ever over the weekend. I'm usually a die hard Sephora girl but I herd Ulta had an amazing reward system so I decided to give you guys a shot and I wasn't disappointed. TATYANA customer service was absolutely spectacular! Not only did she have answers to every single question I had but she also was super knowledgeable about EVERYTHING from body care, perfumes, and makeup. Even though a-lot of the things I originally wanted to try where sold out Tatyana kept the recommendations coming so I still left extremely happy with the replacement items we picked together. Tatyana has such a bright spirit and amazing personality! I can't wait until my next visit all due to the amazing service from Tatyana. I'm not someone who usually leaves reviews but by the end of my shopping experience I didn't even wanna leave the store so I knew I had to. Thank you Tatyana!

If it could give zero stars for this location I would. The customer service at this location is awful! It has been several instances where the service has been dissatisfying and I’ve always given grace, but it’s unacceptable to keep happening. I went in a few days ago to pick up some beauty items for a gala I was attending that evening. I was in the store for about 45 mins before anyone asked me if I needed any help, so I proceeded to locate items on my own. As I’m trying out testers, I see that there are no makeup wipes stocked anywhere on the back ends of the walls. The only person in sight to ask for makeup wipes was the Benefit brow specialist. I saw he had a client coming in so in an attempt to not take up too much of his time, I simply asked if he could provide me with wipes for the testers. He was rude and stated they’re on the back wall stations. I told him they were empty, as I had checked them all. He then ignored me and began tending to his client. I was able to locate some paper towels to wipe makeup off my hands and wrists. Then, a young lady finally asked me if I needed any help. I informed her of what I needed (a blush) and as she proceeded to help me, she got called to the register. She told me she’d be back. As she attempted to come back, she was AGAIN, called back to the register. So I sat there and waited because there was no one else around to assist. Once she finished at the register she avoided coming back to me and began helping another customer. I was patient and then when I noticed she had a moment, I asked if I could just get some help with locating the blush she was initially going to help with. Rudely, she stated I’ll be with you in a second. She never came back and proceeded to help the client with all of his needs. I actually heard her tell that client “I’ll help you with whatever you need to make sure you have everything” and walked briskly past me. It took everything in me not to just put down the all items I had found and just leave. Had I not been crunched for time with the gala that evening, I would have. She deliberately left me and my 4 yr old sitting there waiting with no follow up. I went back to search for the blush on my own until I spotted a manager who after all of this time was able to tell me that they were sold out of it. Thankfully, she was able to help me find something else but she was also rushed. This is my neighborhood Ulta and I’m a platinum member, so this is beyond disappointing. The lack of regard and dismissive attitude toward customers should really be checked here. Before I ever think about going back I’ll go to Sephora.

I come here frequently… usually the customer service is hit or miss. But the last time I was here, the cashier, Angela, provided honestly the best customer service I’ve ever experienced at this location. She was very helpful and patient, and helped me navigate the ulta app which scored me extra points. Angela, you’re the best!!!!

I had an incredible experience today with a host by the name of Tatyana. My shopping experience started when I asked her to help me find a nice gift for a co-worker. Tatyana had so much patience, even though I changed my mind, three different times. She allowed me to Test so many items and even gave me a free sample. Thank you, Ms. Tatyana. You made my dollar stretch, and will surely put a smile on my co-worker's face.
