I was in this location the other day and had the best experience with Misty! I am newer to the makeup world and have been struggling with a good makeup remover that won't irritate my skin. She truly listened to me and was so knowledgeable. The products that she suggested worked so much better and were very affordable. She made the overall shopping experience enjoyable. I will definitely be back to this location. Thanks Misty!!

What a bizarre experience. I was followed around by a girl with black hair and tattoos on her neck with a nose ring. She was incredibly annoying with unsolicited advice. I couldn't even look around without her coming up to me multiple times to tell me about some product I wasn't looking for! I wouldn't take her advice even if I had a gun to my head. Her makeup was awful and I told her I used a certain kind of product she had no clue what it was and was commenting to buy some crap from Dior or Murad. You do not understand natural products and it's very aggravating!

My experience working at Ulta on Southgate Road was, unfortunately, marred by an incredibly difficult and unprofessional manager, Blanche Elliot. From the very beginning, she made my time there incredibly challenging. She constantly criticized my wardrobe, even when I meticulously adhered to the company's dress code, nitpicking the shades of colors I wore and forcing me to buy a whole new wardrobe just to appease her unreasonable demands. To make matters worse, I was promised at least 25 hours a week during the interview. However, I was lucky to even get 6 hours a week. When I inquired about this discrepancy, Blanche blatantly lied and claimed that I had missed shifts without notice. This was absolutely untrue; the only time I missed work was the week I started due to my mother's passing, which she was aware of and seemed understanding about at the time. It became clear she was using this against me to justify the lack of hours. Why hire so many employees if there weren't enough hours to give everyone a decent schedule? And why lie about the hours in the interview if they had no intention of following through? The lack of proper training only added to the stress. Instead of providing guidance and support, I was simply thrown onto the sales floor and expected to know everything. When I inevitably had questions or needed help, I often faced attitude and annoyance from colleagues who seemed resentful of my inexperience. It was my first sales job, especially one focused on beauty, and I felt completely lost without any proper instruction on products or sales techniques. The pressure to push credit cards on every customer, regardless of their interest, created an uncomfortable and awkward dynamic with shoppers. Additionally, strict rules about payment methods, where I couldn't even inquire about their preferred method unless they explicitly stated it, further added to the rigid and unpleasant atmosphere. However, the most detrimental aspect of my experience was Blanche's consistently disrespectful attitude towards all employees. She treated us as if we were beneath her, never showing any genuine respect or appreciation for our efforts. Her constant negativity and demeaning remarks created a toxic work environment that left everyone feeling demoralized and undervalued. Ultimately, I had to make the difficult decision to quit after only a short time due to Blanche's mistreatment. Her false accusations, constant criticism, and overall hostile demeanor left me in tears on multiple occasions. I've never experienced such unprofessional behavior from a manager before, and it deeply impacted my confidence and well-being. I would strongly advise anyone considering employment at this Ulta location, particularly under Blanche's management, to reconsider. The lack of support, toxic environment, and blatant disrespect make it an incredibly unpleasant and demoralizing place to work. I sincerely hope that Ulta addresses these issues and takes steps to improve the experience for their employees, as no one deserves to be treated in such a manner.

I came with my wife after a long day of work to SPEND MONEY not STEAL. She has never been at the store so she took time looking around trying to find what she need it . Her and I were constantly watched by a guy that work there as if we were stealing. That’s not right. We were at the store for less then 5 min and watch for aleast 4 min..

My mother in-law went in today for a hair cut by Adrianna today and she had NO experience cutting hair she had told us she been cutting for a long time now and then she had switch it up on us half way threw the hair cut saying she been cutting for a year now. On top of all that she had cut my mother in-law 3 times on the neck!!! Ulta shouldn’t be hiring people that can’t do their job!!! Here a picture of what she wanted and what she got 🤦🏽♀️😡😡😡
