I had the best experience with Quinton! This was the best experience that I’ve ever had at ulta. I got the best products and he was very knowledgeable. Wasn’t plan to give bad reviews but they did me wrong especially when I’m trying to communicate and willing to fix, I straightened my hair at the salon on Monday, and I washed it on Saturday night. After washing it, I still see some curly and wavy spots. I was hoping for a smoother result since I did the hair treatment, but the hair treatment only seemed to turn out just soft. I was hoping to get more straightness and shine along with softness. So I went to the salon the next day, but they told me the guy that did my hair (which is Pedro wasn’t there. So I went back home and went back the next day. The manager told me that they could fix my hair again so I was like Yhh why not I pay over 200$ but when Pedro came back to work. I told them my availability, which is on Tuesday and Wednesday, and the manager told me she would call me back and let them fix my hair. The next day, she called me, but I missed her call, so I called her back. Then pedro picked up, and I told him what happened and he told me you need to do that and that and I told him I did more than but I still noticed some curly spot I don’t think he know that I know about hair after straight and he said he would ask the manager I told him the manager say you could fix it again but he still say he would ask the managers even though the manager told him what happen and what he needed to do to fix then He put me on hold, and I waited for more than 10 minutes. When he came back, he didn’t say anything and just ended the call. It was very unprofessional. I wasn’t even mad about my hair since things like this happen, but trying to avoid the problem by ending the call isn’t nice and professional. It just makes the situation more frustrating. I deserve to have my concerns addressed properly! I really appreciate the effort you he put into my hair, but I'm a bit disappointed it didn't turn out as smooth and shiny and straight as I hoped. At first I was happy he did my hair because he told me he is the salon manager so i thought he would be better than any of the worker I’m not saying he isn’t good, he is good it just not professional. Avoiding the problem by ending the call isn't the answer. It's important to address issues directly and find a solution together. Now how Mi supposed to go back to the salon and show my face after getting end call, it would be really awkward and embarrassing to go back, I should’ve trusted my gut feeling when I saw the other girl review and the low ⭐️do not waste your money everyone, just go to real salon. I would like to fix my hair again

Make sure that the sales are applied when you checkout and when you notice a mistake on your receipt go back asap or take pictures of the ads on the products you are planning to buy in case the discount is not applied. On Dec 21 I bought three mascaras the entire drug store rack had the sale ad that read “buy 2 get 1 free”. When I was home I realized the sale had not been applied. Since I was already home & the holidays had came up I didn’t get a chance to go back right away. I went back Jan 4 to return something else and tell them about the sale. As I was explaining to the cashier what happened she had an attitude which took me by surprise since I wasn’t being rude to her. She asked me if I had taken a picture of the ad and I told her no since I thought it would automatically apply when I checked out. She said it should have but clearly it didn’t since I didn’t receive it. In the end she told me they couldn’t honor it since they didn’t know whether that sale really happened or not. Which again I was surprised at that because what do you mean you guys don’t know what sales and when they are happening in the store you work at. Someone had to put up the ads so as a team they should have been aware. It was a very distasteful experience not just because I didn’t receive the discount but by the way I was talked to by this employee. I would have been okay and kept the products but the experience was atrocious and I rather just get my money back. Do better ulta!

Alex was amazing!!🤩 I walked in with straight hair looking for a curly hair cut. She expressed some concern that I had made an appointment for curly hair. I assured her it was curly. She asked about cuts and inspiration pics. We discussed it and she got to work. I am SO pleased with the results!! If I could give more stars, I would!! I now have hair with body and shape. In addition she gave suggestions for products that were in my price range (another item from Curlsmith was already sold out! I have it on my list for when they restock. I highly recommend her for curly cuts and will be back in about 6 weeks.

I happen to come in just to inquire about a haircut. They paired me up with Yasmine. I had some issues with a previous haircut. She attended to everything I wanted plus fixed the mishap from the previous haircut I had with another salon. She is wonderful and I highly recommend her. I will definitely go back to her.

The salon at Park Lane has zero respect for your time. I’ve given them multiple chances and they are never on time. They don’t even have the courtesy to call ahead to let you know they are running behind, but expect you to wait 20 minutes or more past your appointment time for the stylist.

What’s the point of advertising curbside pickup if you can’t use it? I placed an order expecting a convenient experience, only to have to go inside and pick up my order after waiting almost 10 minutes for someone to bring it out. This completely defeats the purpose of offering curbside service. Please improve the process so customers can rely on the service you promote.

I LOVE that Ulta has added natural hair care to their lineup, but.. The first stylist I went to was Nick and he was cool but I don't feel like he got my hair very clean and he asked me if it felt clean to me, but I was like "you're back there so you can see if it's clean, right?" (It wasn't). I booked a wash n go, but based on the heat damage I had, I needed a trim, so the wash n go wouldn't be ideal. He also charged me extra for detangling without telling me, so what should have been $45 was around $80. The next 2 times, I switched to Michelle. She has the most hairstyling experience, according to her, but her prices are the lowest, so it appears that her experience doesn't match Ulta's standards for a "master stylist" status. Same thing, I booked a wash n go, but the end result was something like starter dreads. It was really cute and when I untwisted it a week or so later, it was extremely cute. The 2nd time I booked with her for a wash n go and a haircut. I'd never gotten my hair cut while curly and I was excited to see the result. We talked about cutting about 1 inch, but I'm pretty sure it was more than that, but once styled it wasn't noticeable. Michelle is extremely friendly and she lovesssss to talk. I'm not a big talker, so sometimes, it would be too much for and overstimulating. I switched back to Nick for my next visit and decided to get a blowout. My definition of a blowout is different from Ulta's, possibly from years of going to Drybar, so I had different expectations. When Nick blowdryed my hair, it was revealed just how bad the cut was and it had only been about 2-3 weeks since I got it, so he had to do a corrective cut. Apparently getting curls with the blowout costs extra, so he said he wouldn't charge me for the curls, I just had to pay for a 2nd haircut. Personally, I don't think I should have been charged for the corrective cut b/c I didn't mess it up, an Ulta stylist did. That's the other thing about Nick, what I go in expecting to pay is not what I end up being charged at the end. The 3rd and final time I went to Nick was about 10 days after the last one and my hair was still relatively straight from the blowout he did, yet he still struggled with my hair getting slightly tangled when he washed it. (Note: this could be fixed by using a wide-tooth comb during the conditioning process and I'm surprised he doesn't know/didn't do that). Again, I asked for a wash n go and now that my heat damage had been cut away, I was hoping to see it fingercoiled or shingled, as I've never experienced either of those. Nick decided to do 2-strand twists, which are more than the wash n go on the menu. I don't know if he charged for the twists or for the detangling, but I'd expected to pay $45+tip, but my final amount was about $67 before tip. I told both stylists that I don't use oil/butters/creams in my natural hair and I've even brought my own products (The Doux & Uncle Funky's Daughter) with me to be utilized. Nick didn't use my gel and I'm not sure what products he did use, but I'm sure it was some kind of cream and some kind of butter b/c it was snowing from my head a few days later and it left a hard texture/cast on my hair and made my scalp feel really gross - all problems I hadn't encountered since switching to botanical/water-based products. I think Nick and Michelle are both sweet and kind people, but between all the issues I've had, I've decided to seek services elsewhere moving forward.

I frequent this location quite often and their customer service is quite non existent. Whenever you ask associates for help, they act like they’re bothered to help you. Not to mention most of them always have bad attitudes. I will not be shopping here anymore.

I booked a makeup appointment online and when I arrived at the appointment time I was told the stylist was running over an hour late. The woman working the counter tried to be helpful, but there was no one else available to do my makeup, I find it extremely unprofessional to be running that late for work especially when you have an appointment booked in advance.

I have never leave bad reviews but I want to leave bad review today because I have to because Ulta should give us good experiences because it’s expensive so yesterday I had a hair an appointment with Nicholas he is Elite the reason I booked with him because he was elite so that’s mean he has more experience than others first I had to wait 10 minutes for him and then when he came he asked for another stylist to do my hair so it’s not fair and when I asked she said I’m his assistant so it doesn’t make sense for me so it was only curling I realized all ulta stylists doesn’t know sh…t . They can’t even curl you hair perfectly she was nice but she did not give my hair volume for curling hair they should know it’s not only curling they should make it look good but no she only curl it and that’s it I didn’t like my hair it was only waste of time and money if next time someone book with Nicholas he has to do the hair for that person not to call his assistant!

My sister got her hair done by a lady named Alex. At first we thought Alex was nice enough to "make time" to squeeze my sister in for my niece's wedding, and my sister thanked her profusely, and showed her even more appreciation by leaving a generous tip. Although, the immediate results seemed nice, and while my sister was proudly displayed her hair results with us, she also mentioned her concern that she kept smelling her hair burning. We just kinda blew it off, thinking it was maybe somewhat normal. However, now, days after, she is left with long, short strands of hair on the top of her head that is sticking straight up from her scalp, that looks damaged, and shows damage throughout her hair! She explained how she's losing her hair due to hormonal changes. Yes, she also has cancer, but has NOT started treatment yet, which she also shared with Alex. Why would Alex (being proud to also announce that she was in the business for 20 yrs.) and listening to my sister's concern, not use lower heat to already vulnerable hair? She even made a comment while working with her hair, that she did indeed notice loss of hair! This is why I am having her rated as a two. My sister is WAY too kind to complain, but I think it's important to let others know to NOT use ANY stylist that will burn your hair after letting them know your concern of hair thinning!

I normally shop at Sephoras but if the Ulta at the shops at Park Lane in Dallas is like other Ultas i will never go back to ulta. It was almost impossible to get anyone to help me and when I checked out I mentioned that to the cashier- her response was “she didn’t know why, there were lots of staff on the floor” maybe, but i kept walking around and couldn’t find any or they were all talking to each other. I finally broke up a group and asked my question. But the cashier’s response was definitely insulting.

I've given this location so many tries through the last 4 years I have lived in the area. The associates follow you around like you're going to steal ( the area is bad) but what gets me is the customer service, even when you drop $300-$500 on a visit. Every time I leave I think about turning around and returning everything I bought. I assume the manager is great at something other than consumer relations...

Store hours are inconsistent with what is on display. I arrived at 8:20pm come to find out it was closed. There were 3 signs all of which had incorrect times of closing. If that is the case I would recommend those be updated because it is misleading to customers. Especially when you have store associates that just stare at you blankly until you verbally ask them. Not very helpful.

Unprofessional Staff get their feelings hurt when you tell them you don’t need any help. They asked me as soon as I stepped in. I get it! that’s their job. But for this location it’s weird all they do is chat with one another and don’t do anything. Plus I just got there let me look around first. They were clearly talking about me because they just kept staring at me while I looked around. I thought it was funny that something so small hurt their little feelings.
