I paid for my daughter to have a blow out and clip hair extensions put in. My daughter has with very curly hair, and the stylist clearly had no idea what she was doing. Her edges look very unfinished and her extensions look very unblended and are nearly falling out after only a few hours. Never again.

I can't shop here again. Maybe at another Ulta, but not this one. Each time I go to checkout they want a phone or email. to which I decline. And typically, any other store would just move on and check you out, no problem. Not this store. Not these employees. The last time I went, the clerk insisted I was required to give her one or the other to checkout. To which I told her that isn't the case as I had done it many times before without giving that information to her. To which she responded that they shouldn't have done that. I asked her to just check me out (I had one item that was $6). She decided to then tell me that she is required to get that information from me because she would get yelled at by her boss if she didn't get it. I almost replied that she needed to get another job because how awful of a workplace is that? But instead, I asked her one more time to just check me out. She finally just did it but I left feeling guilty but also angry. I can't support a place of business that yells at their employees for not getting information that I as a customer am not legally required to give.

5 Stars for Pearl at Ulta Beauty! 🌟 I had a fantastic experience at Ulta Beauty thanks to Pearl! She took the time to expertly color match my foundation, ensuring it was a perfect fit for my skin tone. Pearl also went above and beyond by giving me personalized tips on how to style my hair and makeup to suit my color season, which was incredibly helpful. What really stood out to me was Pearl’s extensive knowledge of skincare. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin, and she provided me with thoughtful recommendations that were tailored specifically to my needs. I left the store feeling confident and excited to try the products she suggested. Beyond her expertise, Pearl was warm, friendly, and made the experience truly enjoyable. We shared laughs and connected on a personal level, which made me feel like I was chatting with a friend rather than just receiving a service. Pearl’s dedication and passion for her work are evident, and she truly deserves recognition for her outstanding service. In my opinion, Pearl definitely deserves a raise for the exceptional care and attention she provides to her customers. Ulta is lucky to have her on their team! I felt as if I was being targeted while shopping, as I was trying the testers for my shade I was accused of doing a full face of makeup when I hade just arrived 15 minutes prior. I was approached very loudly by an employee named Zachary being told that the testers were only for people that plan on purchasing products even though I already had a basket with $70 worth of product in my hand. I usually have very calm experience but this one felt very hostile.

I'm disappointed at how Ulta Beauty treated my girlfriend earlier tonight. She drove 40 minutes round trip to pick up an order. But Ulta Beauty locked its doors at 8:22 p.m., even though the front door says the store is open until 9 p.m. (See the photo below.) To make matters worse, the customer service rep barked, "We're closed!" from the other side of the door when she tried to get their attention. While we understand life happens, it is Ulta Beauty's responsibility to post accurate business hours and train its employees to be polite. I hope nobody else has a similar customer experience like she did.

My hair looks decent enough for ulta. I didn't expect my hair to be great because this isn't a actually salon and I would go back because the prices are decent and it's not far from my home. The only reason why I won't go back is sadly because of the awful hygiene of the stylist. The salon was a mess! I guess she does one client doesn't clean up and grabs the next client, which is very unhygienic and I know SC stateboard would not like that. Hair all over the floor, bowls of color no organization or cleanness. The worst part was the bad body odor. It was overwhelming it was musty and she honestly smelt like garbage. With a store full of hygiene products you'd think she would smell better!! Only 1 stylist so it's not like you have any options there

So I just want to point out that the hours etched on the glass are incorrect and the correct hours have been posted above the etched hours on the left side since this store has opened. Also, the hours are here on google itself, so please pay attention. This store and its employees are some of the nicest and polite employees I’ve encountered and they strive to make sure customers are satisfied!

It is genuinely frustrating that I have to ask someone to replace the makeup testers because I feel like I'm doing Ulta's job. There's at least one Ulta employee doing nothing so why aren't they checking for missing testers? They might not be able to replace it because of some rule, but I think that rule is dumb and Ulta needs to update that asap. Not everyone wants to talk to an employee and just wanna shop in peace, but the majority of the testers are gone. I understand people steal the testers every day, but when I go to Ulta this week and next month(yes MONTH), the SAME testers are still not replaced. Sorry if you see me opening a new box and trying it (I put it in the tester holder anyway), but I'm real tired of doing your job Ulta.

Had an amazing experience getting my hair cut by Hailey. Her personality makes you feel welcomed and relaxed while she cuts your hair exactly how you want to make sure you’re completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place, particularly would recommend Hailey as your stylist!

I am a DIAMOND loyalty customer. I came in to return a UNOPENED bottle of conditioner. I thought I bought Shampoo, but the wording was “apres-shampoo” for Conditioner. I just wanted to exchange the bottle of UNOPENED conditioner for Shampoo but it had been over 60 days BUT under 90 days. They would not exchange. Now I have a $50 bottle of conditioner that I do not want or use. You would think they would try to help a loyal customer…..OH NO!! Sad, you just hurt your loyalty BRAND. I guess because I did not yell or act ugly….No Help for Loyal Customers!!!

I spoke to a male employee regarding an exchange and he refused to do the exchange because the item was bought during a sale online. I was told I would have to pay the difference from the sale. I said that makes no sense when the item was the same just a smaller size. He was whispering to the other employee about me, and then said that I would have to pay the difference because it was a smaller size tool that I was wanting. Therefore, not the same tool. I looked and they are the EXACT same price. I left that store and went to Ulta in Greer and SURPRISE… they exchanged with no problems. He was very rude and treated me like I was a child. I won’t be back in that location.

I started seeing Hailey in September for a haircut and I instantly loved her work. As the new year was coming, I decided to go back to Blonde after taking off 9 months of not doing anything to my hair. Mind you my hair is long and dark! I had my 1st session on 12/30 and my second one on 1/27. I am BLONDE, BLONDE! My hair is healthy, clean, ZERO damage and it's all thanks to Hailey!! I look forward to my monthly visits with her because she takes such good care of me! Definitely recommend her for any salon needs.

This was my first visit to the Ulta at this location. I decided to kill two birds with one stone after my trip into Ingles. It wasn’t far from Ingles and wasn’t hard to find. They have started an early early Black Friday sale. I went in for an eyebrow pencil, and was helped by the friendliest young man. He offered suggestions and showed me the different eyebrow products they carry. It was such a pleasant shopping experience there, and it saved me from having to stop at Ulta in Easley.
