My wife and I came in to get our makeup done the day of wedding. We are shy of the beauty world (hair, makeup, etc) but thought it'd be a fun treat to doll ourselves up. We couldn't have gotten luckier than being assigned Tashika as our make up artist. She made us feel so at ease and was able to make us feel beautiful while also staying true to our very simple prefernces. When she found out we were getting married in a few hours, she was even able to squeeze me in to style my hair. Our experience with Tashika made the day that much more special!

I was nervous getting my brows done with having brow piercings, but Tessa took extra caution and care with me. The service she provided was very quick, painless, and provided perfect results! I recently had the best experience ever at this ulta getting my hair done! I made an appointment with Tashicka and we had decided on a color and went with it. As always she came up with ideas throughout the process and I just let her do her thing because it always turns out amazing! The conversation is always great and we always have a good time! Never feels like we are there for hours when it's such a fun atmosphere! I will definitely be back so long as Tashicka is there rocking out the fantastic cuts and colors!

I went in the other day to redeem my Diamond member reward. The girl up front was very sweet and helpful but the bar code wouldn't scan. She asked the manager who I belive was named Stephanie to help her. The way Stephanie spoke to her and the other employees at the register was so rude and condescending that it made me extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to leave immediately and just shop online since her attitude and presence was so unsettling. She proceeded to take my phone so she could read the fine print despite me saying several times I would just look online. She was very aggressive and did not release my phone after I attempted to take it back twice. I noticed her the moment I walked in the store bc she was glaring and seemed like an angry person to be around. Not a good experience at all!

Girls, if you want healthy hair and the exact style you asked for, go to Ulta and get styled by Tashicka. I needed my hair styled and deep conditioned and I’ve never seen my hair healthier. She knows what she’s doing and has the experience.

Listen to the reviews! I have nothing bad to say about the products, but the associates working at this Ulta are the worst I have ever met, and I have visited a lot of Ultas around the states. I came in for a skin tone match, and asked the front desk who I could talk to, one didn’t know what I was talking about, and the other rolled her eyes at me. Another associate proceeded to take me to the make up to match me, which was very poorly done. She either didn’t have much knowledge, or just didn’t care. She slapped a color on The top of my hand and a puddle and told me that would look good. Needless to say, I did buy it to try it since I know their policy is pretty generous for returning items. After walking around the area, I realized the wrist puddle of lip stain got all over my clothes and rain jacket. I’ll take responsibility for not thinking to ask for a alcohol wipe, but I did go back to the store and ask them how to remove thewaterproof color off my clothes, and the woman was just as enthusiastic as when I came in. She gave me simple answer and no offer of an alcohol wipe from the store. All around, there was a lack of knowledge, lack of attention to detail, lack of empathy, and lack of quality work ethic. I won’t be returning back to this Ulta, unless it is to get my money back for the lip color.

I haven't bought anything from Ulta in almost 10 years and was completely lost and overwhelmed by all the options, but Zach helped me out tremendously! He was very knowledgeable and patient with me, even though I asked a million questions. Hands down the best customer service experience I've had anywhere before! Thank you to Zach for taking the time to help me so much today, I really appreciate it!!

Don't get your hair done here. I can't speak on the other services provided here, but definitely 100% do not ever get your hair done here. Some background on this review: My wife got a balayage done with a different salon and it wasn't that great. It was passable to me, but my wife wasn't a fan of it. She really wanted to get it fixed before we go back to Texas to visit family and friends for a week. Ulta in Texas has always been solid and my wife was a frequent customer. When she books this appointment, she figures there's two outcomes: either they fix it or they turn her away because they don't want to be responsible for messing up the fixing of my wife's hair. I would've preferred that outcome, really. We live in the Halifax area, so she drove an hour there for a color correction appointment and got her hair turned orange here. The stylist didn't know what she was doing. Management told my wife she can come back and they'd fix it for free and they took about 27% off of the total. That's all good and well, but when I called the manager gave me an awful response. She said the stylist is new, but then say hair color correction is unpredictable so it's not the stylists fault. When I asked how they plan on correcting it without messing it up further, she said a different, more veteran stylist would do test strips to make sure the chemicals they're using don't turn out to be an unwanted color. When I asked if the initial stylist did test strips already this time, the manager said that yes she did use test strips. I asked how she messed up the hair then if she used test strips. The manager admitted she's not a stylist so she doesn't know much about it. I'm mad because my wife spent two hours round trip today in a car and spent hours at Ulta to get her hair ruined way worse than it already was. Management did management stuff and offered a small discount and a free return visit to ***try*** and fix their mistake. Problem is, we're a working family. We don't get that many days off of work without our kids and we're going back to Texas to move our belongings out here and visit with friends and family. My wife has orange hair cuz the color correction actually trashed her hair. She can't get it fixed for weeks. This visit was supposed to fix her hair and they ruined it. And they want her to drive another 2 hours out to Lynchburg so these people can experiment on her hair again. My wife's hair is going to be orange for a month because of this Ulta's mistake. But thanks for the 27% discount and the wasted day.

I came in to look at the hours and noticed all the bad reviews. I decided I would leave a good one as I have been to this Ulta 4 times since it opened and have never been followed around. I have been treated and spoken to kindly and my check out was great. I was sad to see the shorter hours as it is difficult for me to get to a store prior to 8pm and sad to see someone had just stolen almost all of the perfume samples. This is not the stores fault that there have been a large number of thefts and they should be mindful of watching the store. The last time I pulled up to that mall entrance a security guard was walking a small group out. If you look or act suspicious it gets noticed not just by employees and security. Be gracious in understanding they are trying to do their job. Im glad the Ulta is here and look forward to my next trip.
