Josefina is PHENOMENAL! There’s a reason why I only go to her and that is because she is the best at what she does. Whether I’m looking for a color or a cut she takes the time to ensure I get exactly what I’m looking for. Also, she is the sweetest person and you can tell she loves what she does and takes pride in her work! I recommend her everyone!

Maria is THE best stylist!! I have been going to her for almost 2 years now and there is no one else I trust more with my hair. I live in Washington, D.C. now for school, but I ALWAYS stop by Ulta and see Maria for a haircut when I am in town visiting home because she is THAT good! Incredibly friendly, personable, and a talented hair stylist. I cannot recommend her enough!!

I have been going to Josefina for the last 3 years and she is one of the few stylists I trust to do my hair. There are so few stylists that can cut/style curly hair, plus do a natural blonde color, but Josefina always executes on both! Also I got a blowout for the first time from her, which I was also super pleased with.

I had a great first time haircut/style with Cassandra over at Ulta Beauty today. She took her time to make sure my hair was well cut, and pampered AND looked like the reference photo I showed her :) overall, I liked that she helped explain what I could do technique wise to achieve a nice stylish look with my new cut at the end of my appointment. So thanks Cassandra! And hope to see you for my next cut!

I am not someone who takes pride in writing bad reviews but I feel like this needs to be said, I had gotten my hair colored last week at the salon here and it was amazing. Hair looked great but I was charged extra for a blowout that I didn’t even ask for, I thought about it for a week, maybe that’s what this Ulta salon does but found out I shouldn’t have been charged. I went back today to try and see what resolution can be made, well nothing, nothing was resolved. No one was rude but no one was helpful. Apparently because my hair was long and took more time to dry, the stylist decided to add a blowout in order to give me more time? I have gone to numerous stylists at Ulta and this has never happened, this is allegedly a new thing Ulta does to clients……well I wasn’t pleased to hear that and felt this wasn’t the honest truth. Yes it’s 23$ extra but I don’t appreciate last minute charges without my consent. Again no disrespect to anyone at this Ulta but I won’t be back. Up charging and keeping quiet won’t go over smoothly. Update: I was refunded and I appreciate it. I still stand by my review.

My kind of place to shop. I was there a couple of days ago, and Kayla helped me with finding a foundation. She was so sweet, kind, patient, and explained things in detail. I was then helped by Patricia with other products, and she was amazing as well. She was also very patient and recommended products suitable for me. She spent over an hour with me and gave me her full attention. Vanessa, oh Vanessa. Ulta wouldn't be Ulta without her. She's such a great asset to the company and always goes above and beyond with not just me but also with everyone she comes in contact with. Her expertise, patience, and friendliness come a long way! This is my place to shop...can spend hours there.

Salon services are terrible. I paid extra for an “Elite” stylist. I paid for a full head of highlights, but only needed a root touch up on my hair to match my current hair color. I started blond and left with a head of gray hair. Style at the end stated it wad included on my service, but I was charged an additional $21 without being told. I paid for the service because I’m not that type of person. But $250 for 4 hours of my life being waisted and having to pay lord know how much to fix my hair is ridiculous after I spent two years getting the color I wanted for it to be ruined in hours. I left the building whole heartedly disappointed and in tears. I’ve gotten the same treatment done at this location twice before. Why they wouldn’t read notes from prior services and ruin my whole head is crazy.

If you have curly hair please beware what stylist you use to do your hair. Our stylist relocated out of state and recommended one stylist in particular. Told me not to use the African American because she would damage my 10 year olds hair. Why i listened to her idk, however i brought my daughter in here Friday night and the stylist flat ironed her CURLY WET HAIR! My daughter’s hair looked horrible! While she was doing her hair i asked “ are you going to blow dry it first? she says no i use this blow bar glass gloss and you can flat iron without blow drying. I’m so livid with myself for not getting up and asking for the manager but, once she noticed that i was upset she pulled out the blow dryer. The next day i came in and showed the salon manager my daughters hair and she said “ not to do her hair and to hold off on blow drying or flat ironing it” My daughter acts and had a film to do, which is why i was getting her hair done. We missed that opportunity. Although the manager offered a free wash and blow next time, i don’t even trust these people. We woke up two days later to my daughter’s hair breaking off. Her hair was literally FRIED! Please avoid this location if you care about your hair! Mine ended up smelly burnt after my hair appointment! Literally can smell it everywhere i go. The stylist used soooo much hair spray my hair is super fine and it was so stiff afterwards! I’ll never ever ever let them touch my hair or daughters ever again! I’m almost positive i have heat damage. I have super fine hair and she used a lot of heat and was so freakin ruff flat ironing my hair! I will never come here again. Update, my daughter needed to cut 4 inches of her hair off because of Maria’s neglect and incompetence! Totally horrible. Avoid this location at all cost!

My daughter and I are fan of Ulta. We discover that they also have a beaty salon and we was lucky to find a very excellent hair stylist, her name María. María is so profesional, she really knows how to do everything in your hair the way you want. Good listener and very kind.

In these tight economical times, my family is trying to be more practical. For my mom's birthday, I asked her what she wanted, instead of trying to give her a gift that I thought she'd like. She wanted an item from this store. I have never been here in my life. Upon entering the building my first impression was that it was very clean and shiny.. nothing seemed out of place. There was plenty of staff. I was greeted by two or three ladies, and one of them took me right to where I needed to go to purchase my item. I was in and out in 10 minutes thank God cuz this is definitely a woman's haven.. great for them, not for me lol,l but 100% kudos for the business, it's representation, and its image....everything was perfect inside. Very impressive, keep up the great work.

Josefina has been doing my hair for 8 years now and she is the BEST. Josefina is so thoughtful, kind, and most importantly she continuously evolves and takes classes to learn new skills/techniques/practice with new products despite having many years of experience. She’s very easy to get along with and always keeps the client’s happiness and hair health as top priority!! She is a gem and worth a visit especially if you are blonde - that’s one of her specialties!! Also she’s great with “fantasy color” - she’s a great stylist to go to for both regular hair color maintenance or if you want a pop of fun color 💕

This Ulta store is the best. My daughter had a blow out and flat ironed by stylist Kelisha this past weekend and it was awesome. Manager Vanessa was super nice and hooked my daughter up. Kelisha provided great info on how to care for my daughter's hair type and was super nice. I would recommend this store and Kelisha to everyone. We had a great experience!
