CJ in the stylist area was a huge help. I was about to leave because of the overwhelming options but she just leaned over and asked if I needed help deciding on something. She picked out a fantastic product and helped me find a couple other hair care items I was looking for. I’ve never purchased from an Ulta before but I’ll definitely be back because of her!

I went in for a Root Touch up. The appointment was with a Master Stylist and the color was fine but the styling and blow dry was trash! The inside of my hair was still damp I asked if it was going to get iron and it look like straight humid hair and I will never go again especially paying for high prices for an express root touch up! The staff was somewhat nice but they do a horrible job on women of color hair.

I had a make up appointment for 11:15 am and a hair appointment for 1 pm after the make up appointment I walked over to the salon for the hair appointment and was told by a guy working on someone else’s hair “a manager will be with you”. I was puzzled as to what was going on and how does he know who was without a name. so I kept hovering for about 5 minute or so no one approached me, he looked my way again and when we made eye contact, he said to me I have another appointment, they double booked you. Wait what????. When I entered the store and checked in shouldn’t i have been made aware of this? I had a photo session at 2:15 pm and chose this location specifically since they’re just 15 minutes away from the studio. Anyway, no manager came out so I had to walk around the store,seek out an employee and asked for a manager who casually came out of the back office and asked can I help you? So all this time I’m told a manager would be right with you by Francisco, she had no idea what was going on??. She apologized and then it was a scramble to get someone to do my hair while the stylists are all working on other clients and turning around to look at me along with their clients as if I’m the issue. It was a very uncomfortable experience. CJ was kind enough to walk over to me introduce herself and said I’ll help you give me one minute. It was rushed but she came through. The manager processed my payment as if Nothing happened. No compensation was offered for the embarrassing ordeal, poor communication and lack of customer service received. Be careful booking at Ulta Waterford lakes. I had called the night before and morning of my appointment to double check and confirm my appointment

I had an amazing experience at Ulta thanks to the helpful staff, especially Elise! She was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping me find the perfect fragrance that suits my style. Elise went above and beyond, asking thoughtful questions about my preferences and recommending options I would have never thought to try. Her expertise and warm personality made the whole experience enjoyable. I’m so happy with my new scent—thank you, Elise!

I made an online pick up order. It was an SPF foundation that expired about 2 months ago. The only other product they had was also expired at the same time as the one I was originally given. They offered I return it and order online with free shipping, but could not honor the price I bought it at. Which would mean I’d lose out on a sale & coupon, because of their mistake. I thanked them for their time & left. But this situation is crazy. Every place I have worked at would have fixed the issue. They did not bother to ask a manager on how they could fix it. The only solution is as to lose out on a promotion due to their own mistake…mind you not once but twice. I truly cannot understand how 2 expired SPF items could go unnoticed. Systems usually flag this prior to the expiration. If it’s not removed off the shelf, then the register will refuse us to sell the items. Mind you that’s at various other retailers that I have managed, that are not Ulta. So either their management did not care or the Ulta company has some serious inquiry failures on their end. If you get anything from IT Cosmetics, I suggest looking at the expiration date at the top of the tube. Because expired sun protection is useless & you will get sun damage. Meaning hyperpigmentation & a risk of melanoma. Not to mention skin care regimens & progress would be ruined, even worse if you’re on a retinoid.

Terrible experience this store deserves 0 stars. I scheduled an appointment to get my makeup done for a photoshoot and received a call the day before my photoshoot and was told the employe schedule was entered incorrectly and they have to reschedule my appointment. The stylist even advised me to call Sephora to see if they could squeeze me in last minute. Extremely disappointed.

When walking in I was warmly greeted by Joshua who asked if he could help me with anything. I went in to look for a more full coverage makeup than what I’ve been using and Joshua went right to work color matching and making sure the color was perfect for my skin. We chatted while he added some powder and bronzer which I bought as well. He was so pleasant and made me feel like we were friends chatting. It’s not very often lately that I’ve found someone in any line of customer service or retail that was as wonderful as him. Thank you Joshua 😊

Please allow customers such as the blacks and hispanics to shop in PEACE. It’s 2024 not 1945. My experience was not pleasant. The moment I walked in, you have this man walking around each aisle harassing black women if they are OK , you already asked us that question less than 2 minutes ago, why don’t keep following me around in the store when you have other people you can attend to. This is and will be my last time shopping there. Headed over to much friendly store ..… Sephora.

Terrible experience with the manager named Alysha. She was very arrogant with me. It all started when the employee named Carolina mispriced my merchandise. On the floor there was a stamp where it clearly indicated that there was a discount on the product. When I went to complain, I realized when I looked at the receipt that they had charged me at the regular price. When I go and explain to the other cashier who serves me very kindly, she tells me that I am right and that is where she call the manager, and the manager very arrogant say she can’t do the price reduction and goes to the floor and tears off the stamps that were placed in the hallway and says that that should not have been there, that it was wrong. She didn’t apologize for her staff mistake she just was very rude to me. She goes and the cashier said to me I was right and offered me another manager because she knows it wasn’t my fault. Then the same manager come back with an attitude with the thickest on the hand saying to the kind cashier i told you we can’t reduce the money and then she say that the colors I chose didn’t match the barcode lol I was so in shock they put the tags in the wrong place and in the wrong color and I have to know each barcode of every single color pencil that was there, like what! I still in shock. Anyway I told her at this point just return my money back please and they told me that they cannot return my money to the card, which I was stunned since the purchase and everything had been the same day. I was so disappointed since they had made the mistake, not me. It wasn't until I filed my rights as a client that they had no choice but to return my money back on my card. But I'm so upset that they treated me so badly when it was their employee's fault and not mine . The manager not even once apologize for her staff mistakes, she just tried to throw away the evidence, hopefully I had already taken a photo. very sad that she does not have the appropriate professionalism to manage a store as important as this one.

Elise and Devyn were amazing in helping me find some new products! They found the perfect matching lip liner to a lipstick I had (even though they were from separate brands) and even checked in the back to ensure I was able to find what I needed.
