I had a bad experience yesterday when I got my roots done. She is a docile person, but I don’t think she has much experience with coloring. She left two strands of gray hair in the front. I could have done it better at home. Now I have to use a toner to cover the gray hair.

Strange and unpleasant experience here. I came for Virtue products, but unfortunately, they didn’t have them. That can happen… However, when I saw they also carried FENTY, and since I was looking to buy a foundation, it seemed like a good opportunity. I asked for help, but the sales assistant wasn’t willing to assist at all. When I asked if there was an expert available, I got a brief “no” as a response. Luckily, I had already figured out the right shade on the Fenty website using another foundation as a reference. If I had depended on the advice from this store, I would probably still be standing there.

Came into shop for black Friday when entering the store we had our child in a shopping cart the door greater told us we where not allowed to bring the cart in witch was fine then the lady told us we don't belong in the store we were treated with the utmost disrespect.

Joanne in the salon was absolutely amazing! She helped me go from stripped out brown box dye to a natural blonde with lots of dimension, it looks awesome. She spent extra time on me providing a deep conditioning treatment and she was super gentle with my hair. She also gave me a bunch of advice on how to take care of my hair and improve its health. Having just moved to this area, I’m so happy I found a hairdresser as fantastic as Joanne!

Ask for assistance when I was in the store. I had someone start to help me but then she needed to do something so I was switched off to two more people one after another. It was very chaotic and frustrating. Not impressed.

Ciara at the Benefit Brow bar was wonderful and did such a great job on my brows. I will definitely be back to see her! All the girls at this Ulta location were friendly and helpful.

My lady had questions about wedding makeup and upon entry, we were promptly greeted by Marissa! She was very informative, helpful and kind. She didn't try to push anything on my lady, but rather worked with her to find the colors that worked best for her. Her vibe is that of caring and genuine. She made sure she found the right under-eye creme and the magic water creme. She also tested skin-tone colors. Marissa did a wonderful job and should be recognized. Her customer service skills are second to none and she's pleasant as can be. If your lady is going to Ulta in Sarasota, make sure to ask for Marissa. You'll definitely be happy you did!

Went to the salon for a trim, was taking a chance but Mari did a great job she listened to what I wanted and followed through. Her blowout style was perfect and lasted 4 days. I was looking for someone more affordable because my curly hair specialist is great but her prices are sadly not affordable to me. I paid $81 before the tip which is not even a third of the cost of what I was paying, and I got what I wanted so I will be returning! She did not hack my curls at all and I waited to make my review after I washed, and did my normal styling routine. The layers are very flattering to my curl type. Usually stylists will hack and it will come out not very flattering. She really took her time making sure I was happy. Why is this so rare now at salons?

I’m very very disappointed that I just drove here and tried to come in but the woman working apparently decided to close up early? I would appreciate if the hours were adjusted if you do in fact close at 6pm on Sunday.

I went to make a purchase today & I wasn’t greeted for the 35 minutes that I looked around the store , nor was I asked did I need help , two other people walked in directly after me & they were greeted as well as asked did they need help, seems suspiciously prejudice to me , but I digress , the associates at this location need to work on inclusion & equal treatment, I won’t be back , very disappointed in the outcome, I’ve worked in retail for several years & this has never happened to me before.

So disappointed. I went in to get a hair cut and consultation for color with Salina D. I set the appointment the following day and they could not get me in for a month, but thats fine. I got a call 5 days before my appointment saying they had to cancel and rescheduled me for the following week. I'm getting a full bleach so I had to take off work for the reschedule. My appointment was supposed to be tomorrow, 5/29 and I just received a call canceling again! No expectation, just sorry she can't do it. I will never get my hair done here again.

I am very frustrated with this location. I am from out of town, 2 hrs to be exact. I had placed an online order that was completely PAYED for, I arrived at the location at 8:04. They closed at 8:00 which I thought it was 9pm but I realized on the door it said 8:00 after the fact. But anyways I got excited because the sales lady was still in the front , at the cashiers about to close. Once I sent my boyfriend to the door it was LOCKED!!! I told him to knock on the door and she saw him and gave him signal to wait a minute. He waited about 10 minutes then the lady came to the door and just looked at him and shrugged her shoulders and walked away. After signaling him to wait a minute with her finger and him waiting outside. SHE SAW ME TOO WITH THE CAR DOOR OPEN AND IM SIGNALING TWO FINGERS FOR HER TO KNOW I WAS TRYING TO COMMUNICATE I WAS COMING FROM 2 HRS AWAY . She didnt even ask him what she could do for him or anything , ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS HAND US THE ORDER IT WAS PAID AND EVERYTHING OR AT LEAST ASK WHAT SHE COULD HELP US WITH. I DROVE BACK HOME 2 HRS WITHOUT MY ORDER IM SO FRUSTRATED !!!!!!!!! NOW I HAVE TO TRY TO SEE IF I CAN CANCEL OR TRANSFER IT TO ANOTHER LOCATION.

I went in for two products. Nobody acknowledged me. I stood in line for 10-15 minutes the cashiers laughed and talked with each other instead of assisting paying customers. Once they finally realized I haven’t been assisted I ask the cashier “can anyone assist me with BB cream” she pretends she doesn’t hear me points to a lady in fragrance and says she will assist you. Clearly the lady in fragrance was assisting another customer. So I walked around I got the sunscreen supergoop I was looking for. A female in a lab coat assisted me I expressed to her that I didn’t get an assisted when I tried asking the cashier she blew off my conversation. And said “let’s fine the Bb cream yeah?” I’m like okay… so I get to the register at this point I want to put everything back I’ve never encountered a rude staff like this in a department store EVER.

That's a guy it's not the kind of place that I will frequent, I'm sure some do, but the wife uses a bunch of their products. And I do enjoy hanging out in the parking lot while she shops 😉. The only criticism I've ever heard from my better half some of the young cashiers and sales gals could use a bit more training and experience.

Joanne is amazing! Not only did I restore my love for my hair, but I learned soo much about how to style it at home! She is such a huge help with any questions you may have about your hair, she was so so patient with all of my questions. She taught me how to use the dyson so I can have salon perfect hair every day. Highly recommended Joanne for any hair salon needs!!!

Disappointing experience. I arrived at the store at 7:56pm tonight. They closed at eight so I was pushing it to get my shampoo. A heavy set woman with bushy dark hair was standing at the door as I jogged up. She saw me approaching and locked the dead bolt. I pointed to my watch. She shrugged. I guess the quick $100 they were going to make was not worth staying open until the advertised closing hour. I ended up ordering from Amazon.

Been coming here for a couple years since moving. I love Ulta, but this one over the past 6 months to a year has really stepped up their customer service. Maureen in the prestigious makeup area is a gem. I needed help with getting a new foundation. She took the initiative, saw my struggle, and stepped right in to help me. She color matched me and suggested a beautiful primer to go with it. Janice up at the cash wrap is always pleasant as well! Thank you!
