I went here for makeup and let me just say I have never walked away from getting my makeup done by a professional and not felt pretty until now. I could have done a better job myself. I walked out in tears. I went to get my makeup done because I was having professional holiday photos taken for my babies first Christmas and I couldn’t believe how awful it was. The makeup artist could not put eyeliner on straight, and was not even able to apple lashes! Whag makeup artist can’t apply lashes!? All I wanted was to look pretty and basic makeup nothing crazy. Now I have to do my own makeup and somehow learn how to apply lashes and just hope for the best. Never again will I get my makeup done here.

My daughter went here for her birthday with a gift card and the cashier, Tatiana or however you spell it was so rude to her, treating her like a burden. It was outrageous. But overall Scranton is a really inhospitable dump of a city, so many empty storefronts, unfriendly glassy eyed botched and bungled masses. We much prefer the one in Ny, they are so friendly and accommodating to their customers and clean. I followed uncle warren and bought stock in Ulta too and this one is straight trash, rude employee, the parking lot is like nearly third world.

Poor customer service. Employees stand around in groups of 3 and don't provide any courtesy or acknowledgement. Very dissatisfied. Take a walk over to JcPenny for more prompt results.

Kara is a hair goddess. My hair always looks amazing and feels silky and healthy when I leave. 4 hours in a chair might seem like a long time but it flies by imo with a good, personable stylist. I would recommend Kara to anyone!

Update: I still get my eyebrows done here periodically, and I love how great of a job Janisa does waxing them! She always listens to me and makes me feel comfortable. (Original Review Below) I went to get my brows done for my first time professionally at Ulta's brow bar, and despite being nervous, they turned out great! Elena helped me find what I was looking for in shaping my eyebrows and did such a beautiful job making it happen. I felt very comfortable and accommodated! This store location has always had polite and helpful staff that have helped with my needs every time I have been there. I hope everyone continues to have good experiences at this Ulta-mate (couldn't help the pun) location!

My daughter enjoyed the wide selection, service and quality environment offered. Ulta has both men’s fragrances and a very wide variety of girls beauty products. They also seem to offer hair care. Overall a very nice experience and selection.

Quite expensive for brands you can get elsewhere. Cluttered and aisles are narrow. The employees need to be proactive with kids/teens walking around and misusing testers etc. Too many kids just loitering and not purchasing anything. They are taking up employees time with wanting makeup applied.

Cashier messed up my return and when I contacted guest services they told me basically tough... all a scam to get you spend more money in their stores. I bought an item online that I wasn't aware wasn't available in stores. I TOLD THE CASHIER I WANTED THE SAME ITEM IN A DIFFERENT SHADE. After informing me it was only online she gave me a gift card to use to make the purchase. Except store gift cards aren't valid on line. So i was out the money, the item, and stuck with a gift card I couldn't use. And Guest Services REFUSED to make it right. Meanwhile Sephora sent the wrong FREE samples and then sent even more as an apology.

Can we talk about Lilly, she’s absolutely amazing and kind. I swear to god she was an angel sent from above, she helped me out with foundation since they are discontinuing my favorite line, she took her time went through all the options there are for my skin type. Her dedication to making a customer happy was spot on! She really deserves recognition, she was so knowledgable in her product lines. I’m so happy I ran into her, I will never forget this experience!
