Disappointed with service and products purchased. Service was appallingly lacking and behavior in particular with cashier Casey was unpleasant due to her rudeness. Over $100 purchased items recommended were disappointing. However, rather then returning them, I decided that I would not give my business to ULTA again.

Friendly exchange with staff. Great deals on some of their products. Was able to get a great foundation at 1/2 price. Making it even cheaper than department store cost and brands. I will definitely try it out more often

After being let down multiple times from my previous salon with “bait & switch” pricing & pushy sales tactics, I decided to give Ulta a try. I booked with elite stylist, Arlene, & have never been disappointed! She takes her time with services & I always get compliments after she cuts my hair. I went yesterday for a haircut & a gloss & she killed it as always!

I've had a string of disappointing experiences at Ulta, despite its convenient location when I’m at work. A few months ago, I waited 40 minutes for a scalp treatment, only to find they didn't have the treatment. The hairstylist was overwhelmed with three clients, and I ended up drying my hair with the tower and styling my own hair in Ulta location in Carrollwood . Today was no better. I arrived for a consultation, which they confirmed yesterday, regarding an event they're supposedly hosting. only to be told by one of the staff members that she couldn't interrupt what she was doing to assist me despite me having traveled to the location specifically for the appointment. I'm extremely frustrated with the consistent poor service

Jess (Jessica) is AMAZING and deserves her flowers!! (and a raise!) I can tell in the little time I spent interacting with her how dedicated and knowledgeable she is and her going above and beyond UNPROMPTED was just the cherry on top. Thank you for your kindness!

This review is specifically for Tiffany She asked me if I had a rewards account, I said no and that I don’t shop here enough. She then asks if I know anyone that does so they can get the points, I said maybe my sister. She couldn’t find an account with her number and instead of just Processing my transaction so I can leave she asked for it again and then created some kind of an account. I know this because when I paid an email for a Maria popped up on the card reader when asked how I want my receipt. I asked her if she created an account she said no, but I asked her then why would an email pop up, that’s not my sister. She asked for the number again and said ‘I must have typed the number wrong’. Whatever cult like loyalty program you have here, stop shoving it down people’s throats. I should’ve have had to say ‘I’m not interested‘ or ‘no’ more than once

Love Ulta for special and specific beauty care products. I do feel they cater more to younger shoppers, as a older woman I feel I didn't get the service that would have made this a more enjoyable visit.

SCAMMERS: On July 12 a cashier convinced me to open a credit card stating that I was pre-approved and after asking repeatedly how it would affect my credit score she firmly stated that it would not. My EQUIFAX WENT DOWN 55 POINTS. My credit is beyond reproach mind you. Nobody in customer service had an answer and when I called the manager at this location she stated that I was basically lied too. Do not give them your business DO NOT OPEN UP A CREDIT CARD. This company has no ethics. Spend your money elsewhere.

10/10, 100% satisfaction, quality and kind customer service. The employee named August went above and beyond to help me with a skincare routine, she helped me find products for my hair and was patient with all of the questions I had. Thanks August! <---someone needs to give this woman a raise.

Never go to a salon. Got a gift card so I tried out Ulta. Mariah was so sweet, listened to me and my hair came out lovely 🥰

Everyone here is super friendly. Went in for a L’Oréal foundation and asked for help with a color match. The employee had to eyeball it because L’Oréal doesn’t do swatching but she killed the color match!! It’s literally perfect 😎👍

I went to the hair salon to get the easiest haircut and color ever Mariah RUINED my long and beautiful hair and I messaged her showing what an awful my hair was and SHE LAUGHED! Told me to get a life, idk how and why this unprofessionalism is even in this store but DO NOT BOOK WITH MARIAH!

It was pretty clear this was not a store for me (wife brought me in). That being said, I think it has an amazing layout. A lot of the shelves have the name brand labeled at the top to make things easier to find. Everything is brightly lit so you can find your way around with ease. Lots of hair products. Maybe check out what special products they have online and then you can stop in the store to get them.

I have been coming here since it opened. Yesterday Maggie helped me pick out a face regimen from beginning to end. She walked me through the process and explained all ingridients and benefits to me. I always receive excellent service and attention but I have to shout out Maggie for helping me so much and teaching me. I now have a new collection of juice beauty products I am very happy with.

Was standing there forever at the check out line. No one came up to ring me up for one item until the other lady was finally done. They weren't doing anything either! Almost made me late for my appointment. Never shopping at this location again!

I tried out the Ulta Beauty Salon today for the first time! I had a wonderful experience with Amanda R! She was so knowledgeable & obviously extremely educated on hair maintenance. My hair texture has changed significantly over the past 8 years. I went from almost 3C-4A hair to somewhere between 2B & 2C so I had no idea how to style my hair or what products to use! Shamefully, I had been using products that I used to use regularly on my 3C/4A hair which was doing absolutely nothing for me now. Amanda gave me some excellent pointers on washing according to my lifestyle (I go to the gym almost daily) & went as far as to show me good products for when I want to style my hair AND what to use if I want to let it air dry. Not to mention my haircut & blow out came out beautifully! I feel like a new woman & I can't wait to try out these products. I will definitely be seeing Amanda again. I love this Ulta location & have never had a bad experience.

I had a great experience at this Ulta salon. Robert did my hair and it is perfect. I dyed my entire head and cut layers. He made my hair look even better than how I imagined it to be. Truly the best hair I have ever gotten done. Robert is such a great hairstylist and amazing person. Anyone who trusts Robert with their hair will NOT be disappointed. I will definitely be back again soon!

Terrible service. My girlfriend was racially profiled and followed around the store. We were asked if we needed help 3 times in 5mins and made us extremely uncomfortable

This is the second bad experience I’ve had at this store. The first time I was harassed into making an account I didn’t need by being told I wouldn’t be able to use it without an Ulta account which ended up being a lie. And then today when my 60 year old mother and I went up to purchase our items (without any line whatsoever to be seen) the ladies behind the counter continued to speak to each other and not look in our direction or ask if we were ready. By the time a woman asked us if we were ready she shoved us off to someone else to check us out just to help multiple other people who weren’t ready to check out and yet suddenly were when she asked. It felt rude against my mother who is 60 and me who is 24 but isn’t your stereotypical make up wearing feminine girl. I’m not one to write reviews like this, often giving the benefit of the doubt, but it was just downright disrespectful. 😁

Back again with another review. Look below and you’ll see another one I left from a few months ago. The employees obviously have not received any training since the last time I went. EVERY employee within a 10-15 minute span HARASSED me to ask if I “needed assistance” or a basket… like I don’t know how to ask for either if I needed them. Maria, the cashier, came from around the counter while I was shopping with only 4 items in my hand, to tell me that it looked like I was struggling holding the items and insisted that she bring me a basket that I did NOT request. We all know that is a tactic they use to attempt to mitigate risk of theft from a person that they assume is stealing, which I was not. This store needs to be shut down and employees fired. This was in fact my last time shopping Ulta. I was certain to use all my points so that I don’t have to deal with the brand ever again. TikTok video about the incident will be posted soon along with several other videos of the same account. Apparently, harassment is an ULTA brand must. #SephoraIsBetterAnyway

The clerks treated me as if I was a criminal! I didn’t even get 10 feet in the store before one high tailed it from the back of the store to ask if I need assistance. I had my 8 yr old niece with me and was appalled at the treatment that was displayed only to me. What made it worse is that I preordered and paid for my order online and was there for pickup but decided to sample a few perfumes TO PURCHASE as well. I was watched and followed the whole time. When I asked for assistance to take a perfume out of the case, the clerk did not give it to me but rather took it to the front of the store and told me they would hold it up front with my order when I’m ready to purchase and she reiterated 3 times that they will check my ID as though I was supposed to be scared or lying about having an order. I am who my name says on the order and the damn BUSINESS AMERICAN EXPRESS card that I used to pay for my items with. I am disgusted by tonight’s treatment and will be sure to spread the word to friends and business partners alike about the treatment at this location. This happened at this same store last yr and I thought maybe I was imagining things, but to have it occur again and to see a complaint below of the same thing solidifies it. The employees are either or both racist/classist (based on exterior opinion) when they, themselves, are probably not even making more than $15 per hour. The audacity!
