It’s inconceivable to me how, in this day and age with our level of automation, algorithms, abundance, AI, globalization, etc. that not only this location but Ulta in general cannot figure out how to stock their stores to meet consumer demand. You would think that a multinational corporation, the largest beauty retailer in the US, who’s worth 100 billion dollars, and almost 35 years in operation would’ve been able to figure this out by now. I mean, it isn’t impossible. In fact, it happens so often, so consistently, and for so long one might almost assume it’s their policy to understock to create the illusion of scarcity, triggering certain psychological responses that influence the consumer to make buying decisions that they wouldn’t otherwise make. Which, of course is aimed at increasing profit. It would be one thing if this was only a problem around peak times a year or following supply chain issues but no, it the case as long as I’ve shopped at Ulta, the last 20 years, becoming a serious issue in the last 10 years. Items being in stock is the exception, not the rule. And it’s usually with multiple products, over multiple brands, simultaneously, consistently over time, increasing in intensity. It’s better to assume it will be out of stock. Whether it’s a marketing gimmick, a deliberate business tactic, or just incompetence, the whole system needs an overhaul, because it doesn’t work. I’m inclined to believe that they don’t really care about inconveniencing and dissatisfying their customers if it’s benefiting them and their bottom line (like most corporations) and feel like there is no alternative, so push the line with predatory pricing and business strategies as far as they can, as long as consumers are willing to accept it. But there are alternatives. There will be more alternatives if it continues like this. I’ve personally had about all I can handle and I’m to the point now where I just want to take all of my, not insubstantial, business to a smaller, more professionally targeted retailer like Camera Ready Cosmetics, because while they do run out of product from time to time, at least it’s excusable given how small they are, because it’s offset by benefits such as: a knowledgeable staff, good customer service, a level of professionalism, and courtesy that Ulta does not, never has and probably never will provide. SMH FIX IT!!!

I came in today to buy some items and attempted to use a coupon. After scanning the coupon, the cashier told me that the coupon did not qualify. I asked her to try it again and she didn’t.Afterwards, I went Home to add the items in my cart and use the coupon online. The coupon ended up working online and brought my price down and I made sure to read the stipulations to see if it was an online only and it wasn’t. I ended up paying 30 extra dollars instead of the 57 but I was supposed to With the coupon. Very disappointed

Following customer who are Black/african while they shop really ruins the customer service experience. Customer feel unwelcome and there is no peace of mind to shop. Like you have cameras for a reason. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. I will go where I feel welcomed.

I walked into this location on April 16th 2024 there were three women who worked the floor standing together talking. I asked about a product one pointed across the store and just kept talking. I just turned around and walked out. There is no customer service here. Definitely drive to another location like Tulsa Hills.

My experience at Ulta Beauty was average. While the store offered a wide range of beauty products and brands, I found the layout to be a bit cluttered and overwhelming. The staff were friendly enough, but I didn't receive much assistance or guidance when browsing the aisles. Additionally, I was disappointed with the lack of availability of some popular products, and the prices seemed a bit higher compared to other beauty retailers. Overall, Ulta Beauty has potential, but there are areas where they could improve to enhance the customer experience.

This store is so ghetto. Nothing is in stock. I took my son in to find a cologne and everything is locked up. If I wanted to smell a cologne an employee had to unlock every case for him to smell them. I wasn’t sure which fragrances were mens and the employee (Zoey) who was there was kinda annoyed that I didn’t know where to start. She had orangish red hair cut into a bob. I said “I think I’ll just go to Sephora” (because at Sephora you’re free to smell everything without an employee walking behind you with a key to unlock every case and stand there awkwardly) and Zoey said “sounds good”. This is truly the worse Ulta. Never stocked and very ghetto. I thought the “possibilities were supposed to be beautiful” but the experience I had in the 21st and Yale location was very ugly. It’s fine that the colognes were locked up because of theft BUT she could’ve asked questions to see what type of smell he was going for, she didn’t try to refer anything or try to help with the selection. Just “ok sounds good” go to Sephora.. like she didn’t want to do her job. When I go to Sephora they actually try to help and tell you what would be ideal for you based on what you tell them you like. Ulta just hopes that you go to Sephora so you can get out of their hair lol.

I went yesterday and bought my favorite perfume and body spray well when I opened my perfume it’s missing the spray bottle, I called and explained and they told me it’s nothing they can do. I spent over 300$ and I can’t even use my perfume smh.

Amazing! I had a makeup artist by the name of Susan, who did my makeup for my mother’s wedding this past weekend, she did an awesome job, she matched my skin tone perfectly, and treated me like a queen that day… I will definitely recommend her services to whomever needs a great makeup artist!

I've been to this location several times and I also have an Ulta card but this particular time I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE at this location!!!! I was walking towards the Estee Lauder brand to grab the eyeliner that I normally wear and this lady is literally standing over me as I'm doing my shopping making me feel COMPLETELY uncomfortable!!!!!! After grabbing my item I went to checkout to report my experience of course the lady at checkout apologized to me and told me she would talk to her but it's the principle of the matter that the sales lady even did that to me! I should not be walking out of your store in tears because one of your employees made me feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable shopping. I'm very disappointed and feel like they should educate their employees to provide a more relaxed shopping experience for their customers if they want to stay in business. Basically the sales lady RACIAL PROFILED me!!!!!
